Your perfect vacation is written in the stars - beachfront, dog friendly, and ready for fun! Aquarius is perfect for couples or small families looking for a budget friendly spot to enjoy some time on Galveston’s 32 miles of beaches.
The main deck boasts abundant seating, including a picnic table for al fresco dining and lounging chairs for sunning. Step inside, and you can enjoy the panoramic Gulf view from comfortable leather couches . The open floor plan makes it easy to spend quality time with your favorite people. You’ll find the kitchen fully equipped with plenty of prep & storage space, as well as all the utensils, pots, pans, dishes, etc. that you’ll need for preparing your favorite beach meals. Start each day by planning your adventures over breakfast at the dining table that seats 6.
You’ll find both bedrooms on the same main level of this fresh beach house. The primary king suite has an attached bath and closet, while the queen bedroom is adjacent to the full bath in the hall (shower only). Extra guests can take advantage of the queen sleeper sofa in the living room.
When the water calls, pack up your beach cart because the waves are only 50 feet away. The hard part is choosing between your favorite activities - beachcombing, sunbathing, surfing, or swimming!
After a full day of fun on the sand, barbeque on the charcoal grill and dine on the patio’s picnic table. Watching the Galveston sunset with a meal is the perfect way to end the night!

PET POLICY This house is pet friendly and accepts 2 small dogs (each <20 lbs) OR 1 medium dog (40 – 60 lbs) with a non-refundable pet fee of $125+ tax. You must indicate you are “traveling with pets” prior to booking.
SUBDIVISION AMENITIES Sea Isle Pool (Memorial Day to Labor Day) – purchase a pass at the pool during normal business hours.
Sea Isle Fishing Pier - request a pier key (refundable deposit required) at the SNS Rental Office.
SECURITY CAMERAS: Exterior security cameras in use at this property.
PARKING Parking is available for up to 2 vehicles in the private driveway of this home. Per HOA rules, street parking is not allowed.
LINENS & STARTER SUPPLIES KIT We want to help get your trip off to an easy start, so you’ll find a set of starter supplies at your home when you arrive: a roll of toilet paper for each bathroom, dishwashing soap, and shampoo, conditioner, lotion and hand soap for the bathrooms. For longer vacations, please plan to bring your favorite brands with you. Sheets & bath towels are included with every reservation. Housekeeping places freshly laundered linens in the home before every arrival and will collect any used linens after you depart.
LOCAL & LOVING IT We are here to help! Our office is right at the entrance to Pirates Beach and is open from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. every day. Our Property Services team is available for guests 24/7, so be sure to call us if there’s anything you need!

Loved the location. Loved the house. The interior is great. It was the perfect size. I wish there was a cover over the deck to keep us out of the sun because we loved sitting outside. Disappointed with the grill- almost not usable. The deck has boards that are splitting. So, you can’t walk on the deck barefoot.

Smoke scent every time we came in the front door. Know it was a non smoker house, but…
Few of the spatulas had dried egg on them. I washed cutting boards twice, but still could not convince myself to use one. Just too aged and used. Look like haven’t been replaced in a long time. View good for winter months, but would be looking at a lot of cars in the beach parking lot during summer months.

Hi Richard - Thanks for taking the time to leave a review. We are very sorry to hear about the issue you encountered, especially the smoke smell. We are strictly non-smoking but, unfortunately, it sounds like the previous guest may not have followed that house rule. We would have been happy to have housekeeping come back out to remediate the odor and property services could have dropped off some new cutting boards. If we're lucky enough to host you again, please don't hesitate to let us know if there's anything you need during your stay! Glad to hear you enjoyed the beachfront view and yes, the beach does get busy during our hot Texas summers!

The view from inside the house is fantastic. The deck, while it had some loose nails from boards coming up, was enclosed, which was great.However, there was a strong insecticide smell, lots of termites, & not forthcoming mgt. co. Smell was still strong on day 6 when we left. We had to rewash everything when we got home, even clean items in packing bags in suitcases b/c they were covered in the smell. Termites on TV screens in master BR & living room, in master sink & shower. I put first 6 in a ziploc bag & texted mgt. company & asked if they had recently sprayed b/c the house smelled strongly of insecticide & there termites. The person apologized saying, “I do apologize for the bug spray smell. Pest control was there before your stay. Hopefully you won't be seeing anymore live ones and the treatment worked.”When I asked what day they sprayed (b/c the house didn't have windows that could be opened & we brought our dog, who spent more time inside than we did) she responded that person said he’d only put out bait & didn’t know what we would smell. She stated they hadn’t seen signs of termites, but there were reports of swarms on island. Worried about our dog, I asked where they put the bait so we could be aware of it. I never heard back on the bait or on other issues & damage observed. Almost no water in kitchen. - Last day, in daylight, we saw there were termites all along the wall in the master & evidence of them along a kitchen wall.
