Cozy Cabin Escape Lake Cushman Access + Hiking, Pickleball, Golf. Pet Friendly!

Cozy 2-bedroom, 2-bath cabin with soaring ceilings and a wood-burning stove—the perfect mountain retreat. Located within walking distance of Cushman Golf Course and tennis/pickleball courts, and just minutes from private Lake Cushman parks, boat launches, hiking trails, and the Staircase entrance to Olympic National Park. Hoodsport's shops, restaurants, and wineries are also just a short drive away.

Amenities:
• Cozy cabin tucked at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac. The space includes:
• 2 bedrooms + 2 full bathrooms (queen bed, two twin beds)
• Wood-burning stove for cozy evenings
• Futon couch for additional sleeping space
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Coffee & Tea Bar (Keurig, K-cups, grinder, kettle, and assorted teas)
• Dedicated workspace with extra monitor, mouse and office supplies.
• Washer & dryer
• Wi-Fi + Roku TV streaming
• Guest pass to private Lake Cushman parks
• Outdoor fire pit (seasonal use due to burn bans)
• Gas grill for outdoor cooking

Hoodsport is a charming small town with a grocery store, restaurants, and a winery. Shelton is about 20 minutes away, and Olympia is approximately 35 miles south.

House Rules: Our cabin is located at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac in a peaceful neighborhood. Please be respectful of our neighbors by observing quiet hours. No smoking inside the cabin, and **no fireworks of any kind** are permitted. Violations may result in additional fees. Pets welcome, please keep them off furniture and beds.

Birthday Kayaking and Hiking Getaway

This was a great little place for a night away near the lake and Mt. Rose trailhead for the kayaking and hiking we planned to do. Very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the openness of the kitchen/living room area and the fact that both baths were full baths.

Cute and comfortable cottage

It was our first time ever renting a residential property and after staying at Marlene’s cottage we will for sure do it a lot more. The property was just as described. It was cute, clean, comfortable, and close to many beautiful areas and hikes. Communication with the owner was seamless whenever we had a question. We cooked on our stay and all the basics are provided. You can tell the owner thinks about a lot of little details a guest might want and need.

Beautiful!

My wife and I had the best time celebrating her 30th birthday. We were able to bring our dogs with us and there was more than enough room for us all to have a relaxing stay. Thank you, Marlene! We will definitely be back.

Lovely cabin in the lake Cushman area

Great place, highly recommended. It is located very close to both lakes Cushman and Kokanee, and the Staircase area of the Olympic NP. Both lakes have lovely private parks (5-10 minutes driving from the cabin) that you can access and are great for swimming in the summer. The cabin itself is very clean, stylish and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. Five of us stayed there comfortably. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

Super location! Great Stay!

We had a great weekend and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The cabin is in a perfect location to explore and enjoy all the area has to offer. Quiet neighborhood and cabin had everything we needed for a relaxing and fun stay with our kids. Loved how it was decorated and all the little details to make it feel like home away from home. We would love to come back!

Great location, very clean!

The property is located in a safe and quiet community. We enjoyed walking the "loop" and the friendliness of neighbors made us feel right at home. Staying at the cottage felt like staying at a friend's home. You will have every kitchen item you can possibly need and the place was impeccably clean. A Walmart and Fred Meyer are only 30 min away and the entrance to the Olympic National Park is right down the road.

Great place to relax

So very , very quiet. The mexican resteraunt in town is WONDERFUL!!. Thanks for suggesting it. The hostess was easy to work with. The cottage had everything you would want. Would have been nice to have tin foil or baggies though. Will come back .

Perfect!

This was a perfect place for my 2 teenagers, school aged child and myself. Unfortunately, it rained the day we had set aside to go explore but the “cabin” was perfect!

Beautiful

Check in was supper easy. We loved our stay and proximity to the Olympic national forest. The cottage is super cute and very clean. It was set up very well for children, they loved all the board games. We also greatly enjoyed that we were able to watch deer as they grazed near the cottage.

Quaint Cabin in the woods

This nice little cabin in the woods was just what we needed to rest and relax out of the big city. We went into Olympic National Park which is really close, and the Hood River. Check in process was super easy, and everything was really clean! Loved our stay and hope to come back soon. Great host and place.

Cute cottage

Cottage was decorated for valentines and gift was left for us. Neighborhood was very quiet. We stayed for valentines weekend. Enjoyed fire pit at night. Highly recommend it for a get away.

Great space

My 3 kids, 2 dogs and i enjoyed our stay very much. There was snow on the ground and it was the perfect setting for a night away. We enjoyed not having a tv too distract us. We played board games (provided and brought) cooked dinner, had popcorn and enjoyed each others company.

We love spending time at the parks on Lake Cushman all year-round, even in the winter months. There is so much beauty in this area. In the summer the sun shines brightly on the clear lake and in winter, the cold and heavy rain and snow awakens and reminds us that we're alive and part of this amazing earth!
