Wonderful room for the price! Smelt faintly of cigarettes, but I think that is unavoidable in Paris and not the host’s fault. The location is amazing with tasty bakeries and creperies nearby.

Such a perfect location for my visit to Paris! The apartment is exactly as you see, which was perfect for this single traveler. It provided everything I needed. The toilet room is separate but it is not a shared toilet. The area has everything near by, including a choice of metro/bus stops, and as a female I never felt unsafe, even late at night. It is on the 5th floor with narrow circular steps, so consider that if you have a lot of luggage. Again, for me it was the perfect apartment for my first visit to Paris, and I would definitely stay there again.

The location is so dreamy. The apartment was small but clean. The other reviews here helped me a lot to have the right expectations and really enjoy my stay. Some of the things they said (with some of my own added): It is 5 flights of very narrow, dark, winding stairs. Not for those with mobility impairments. Not for those with lots of luggage. The pictures that are sent are critical to being able to find the place. Study them.The place is small. Like a bed with a walkway, a counter, a shower. It’s tight. The toilet is in the hall, but it doesn’t seem to be shared with any other apartments. The other tenants are silent so it seems that expectations are that you will be as well.There was soaps and towels, which was nice.

The owner, Chacha, was kind enough to message me and inform me that it's a 5th floor apartment with no elevator. As I usually left in the morning and returned in the evening, that wasn't a big problem for me. Location is good on the Island of St. Louis, with the bells of Notre Dame ringing in the background.I didn't realize in the listing that while the shower was in the room, the toilet was out in the hall. Wasn't really a problem, as I seemed to be the only one using it.It's a small apartment, but all you need in Paris.

All door codes provided by the hoast were wrong. We had difficulty getting into the building and opening the lock box due to all the wrong codes. When we originally entered the building, a resident had opened the door for us so when we returned later that night and tried to renter, we found out the code given by the hoast did not work. We called him and asked for the code and he gave us multiple wrong codes, called us names, and laughed at us. It was a very scary night. The hoast never ended up leaving us the codes so we left the property the following morning and checked into a hotel. We woke up to find the fridge in the property leaking which had soaked the bags we placed next to it.
