One bedroom apartment in a town house built in 1855, just 15 mins walk to the Halifax Waterfront. Located in a low-rise, heritage-controlled area, one block from Citadel Hill and the Halifax Commons. A diverse, artistic and friendly residential neighbourhood in the centre of Halifax.
The apartment is very warm and bright and features stone and brick accent walls, a well equipped kitchen and a high quality queen sized bed and an en suite bedroom.
The whole apartment is open to our guests and exclusively for your use.
Parking is available with prior agreement in the parking lot on-site. Parking is limited so please let us know if you need a parking spot.
The neighbourhood has many fitness resources (TaiChi centre, outdoor roller/ice skating oval, Olympic size swimming pool, bouldering cafe). There are lots of good cafe's and restaurants nearby. There is a craft brewery, artisanal delicatessen and many artist run galleries and shops nearby. And nothing in downtown Halifax is more than a comfortable walk away so the list of things to do includes deep sea fishing, whale watching and sailing cruises on the Halifax Waterfront, theatre, live music, pubbing and clubbing in the downtown and lots of shops and restaurants catering to a wide range of interests and tastes. Halifax is home to six universities and so has a large and vibrant student scene (closest is NSCAD our fine arts university - so many artists reside in the area). The house is located in an urban residential neighbourhood, which is diverse, friendly, colourful, generous and accepting of others.
The house is located within a two minute walk to major bus routes 1,6,7 and 10. The train/bus station is a 20 minute walk away but there are several city bus lines passing on Gottingen Street (a couple minutes walk away) and the airport bus stops at nearby hotels (~10 minute walk). Casino Taxi and Yellow Cab are usually very quick to pick you up from the house to get where you need to go.

This was a perfect little home away from home - we stayed for 3 nights and had a great experience! The place was cozy, clean and we had no issues checking in. It’s close to downtown. We would 💯 stay here again! Thanks guys!
The property was as described. Hosts were proactive regarding check in and checkout . Location was great for exploring harbour area. Kitchen was very good. I would stay here again.
This small suite was the perfect little gem tucked away right near downtown. Everything we wanted to do was either within walking distance or a short bus ride. Great for seeing downtown Halifax.
We (two old friends 69 and 70) really liked staying here. We walked everywhere we went - downtown to the Maritime Museum and shopping, nearby to the natural history museum and the Citadel and around the neighborhood. It was good to have a kitchen to make our own coffee/tea and toast in the morning and our supper after sightseeing during the day. We would stay here again.
Great property close to downtown and popular destinations
We stayed for 5 days and appreciated the 15 minute walk to the harbour, short walk to the Cotadel, Commons, and public gardens. The unit was comfortable and air conditioning was very much appreciated as temps were close to 30 during our stay. We had everything we needed and Kevin was very responsive! We would definitely stay again.
Perfect for two people. Reasonable walking distance to core and museums, Neptune Theatre, etc. Hosts were very helpful and followed up on any requests we had

We really enjoyed how quite this location was. It was very comfortable and had all the amenities. Easy 15 minute walk to downtown and close to shopping and restaurants. It was great to have our week stay at the same time as the GP Sailing competition in Halifax harbour. Lots to see and do. Would highly recommend this.
We were so happy to have somewhere to stay right in the middle of Halifax. We were able to walk wherever we wanted to go. In addition to the wonderful location, the apartment itself was clean and homey, everything was easy to find and use while we were there. It was so nice a relaxing for our evenings. I’d definitely stay there again.
This apartment is set in an ideal location for exploring in Halifax. Our stay wasn't long, but we really got a taste for the artistic and friendly vibe that sets the tone of the whole city. Yes, we saw the historic sites as well. All within walking distance. The host was excellent.
Great area, close to everything we needed. Kevin was helpful and prompt in solving our issue with getting into the suite, and then with providing extra bedding for us. Parking was a little tricky. Internet was quick, shower was hot, bed was comfy! Would stay again for sure!
Pros: Location, parking, amenities, arrival instructions, and size were all good. We were able to walk pretty much everywhere and felt safe in the location. Temperature was good, and it was nice to have fans for individual needs. Surprisingly good windows in the living area for a basement unit.
Cons: Unit could have been cleaner on arrival. Hopefully our experience was a one-off but surfaces and floors needed attention. Intermittent issues with the WIFI cutting out.
Overall a pleasant stay in a walkable city.
There was no soap in bathroom, no dish soap in kitchen. 1 roll of toilet paper for 2 people for 1 week.
Nothing in the neighborhood and a good 20 minute walk to downtown. It was a basement appartment with no air conditioning and only 1 window, which you had to close at night.
