Beautiful condo with amazing view!

Cristina was friendly and lovely! The apartment/condo was in a very clean building, was incredibly clean and comfortable for 3 adults with separate bedrooms and bathrooms. Most importantly, the view from the balcony is breathtaking!

Mountain View’s.

The apartment was very spacious with magnificent views. Some of the electrical points did not work, plus flickering lights or in need of light bulbs. The bedding was adequate but some of the duvet/pillows in the cupboards were sweat stained - this wasn’t a problem as there was only two of us. It is a beautiful apartment and you could sit on the balcony all day. Comfy living space. A steep climb from the station for older people. Overall, I would recommend if they addressed the above points.

We loved the apartment but, at ages 79 and 80 the location was not ideal because of the walk from the bus stop. I had e-mailed my arrival time twice but got no response (we had spent a week in France first). No-one was there to let us in and, when we phoned, were told it would be 2 hours wait. I could have been told this in advance and we would then have waited in town and had a meal. However, our phone call was returned and someone appeared 30-45 minutes later to let us in. Flat on A Montreux Hill

Large flat and satisfactorily accommodating; kitchen well equipped and views from the balcony were spectacular. That 10-minute walk to City Center was very steep in both directions. Take heed! Quicker response times from manager to some questions asked would have been appreciated, and additional rolls of toilet paper would have been nice.

What A View

Had a fantastic week stay at this Montreux Apartment. The property does sit a bit up from the lake shore, but that makes the views even better. And the walk down to the lake shore was pretty easy (bit of a steep walk back up). We were also pleasantly surprise to find out how close the property was to the Vieille-Ville de Montreux (old town of Montreux) and loved getting to explore that area as well with its small shops and restaurants. The apartment is adequately outfitted with everything you need. The beds were a little firm for us, but still got a good nights sleep. The in-floor heating was great, and kept the apartment nice and warm as our visit was in mid-November. As part of the tourist tax you receive a tourist card that provides free transportation which was nice to have when walking out and about and catching a ride back from nearby villages. The property manager met us when agreed upon and was great at showing us around and making sure we understood how everything worked. All in all loved our stay and would definitely consider returning here again on a future trip.

Ce grand appartement est beau, beau parquet, grands placards et belle vue. 2 chambres parents, 160cm*200, 1 chambre 1 enfant. Close to station & town with breathtaking views from the balcony.

It was with slight reservation that I booked the property as there were no reviews but I have to say it was better than expected! The views are incredible, the place is a good size-we had thought the single put-me-up bed would be in the living room but it has it’s own room and there are three shower rooms with a toilet each and a bath as well in one so each bedroom gets it’s own bathroom even though they are not en suite. The apartment is large and in a great location to be close to town but quiet (we came during the festival) so you can watch everything going on from above. It is basically furnished but the price was very reasonable so that reflects this I guess. I would be happy to pay a bit more and have a few extra finishing touches. The pillows in one room were tiny & very flat-not very comfy. Also we came in a heatwave and there is no air conditioning which now there have been 4 major heatwaves in a row in the last 4 summers might be worth investing in. Some of us did struggle sleeping-maybe even just fans would be good. The positioning is handy for the train station which we arrived by from the airport but if any of your party have trouble walking it is all steep roads to and from the flat. We did manage to find a route by The Grande Hotel Suisse then through the station which had escalators for a large amount of the walk from the promenade. The agent looking after the flat was very friendly and helpful. All in all we had a fantastic time and with a few additions in the flat would definitely be 5* but certainly for the price it was very good. I am going to miss sitting out on the glorious balcony which is what I’m doing as I write this review!
