Playa Honda is a tourist beach in the region of Murcia with fine golden sand on a small sea with calm waters and high salinity. Ideal for families looking for natural beaches and in a beautiful saltwater environment. The Costa Cálida offers more than 3,000 hours of sunshine per year and mild temperatures even in winter, with an annual average of 19 ° C. It is an ideal environment for water sports, such as sailing, swimming, fishing and also mountain biking.

Next to the salt marshes of Marchamalo you will find a bird watching area where you can see flamingos and other migratory birds and the sunset of the Mar Menor is one of the most beautiful in Europe.

Lots of small issues spoiled our stay

The property manager did not speak English. It took us 4 days to get the correct WiFi password. There was not enough hot water for more than two people to shower. The pool was very cloudy. The hot tub did not work. The front gate was out of order. The electricity kept tripping off.
