NOTE: Resort amenities are NOT included with rental., renter(s) are responsible for any fees. Log cabin-style house right in the heart of it all! Located right across from Kinlochen and all of the amenities that Crystal Mountain Resort has to offer. This home sleeps 16 comfortably and within steps from the slopes, pools, spa and golf courses. There is plenty of space to store your sports equipment in the large entryway.The main floor features an open-concept living, dining and kitchen area, with seating for up to 12 people. There is a large flat-screen TV in the living room area, with additional seating for 7-8. There are 2 bathrooms on the main level as well, one adjacent to the master bedroom, and the other just off the the entryway. It also features a front-load full size washer & dryer. There is an open stairway leading up to the second floor loft, where you can play board games, video games, do a little office work, or just relax on the 2 full-size leather convertible sofas with built-in chargers for your electronic devices. Just down the hall is another full bath and 2 bedrooms, one with a king-size bed and the other with a queen/full bunk-style set-up. Both bedrooms have walk-closets, with a rocker and travel crib in the king-bed room. On the basement level is a fourth bedroom with a queen and full/twin bunkbed set on one side of the stairway. The other side features a game room with ping-pong table and dart board. Just around the corner is the 4th bathroom with a walk-in shower. Finally, there is also a family room with 2 pull-out couches, a king and queen size, as well as a large flat-screen TV and fooseball table.

Class of 75 annual golf excursion

Great piece of property for 12 people who are on a golf excursion. Immediate access to Crystal Mountain resort. Property has plenty of sleep space, well supplied kitchen and bath amenities. Couldn't have asked for a better place to spend 4 days.

Spectacular home for a family ski weekend!!

Our family had eight loved our long weekend at this beautiful log cabin. Within walking distance to the ski slopes - which was great for our 4 year old granddaughter - as well as the adults after a long day skiing! The kitchen was so well stocked! Plenty of room and bathrooms for all of us! We will be back!!!

Great log cabin steps away from Crystal Mtn clubhouse and ski lodge

This property was in a great location. Plenty of parking. The property was steps away from the Crystal Mountain clubhouse for golfing in the summer, the ski lodge for skiing in the winter, and restaurant. The house was very clean and included all of the amenities you would need including personal supplies, kitchen supplies, and cleaning supplies. I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a weekend getaway or a week long vacation in northern Michigan.

Ski Trip

The house is very nice, a perfect size and location, right by the Buck chairlift. Great to have games in the basement and the sauna after a day of skiing. The kitchen is well stocked too, but could use some new frying pans, they are all stratched up. Only complaint is that the house was very dusty, could see all the dust on the log walls and light fixtures.

Absolutely top notch vacation home!

We have stayed in many vacation homes over the past 10 years. This is one of the best, no question. Everything was extremely well thought out. Ample seating, games on multiple levels, plenty of towels, tons of spices for cooking, plenty of toilet paper / paper towels etc etc. The house itself was absolutely breathtaking. The location could not be beat, walking distance to all that Crystal Mountain has to offer. Book with confidence, if there is a negative review, I can assure you they are lying. Will 100 percent stay again.

Great location but not welcoming

We booked this property when no other properties were available - about 2 months before arrival date. The listing looked great and the location is definitely the best in the area!Then 2 weeks before arrival, the property manager emailed demanding I sign an additional property agreement. I told them, I booked through VRBO and that we are covered under VRBO's terms. They still insisted and said I wouldn't be able to "check-in" if I didn't sign. This is 2 weeks before the trip and ALL other properties are booked up; so I reviewed the terms and proposed some changes to the agreement. The owner wants NO liability of injuries, even if they are negligent - so I proposed changes to the terms to cover negligence, like any other responsible party would. I was told that no changes will be excepted and the booking will be canceled if I didn't sign as is. They said they are allowed to cancel on VRBO. VRBO said they would help if the owner canceled but again there was nothing available for my party size.I, unfortunately, had no option but to sign. And then still did not receive the door code until prompted.However, I was surprised to see a welcome gift basket when we arrived.The home itself is nice but note that the owner(s) frequent the property and their stuff is all around. Also the dishware was not properly cleaned and we had to wash everything before use.Just some things to be aware of...The rest of the stay was fine.

We booked this cabin for a work conference and it exceeded our expectations!! Everyone loved it and had a great time. Everything was clean and they had everything you needed! The check-in and check-out process was a breeze. It was very spacious and fit everyone comfortably! We can't wait to come back next year for round two! If you are looking for a place to stay, in a GREAT location and a quality home, this is the place for you!

Labor Day Family Getaway

We absolutely loved the vacation home! It had everything we needed and more. This home was equipped with more than the usual items provided for guests. We had all the firewood we needed.
