The holiday house "Anno Dazumal, as in grandpa's time" is located in Klingenthal on a permeable forest and meadow property on the Scheibenberg with a view of the Aschberg. This is an ideal starting point for hiking, cycling and skiing.

The listed residential building from 1820, in typical Vogtland wooden plank construction, has been lovingly renovated and offers modern comfort. Mostly real wood and natural stone were processed, which make the house cozy and maintain the original flair from grandpa's time.

The house offers 3 separate apartments for 1 to 6 people each with living room / dining room, kitchen, bedrooms, loft and shower / toilet. The maximum occupancy is 14 people.
The apartments are comfortably equipped and have a kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic hob with oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, central heating, underfloor heating in the bathroom, fireplace, flat-screen TV, audio system.

The house is located on a 2500 sqm, open forest and meadow land and offers plenty of space to play for our little guests.
Outside there are terraces with seating, a barbecue area and a covered patio as well as 2 parking spaces.

The hiking and cross-country skiing network can be reached in the immediate vicinity. The ski area in Mühlleithen is approx. 5 minutes by car and the neighboring ski area in Bublava (Czech Republic) is only 5 km away.
The holiday home is easily accessible in every season, even in the winter months no four-wheel drive vehicle is necessary. The Vogtland is probably one of the most beautiful low mountain landscapes in Germany. Countless attractions invite you to marvel, to become active yourself and to discover. With the Vogtland Panoramaweg, the Höhensteig Klingenthal and the Kammweg Vogtland-Erzgebirge, the Vogtland has quality hiking trails and a hiking network of 1500 km. The Vogtland was already voted Germany's most popular hiking region in 2005. Of course you can also explore the Erzgebirge / Vogtland nature park by bike.

The holiday region has a network of trails of 300 km, which is ideal for beginners but also for professionals. The Kammloipe (36 km), which is only approx. 1 km from the holiday home, runs on the mountain ridge from Schöneck to Johanngeorgenstadt and is one of the longest and most snow-reliable cross-country trails in Germany. It has many cross-country trails and was awarded the “Excellent Trail” rating by the German Ski Association.
But alpine skiers also get their money's worth. For beginners, the practice slope in Mühlleithen (5 minutes by car from the holiday home) is available and if you want a little more action, the 7 lifts and 1 chair lift in Bublava are just 5 km away.
The cross-country trails and downhill slopes are also well prepared for winter sports enthusiasts in the Schöneck ski world.
If you want it romantic, you can enjoy the winter landscape on a horse-drawn carriage ride.
