This home is located in one of the most coveted locations in the Charleston area - South Mount Pleasant. This laid back one story ranch has four bedrooms and two baths. Three of the bedrooms have brand new beds and the fourth bedroom has a large children's suite which features two sets of bunk beds for the youngsters. This home has a large private back yard with a propane grill; and it is pet friendly.
Located just a short two miles from beautiful Sullivan's Island, ten minutes from Isle of Palms, and fifteen minutes to historic Downtown Charleston; the location could not be better. Within a five minute drive you will find grocery stores, restaurants, bars, and shopping. The kitchen has an eat in breakfast table that seats 4, stainless steel appliances and granite countertops. The living room has multiple couches, a large TV, books, and is great for lounging after a day at the beach or downtown Charleston; the attached dinning table seats 6.

*Pets are not allowed on furniture or beds. Guests can not use the fireplace.
2021 updates: Exterior painted white, ceilings scraped
2022 updates: NEW BEDS! New stainless steel gas grill. New dryer.
2023 updates: Fresh interior paint job, new living room furniture (new couch, love seat, swivel chair) as well as a new breakfast table in the kitchen. Slip covers were installed over all living room furniture for protection.

Cleaning information: At this property we provide starter "essentials" like a hotel, but we don't have the maids come back each day to restock what was used so depending on the length of your stay and number of guests, you may need to buy additional supplies. In addition to the complete professional cleaning between guests, we provide starter bathroom essentials (hand soap, body wash/shampoo), two rolls of TP per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, hand soap for the kitchen sink, two trash bags, laundry detergent, and dish washer detergent. We also provide all bed linens and leave one towel/hand towel per guest the home sleeps. We do not provide beach towels or chairs.
Parking: The driveway can accommodate 2-3 vehicles, on-street parking is not allowed.

Great layout that fit our group of 4 adults and 5 kids very comfortably. Wonderful location in a quiet neighborhood. Smooth check in and excellent communication with host. I gave four stars because the house and furniture are showing a little wear and tear from being used frequently and we found a couple used Gatorade bottles under a dresser and a bed. However we still felt very comfortable there and would stay again!

The house was very welcoming feeling just like home upon arrival. It as everything you need and is close to beach shopping and good places to eat not to mention a short drive to down town Charleston. We will be staying there when ever in town since my son lives on the same street.

The house was great for our needs coming in for a family wedding weekend. It is centrally located between the beaches, airport, and downtown Charleston; all were within 15-20 minutes of the house. Plenty of stores and restaurants nearby for anything you may need. The house could use a bit of a refresh in the interior and a better cleaning but overall, but nothing was glaringly alarming. There is no bath tub; only showers, so if you are traveling with little kids just be aware of that. However as said, this house was perfect for our short stay.

This was the perfect spot for a vacation to the Charleston area. Easy and close access to many of the main things to do around the area. The house was great and had the essentials needed to kick off a vacation.

This was a great location for us to gather as a family. We were close to Sullivan’s Island and Charleston. There was plenty of room for us, and the home was very clean and the neighborhood quiet. Our host was incredibly helpful and responsive! A nice place to stay.

Great stay for the price but definitely could use some updates — new towels, new pillows and bedding, and a fresh coat of paint. Good communication with the host. The neighborhood was great, easy to walk to things (spread bagelry 10/10) and get to downtown Charleston and Sullivan’s island. Overall, worked for our party.

We travel to Mt.P every year for family vacation and this year we brought our dog with us for her first trip to the beach. The house is in a PRIME location so we were super happy with it and the the neighborhood was really cozy and well kept. The house itself was really nice. Our 4 year old loved the bunk bed room and it had a cool metal table for him to set up and play with his magnatiles. Unfortunately the TV in the bunk bed room is no longer compatible with the apps loaded onto it as a smart TV so it couldn't be used but that wasn't a huge deal for us. The living room, kitchen and other bed rooms were nice and our dog loved the back yard. Just a few things to consider - not at all negatives but just things we thought were important to point out. The house has hardwood throughout and is framed on the older side no noise carries and if your pet has longer nails then you will hear them click clacking around. Also all of the beds are either Queens or Fulls so if you as a couple are used to a bigger bed or are taller people like my husband who is 6'5, you may want to consider that. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely book this house again.
