Super cool property, and a great place to stay during my wedding weekend! Hosts were very communicative and friendly, and were very gracious about a lamp being broken during our stay.

The property, hosts, accommodations, and communications were absolutely exceptional. The home is incredibly interesting and charming, and the location is central to most of Galveston’s best attractions, including an easy walk to the beach. The hosts went out of their way to make the stay as easy and enjoyable as possible for our large group. They were easy to communicate with and responded quickly to questions throughout our visit. I really do hope to have the opportunity to stay here again.

We had an amazing stay and would absolutely book here again! The host was incredibly friendly, responsive, and communicative throughout the entire process, which made everything smooth and stress-free. The location was perfect and super convenient to everything we needed. It was especially great being so close to the beach and pier — both were within walking distance, if you can handle the heat , which made it even better. The home was comfortable, well-kept, and truly added to making our trip memorable. Highly recommend staying here!

The house was conveniently located close to many Galveston points of interest. The walk to the beach was short and the home was well outfitted with beach amenities. We especially appreciated the large kitchen. Everyone seemed to hang out there. The host was very responsive and provided great information. Our stay was excellent.

We had an excellent stay at this beautiful historic home. Our three generations were able to comfortably enjoy all the spaces. It was very conveniently located near the family wedding venues we attended, as well as walking distance to the beach.The children loved the ping pong table in the playroom and the adults gathered in the main room for watching the FIFA games in between wedding events and beach time. The host is very quick to respond when we had questions.

This home was the perfect place to make memories with family ! The house is big enough to spread out but have some many gathering areas to commune and spend time together. Inside , outside it just supports quality time ! We loved sitting on the porch in the morning, afternoon and into the night talking and hanging out. We had meals at all the dining areas and played competitive cards games filled with laughter and commentary! The host was amazing ! Helpful, informative, and nice ! Definitely will book again and a 10/10’recommend !

The kitchen was more than what we needed and would be perfect for larger groups. The beds were very comfortable, linen super soft. The location could not be beat, close to restaurants, beach and the Strand.

The house was perfect for our size group. Large rooms to congregate, and numerous small rooms for smaller groups and private time. We loved the wonderful porch area that provided cool breezes in the morning and evening. The house was located in the middle of all our activities. The house was very interesting from an historical perspective and had an interesting layout which was fun to explore.Exceptional communication and attention from the Owners before and during our stay.

Sadly, driving away from this beautiful house where we and our 4 kids and their kids and their grandkids stayed and had a joyous 4 days. Close enough to the beach and tons of beds and gathering areas. The doors need some work- won’t stay closed, and the bathrooms were a little fewer than we would have wanted - but they worked out well enough, too. I called the owners several times and they were always helpful, and more patient than I deserved. Being 76 years old, if I had known how much I would have been going up and down stairs, I might not have rented it. But I’m glad I didn’t know because I’m glad we rented it, and God graced me through it.

We had a large family gathering at this beautiful home and really loved it. Many common areas for lounging, big beautiful kitchen to prepare meals, and plenty of beds for the whole crew. Would stay again! Very receptive hosts made everything easy.

Enjoyed a memorable time, soaking up the hot sun at the beach, watching the fireworks and the rides at the Piet, the slides at the waterpark, and returning home to our spacious and family-friendly home!

If I could give an 11 rating I would! This house is AMAZING! We had a large family for Dickens on the Strand and it was fantastic. It was easy for everyone to get around and still have their own space. Highly recommended!
