Come escape to the cool mountain air and enjoy this rustic newer cabin surrounded by beautiful ponderosa pines, wildlife, and serenity!

Our family and friends love this mountain getaway and we want to share the beauty with you! We have taken great care to offer you the very best and most complete amenities.

Enjoy this nice, quiet, and relaxing place to spend the weekend with your significant other, family, or a getaway with friends. You’ll enjoy being surrounded by nature, including visits from deer, elk, and javelinas walking by.
The cabin is much newer than many in the area and features an open concept floor plan with dining and sleeping space for up to 8 people.

Stay for a relaxing weekend, or choose a more extended stay and use either of the two desks and WiFi for any work that you may need to do. Relax in the sunroom with your favorite book while enjoying the beautiful views of nature. Feel free to enjoy the games, books, and toys!

Grab your favorite drink and kick back on the large patio with a covered gazebo perfect for entertaining. Fire up the Weber propane grill and throw on some burgers while your kids run around the grassy backyard and play on the swing set. Snuggle up next to someone special at the outdoor propane-fueled fire table.
Enjoy a short walk just to the end of the street to see the oldest standing schoolhouse in Arizona, built out of pine logs in 1885. Walk a little further and you’ll find a private ranch that has rescued some unique animals including llamas, donkeys, and a zebra named “Stripes”.

The Pine-Trailhead is a short 10-minute drive away where you will find many trails in varying degrees of difficulty from easy to advanced. The Arizona Trail, an 800-mile trail stretching from Utah to Mexico, passes through this area!

A variety of restaurants and unique shopping opportunities are available within Pine & Strawberry, including a Lavender Farm, brewery, and Pie Bar.

Loved the home & area!

The space was perfect for our group. We had myself, my husband and my mom with our twin 2 year olds. It worked out my girls could both fit in pack & plays in the master closet (with our portable fan and sound machine) so the other bedroom could be used for my mom. The trundle bed pictured in the pictures is in the sunroom, which could technically be a 3rd *bright* bedroom. Both beds were very comfortable! There was a keurig with pods provided, random bathroom shampoo/ body wash provided and random condiments in the fridge/ cabinet. Outside was where we spent most of our time. Either on the front porch with 2 adult and 2 children chairs or the spacious backyard. The green grass In back was very luscious and wet as the sprinkles went off each morning. My almost 2 year olds loved the play set. The neighbors were out daily but kept to themselves. We had friendly dogs from 2 houses down come visit out front. Also loved the deer that came to visit and once over our 4 dah visit had 4 elk! We would love to come back and visit again!

Loved it!

Such a nice getaway and a perfect little place for families with children. Love that they have a perfect little closet area for a baby, as well as a climbing play area in the yard and drawing table inside. Really pleased and would definitely visit again! Thanks Gloria!!

Great weekend family retreat

The family and I enjoyed the cleanliness and large quiet backyard. Kids loved the board games and Sun room. Great location allowed several quiet walks and bike rides. Will visit again.

Great for families!

We had our children with us and it was the perfect house for our family. There were toys, a pack and play, high chair and the icing on the cake was the playground in the back. We saw Elk walk through the front yard in the early evening and the house was clean and had everything we needed.

Fantastic accommodations!

Especially if looking to travel with young kids, this spot is amazing. The house is equipped with everything you need and the neighborhood is so much fun, while also quiet and relaxing. Especially with an infant, the oversized closet with doors in master room is the best possible baby sleeping area! We had a blast and loved how easy to get to from Phoenix. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it to others. Thanks Gloria and all!

Very beautiful. Peaceful and relaxing

We enjoyed this home very much! It was beautiful and well taken care of. We loved seeing all the deer and elk in the mornings. Very peaceful neighborhood.

That's why we set out to find a place where we could escape from the busy city and enjoy quiet, nature and teach our children about the forest and help them create long-lasting memories. It's nice, clean, newer, open concept & has enough space for us and our guests. Most importantly, it has a great backyard to entertain and for our kids to run and play while we watch them grow and have fun.
