Welcome! Make yourself at home!
Beach living is the Best!

Welcome to Kinney Shores! We hope you enjoy your stay at the newly renovated Low Tide! The large, well equipped kitchen also contains a coffee pot, French press, toaster, microwave, blender, and hand mixer. The back deck features a gas BBQ grill, patio table, chairs and a large yard. There is also a private outdoor shower. The living room features a SMART TV with Spectrum Cable TV with NESN and seating for 8. This unit has a washer/dryer and hairdryers in each bathroom. There are three queen beds/bedrooms and one bedroom with two twins. The screened porch offers extra seating in the quiet of the back yard. The cottage is located only one block to 7 miles of sandy beach, stretching from Camp Ellis to Scarborough and is also adjacent to the Rachel Carson National Wildlife Refuge. Adorable Ocean Park is only a short bike ride or walk away where you can enjoy cinnamon buns, pizza and ice cream. In addition to great birding, other outdoor activities include whale watching, exploring the Trails of Saco, local and island golf, biking along The Eastern Trail and shopping. Head to downtown Old Orchard Beach for family entertainment at Palace Playland. Portland is only a 20 minute drive away and the restaurant scene is amazing!

Driveway to the right of the house parks 3 cars. Sleeps 8. 2 full bathrooms, one with a tub. Air-conditioning and window fans available. Washer-dryer, dishwasher, wi-fi, SMART TV, Red Sox baseball on NESN, enclosed outdoor shower. Renovated top to bottom in 2022.

No pets, no smoking/vaping/marijuana use inside or anywhere on the property. Ask about our winter rental rates too!

Note: For summer rentals, must bring your own bed linens and beach towels, or you can rent through Bayside Linens at www.baysidelinens.com. (Off-season stays, sheets, pillowcases and quilts will be provided.)

This property shares a lot with The High Tide (the small cottage at the back of the property). Inquire about renting both the High and Low Tide if you need more sleeping space!

Comfortable Cottage Get Away!

All aspects of this rental were wonderful. The cottage met all of our needs for eight people aged 8 months to almost 80! The unit was exactly as described and the hosts were wonderful to work with.

A lot better than a hotel

The property is updated and well-maintained. The beds were comfortable, and bedding and linens were provided. The residence is in a nice neighborhood, and it is close to the beach. We’ll be back for sure.

Weekend Getaway

My two sisters and I had a wonderful long weekend at The Low Tide. Relaxing and comfortable stay and great location to all of our favorite places in Maine. The property was just awesome. A very well taken care of cottage. Had everything you could imagine. Very short walk to the beach and a short ride to arcade and amusement park for the kids. Would absolutely stay there again!

We have stayed at many VRBO's over the years and I have to say this is my favorite house so far. The attention to detail from Suzanne and Brian were outstanding. Excellent trip!

We went to Saco with our toddler and parents and had a wonderful time. The house was perfect distance from the ocean in a quiet neighborhood. NESN is always a bonus. The owners were very helpful and responded quickly to questions. We would love to return next year!

Beautiful rental near ocean

We had a great time at this rental, it had everything we needed, it was clean and was beautifully decorated. The owners were super nice and had great communication with us. This location is super close to the beach and other amenities. If you are a light sleeper, I would bring a pair of ear plugs, as it does have road noise. I would stay here again and recommend to friends and family!

A Charming, Modern Beach House

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Just one block from the beach, this house was perfect. It is spacious enough to accommodate mid-sized family. It was modern with a beachy feel. We were in a tranquil neighborhood away from the Old Orchard Beach crowds, but close enough to enjoy some carnival time. There are also hiking trails nearby and seaside views. A wonderful getaway.

Truly intelligent design

Two cons: 1. One room upstairs had beds that were very low to the ground. 2. A pump, no doubt necessary in that location, ran 24/7 and caused a shallow pool to form in the yard. Abundant pros: The house has zero wasted space—it represents truly intelligent design. It’s also decorated beautifully. The couch was giant and was so comfortable. The TV frame was awesome in that it permitted broad access to numerous services. The enclosed back porch was roomy and comfortable…in a word: fantastic. The supplies—bug spray, TP and paper towels, bath and face towels—were so welcome. The proximity to the beach was fantastic—the house is barely 2 blocks away. Having filtered water on-demand in the fridge was amazing. The bookshelf was full of great titles like The Perfect Storm and brain teasers, with which our party had a lot of fun. Having two bathrooms could not have been better. There was SO much storage and so many hooks available to us—a rare thing in a VRBO property! The decor and the attention to detail made the house feel like a true home away from home. Bonus: The property owners were kind and attentive.

Quick walk to the beach.

Clean and freshly renovated. Family of adults gathered. 3 nice bedrooms for adults. Road noise is a bit rough, but the amenities and proximity to things makes up for it. Would book again.
