Beautiful waterfront home in a gated community on the river with a pier and a private boat dock. This beauty is located in the Fairfield harbor gated neighborhood with so many amenities. Enter through the front door and head upstairs to a ranch style house on stilts overlooking the beautiful Northwest creek. Walk outside to an amazing screened in porch with a deck and beautiful views of the sunset. Enjoy the game room downstairs, an outdoor kitchen, a huge deck, an outdoor shower and yard space to play games. This house is designed for outdoor living. Enjoy the safety of a gated neighborhood that includes a restaurant at the marina, a golf course multiple parks for kids, tennis courts, dog park and so many walking/biking trails.

COMMUNITY AMENITIES: Broad Creek Recreation Center (2 miles away), indoor pool & hot tub, outdoor pool, fitness center, pickleball, tennis & basketball courts, walking paths, parks, restaurants, marinas & Harbour Pointe Golf Club (addt’l fee paid on-site). The community center offers a family pass for 11.00 per day and 8.00 per day for an individual.

Unfortunately, it took a couple of days to determine the cause and get the service fully restored, but we were actively working to resolve the problem as quickly as possible. We also wanted to clarify one detail from the review: this listing is a private, entire home—not an apartment—so guests enjoy the full house and all of its amenities during their stay. This home is better than the listing describes. We spent a week enjoying New Bern and the surrounding area. Coming home to a peaceful well stocked home made our vacation so much better. We had small children and having the toys and games there for their enjoyment was such an added bonus. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are so comfortable. The view is gorgeous and incredibly peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed pickle ball as well as the rec center. Our family loved it so much we had to add an additional night to our stay!

Lovely waterfront property

We had an amazing visit to this treasure right on the creek. Beautiful mornings and evenings spent in the screened in porch. Time out on the dock watching the fish. The house was well stocked for kids- lots of books and toys. Definitely plan to return next time we visit the new Bern area!

This is a great location, especially if you have younger children! Tons of children's books, outside tire swings, trampoline plus clubhouse amenities! The game room was nice but has a mildewed smell to it. The barbecue area needs some attention, but the porch is lovely! Overall we loved the place and were able to rent on short notice! Wendy is a wonderful host and is very responsive!

My siblings and I surprised my mom for her 60th birthday by renting this place, and it couldn’t have been a better experience. The pics don’t do it justice, it was such a comfortable and enjoyable stay! We loved it so much that we will be looking for this one again next time we visit the area. Great Getaway

The house was very clean and comfortable. We loved the screened in porch with the view of the river. Downstairs there is a great place to grill outside and a fun room with a pool table, corn hole game, etc. The kitchen was great for making breakfast or dinner. The bedrooms are comfortable and decorated nicely. The hosts could be contacted easily and answered our questions quickly. We would enjoy a future stay at this house.

We came to New Bern to celebrate our son’s wedding, and after a long drive from Maryland, your home was the perfect place to relax—it truly felt like home! With our big family, it’s not easy to find a place that fits us all comfortably, but your home was absolutely perfect. It had everything we needed and more.Our new daughter-in-law is from New Bern, so we’ll definitely be back to visit often—and we’ll absolutely be staying here again! The property has so much to offer, and we really appreciated the chance to unwind and enjoy some quality time together.

Good location.

Needed spring cleaning. Outside house mildew, needed to be swept and the building debris picked up. Upstairs screen needed repaired. No water in hot tub, grilling area very dirty. There was lots of food in kitchen most of it 3-5 years old. It all should be thrown out. Owner very nice.

My husband blew the deck and the outdoor furniture off the day of the stay. The pollen is so bad this time of year. The hot-tub is not listed on the rental as an amenity because the hot-tub at the recreation center is available to the guests. I will definitely check the food in the pantry. This rental was a back to back rental and the people before you may have left it, so thank you so much for the heads up as I will make sure to check it. So many people leave extra food and we always see it as a bonus for our guests just in case they need it for some reason. I appreciate all of your comments because we take reviews very seriously as they serve as constructive criticism for future improvements. I hope overall that you enjoyed your stay!!

The house and property exceeded our expectations. If you want to experience a quieter vacation close to an adorable, historic town, this is a fantastic rental. The kids were never bored...fishing from the dock, building a puzzle, playing games or shooting pool. The house was beautiful. The host was amazing and very upfront with us. We were impressed.
