##The neighborhood
Le Lavoir is located in Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or, one of the most sought-after villages in western Lyon. Nestled on a hillside in a peaceful residential setting, it offers a verdant setting yet is only 15 minutes from Lyon.
In the immediate vicinity, you'll find the village center of Saint-Didier, known for its Saturday morning market, food shops, friendly terraces and elegant, relaxed atmosphere.
The surrounding area is ideal for walking or cycling in the Monts d'Or, a veritable nature reserve on the outskirts of town. From the house, you can quickly get to Lyon, its museums, restaurants and stores, while enjoying the peace and quiet at the end of the day.

##Access

Le Lavoir is ideally located in Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or, just 15 to 20 minutes from the center of Lyon, yet offering the calm and authenticity of a popular village green.

* By car: Easily accessible via the M6 or the northern ring road, the house is about 20 minutes from the Presqu'île or Part-Dieu. Several parking spaces are available directly on the property.
* By train: Lyon-Vaise station (TER and metro line D) is just 15 minutes away. It provides quick access to central Lyon and the main TGV stations.
* By public transport: Les Ormes bus stop is a 6-minute walk from the house. It is served by line 20, which links Saint-Didier-au-Mont-d'Or to the Gare de Vaise metro station (line D) in 10 to 15 minutes.
* By plane: Lyon Saint-Exupéry airport is about 40 minutes away by car, depending on traffic.
