Drive just minutes to the beach, or relax at home on the covered patio. Find plenty of room for recreation and soaking up the sun in the back and side yards or the quaint front porch. Several dining and shopping options are just a quick drive away. Browse paintings and crafts from local artists at Rockport Center for the Arts, and brush up on your history at the Texas Maritime Museum, less than two miles away. Go a little farther to Goose Island State Park for scenic walking trails and the chance to spot native waterfowl. The fishing enthusiasts in your group will find ample opportunities nearby to make the perfect Gulf-coast catch.

After a fun-filled beach day, relax in the living area, furnished with plush sofas and two armchairs. Make popcorn and watch your favorite shows on the 60” cable TV and soundbar. The chef in your group will appreciate the modern kitchen, equipped with a full suite of stainless steel appliances. Sip morning coffee at the kitchen bar with seating for three.

Find quiet privacy in the primary bedroom, furnished with a 32” cable TV. The en suite main bathroom features a walk-in shower.

**Due to the location of our rentals, you may encounter situations with wildlife/pests. Please be aware of your surroundings, take caution while driving at night and supervise your children at all times while outdoors. In addition, all properties do utilize pest control maintenance on a regular basis BUT this does not guarantee pests or bugs will not be visible.

Had enough beds for everybody to comfortably sleep, plenty of space for everybody. The back patio was so nice and relaxing. Had plenty of places to sit for meals. Location was convenient, only a few minutes drive to everything in town. House had everything that you could need. Felt right at home here. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a very comfortable home. Great beds, nice floorplan. I was clean and had the equipment we needed to fix our breakfasts. Even the neighborhood felt safe. I had accidently left our truck door open for hours, and a nice man knocked on the door to let me know. It's only a few blocks from anything you want to see or buy.

Rockport Weekend

Very clean & uncluttered. Plenty of cook ware & utensils. Backyard covered patio & fenced area clean & manicured. Nice beds & linens. Overall all home seemed brand new & very well taken care of. Location was close to everything & neighborhood was quiet. The one thing which didn't effect me on this trip as we elected to eat out (good sea food) was that pantry door was locked & there would have been no place to store snacks & foods out of your way. That was only negative we noticed & not a big deal unless you needed storage for meals.

Beautiful with terrible service

The house is beautiful and provides many "at home" amenities. The beds were also comfortable. However, there were roaches that were 2 inches in length. We killed a few on the front porch and back patio, in the house on the kitchen and laundry room floors, and on the couch. We reached out to Vacasa immediately but all we received was a canned response of "we apologize for the inconvenience and have reached out to the local manager." Long story short, nothing was done to right the situation. We didn't use the living room furniture because we were afraid a roach would crawl across us. We didn't feel comfortable cooking in the kitchen and only used the fridge for cold items while the rest of our food remained in our van, meaning we spent additional money on eating out for all meals instead of just dinner. I am pretty reasonable and understand that bugs increase after a storm and also understand that the problem might not be fixed in the two days we were there, but no additional response, after apologizing for the inconvenience, is as disgusting as the roaches. Coming out and spraying the perimeter of the house or refunding some of our money for not being able to use half of the amenities would have been appropriate gestures in the right direction. If we had arrived earlier in the day or were staying longer than two days, we would not have stayed there. One of the main reasons we went for a rental home was to be able to cook and we couldn't without roach worry.

Relaxing Getaway

A wonderful place to stay! The house was clean, the couches were comfortable, there were plenty of throw blankets, and enough towels for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with anything you’d need to cook a full meal. The table was big enough for the eight of us, the living room provided ample space for the baby to crawl and the kids to play, enough sitting in the living room for the whole group to relax together and lots of sitting outside for bbq nights. The best thing- all three rooms had queen sized beds so no adult got stuck squeezing on a twin or the couch. The only two negatives- the pillows were uncomfortable and the toilet paper was very thin (not sure if this is due to septic tank needs.) Despite that, we would definitely return!

Very nice house. Close to grocery stores and restaurants. The reason for my 4 stars is the back patio, in my opinion, needs more light. We tried to have dinner and was very dark out there. Other than that I totally recommend for any beach getaway!

Very comfortable house for family gathering

Stayed here with family while visiting our grandmother in Rockport. Very clean and comfortable and nice back patio for hanging out. The internet went out while we were there; took a few phone calls, but the rental company was responsive. Couldn't fix it before we left but gave us a credit. So not ideal but at least they tried. And overall we enjoyed the house, so would still stay there again.

I would recommend "Fish Tail" vacation home to any and all who are looking for a place to stay while vacationing in Rockport, Texas. I love the calming bright colors of the interior walls and the comfort of the interior decoration and all the accommodations it offers. Amazing stay for a large family
