Great house for group and great location

We really enjoyed our stay. The house accommodated multi family group of 11 very well and the ping pong table and pool table were a hit with everyone for apres ski fun. We had an issue that came up during our stay and the owner was highly attentive and accommodating to resolve.

Overall great stay for what we needed and Kathy was great with communications.

To be honest sleeping was tight for even 10 people but we all got our own beds which was nice. I would recommend this place for friends, but not necessarily with my family.

Amazing views. Great main room for all of us to hang out in.

This place is comfortable - especially the main living room shown in the photo. The views are stunning. I would love having a beer on that deck after a day of spring skiing! The drive up the hill is intense but everyone in my group has AWD and made it. The beds were comfortable. The place is a little dated and oddly the heat is controlled by 1 thermostat. (So one zone for a 3 story place.) The layout and bedrooms and proximity to bathrooms is not perfect. Three downstairs bedrooms have 1 bath. One main floor bedroom has a bath. The top floor game room has a full bath - but no bedding set up on the top floor. The place could have been cleaned better (old coffee grounds in the coffee maker, lots of crumbs sitting under the toaster, dead fly's visible in the overhead fluorescent lights etc) - but really it was clean enough for me to stay again. Lastly - pretty cool that you can see the Skyeship stage 1 gondola from the deck and look back at the house as you're skiing Killington!

Amazing Experience

Kathy was a totally wonderful host and the entire process was extremely easy. The house was immaculate and provided great spaces for everyone in our group to relax and unwind after a day at the slopes. Not to mention the absolutely stellar views could never get old!

Beauty and tranquility, felt like our own vacation home

I highly recommend this property for any season. Less than 10 minutes from the mountain lodge. Plenty of space for 12, and 3 bathrooms. 5 coaches and 8 seats at the table. Everyone in our family loved this property. And one of the best views we have had at any location. Rent and enjoy.

Beautiful House + Great Views + Open Floor Plan

We really enjoyed our stay at the top of Hadley Peak! My co-workers and I do an annual ski weekend and our normal house was booked so luckily for us we found this property. It was perfect for our group of 12 with an open living room/ dining room/ kitchen for hanging out and making dinner. Kathy was very communicative and prompt with her delivery of the keys before we arrived. Leaving the house was a breeze with the usual clean up but we were able to leave the linens on the beds for the the cleaning crew. When we were there it did snow and would recommend AWD/ 4WD for getting up the switch backs up to the house. Skyship Gondola was closed due to the lack of snow coverage this season but it was super easy to park at Bear Peak. We would definitely recommend this house and would stay again.

Great house, great views!

This house was the perfect home base for a long weekend of biking/hiking with family and friends. Only a short drive to Snowshed lodge. The pictures don't capture how amazing the view really is! Plenty of space, clean, modern appliances in the kitchen, and a huge deck. Fresh linens/towels were provided. The owner was super responsive and helpful. It was nice that she mailed the keys a week before arriving, which was one less thing to worry about when we got there. I would certainly like to return in the winter for a ski weekend someday. Like others mentioned, the road to get here is steep but worth it when you get to the top!

great house and great owner

Had a little problem with the keys being mailed to me because of the crazy winter storms but Kathy took care of everything. She always responds quickly and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus the house is amazing. Great layout with places to sleep everywhere, great view, great kitchen, great everything. Would recommend this place to anyone taking a trip to Killington. Only thing I recommend is you better have 4 wheel drive or you will not make it to the house in the winter.

Best House in Killington!

My friends and I have been going to Killington for a few years and each year we were never really quite satisfied with the places we've stayed at, until we found this place! The house is really beautiful and it has all the amenities you need. It's very well maintained. It has great views and is conveniently located close to the Skyeship Gondola! The owner, Kathy, was great! She is very friendly and accommodating and was always available if you had questions or needed anything. We had such a great time staying at this house that we are already talking about planning our next trip up next season! Definitely check out this place. You will not be disappointed! I guarantee it!

Perfect In Everyway

A group of 12 friends had the pleasure to spend our weekend ski trip here. The house is just as advertised with incredible views! The location was private and easy to get to with even better amenities inside. The owner of the home was prompt with responses and equally friendly. The whole experience from start to finish was easy and fun. If you're looking for a great home with a good group of people, this is the place for you!

Great House!

Amazing house with beautiful views and a great location. About a dozen of us stayed here for a weekend getaway and had a great time. The house is huge and has plenty of space to relax after a long day on the mountain. The house was extremely clean and well taken care of. Kathy was a pleasure to deal with and made sure everything was perfect. She even mailed us a couple of things we had forgotten at the house! We would definitely stay here again. Thank you Kathy!

Best House 2 Years Strong

This is the house to rent!!! This is my 2nd year renting this home and it is perfect for a larger group. Everything is exactly as described and over exceeded our expectations. This is my only option moving forward if available. There plenty of room for everyone and more. The house is HUGE with a great floor plan for entertaining and still have privacy. The location was perfect (Less than 5 mins drive down to SnowShed or Bear Mountain). The home was very clean and provided all the necessities you would need. Excellent views and very quiet. The owner, Kathy, was amazing. Excellent communication, accomodating and provided great instruction and direction for easy check-in, check-out. As stated, this is the house to rent! I look forward to many more trips up to Vermont with my group in this house for years to come.

Excellent for groups, great common space

The house came exactly as described, in some cases better. The picture doesn't do justice to the size of the dining area / TV / sitting area as there are two full sets of couches and a large dining table, which is great for larger groups. We never felt crowded despite our number. Also, very importantly, the hot water heater never ran out even when we all showered back to back. The renter (Kathy) was very communicative and helpful in setting everything up. If our group went back to Killington, I'd certainly rent this house again!
