Villa Sand by Me is located in a prime location in the south of Cape Coral. The beach of Cape Coral can be reached in a few minutes with the available bicycles or with your car. Shops, restaurants and doctors are within walking distance.

The generous pool deck with a 4 burner gas grill invites you to cool off in the pool, to relax and to enjoy a cozy barbecue evening. The hedge provides complete privacy at the pool.

There are many fish in the canal – for fishermen the opportunity to make a nice catch! With the in-house kayaks you can explore the immediate area from the water. You can also book the modern motorboat for your stay, partly or all the time.

If you do not feel like sitting outside in the evening, you will find various inviting corners in the open living / dining area to relax. Read a good book in a reading chair or spend an evening for two on the big comfortable couch.

Free Wi-Fi internet access is available. Our lockable office also offers you the opportunity to do the necessary things undisturbed while on holiday.

The interior of the villa feels very homely, at the same time generous and very comfortable.
The modern and newly equipped kitchen invites you to cook together and to linger.
The kitchen has all technical aids and is modernly equipped. A Nespresso coffee machine with milk frother is available – please bring the capsules of your choice from home!

Outside at the pool deck there is plenty of space to relax. The heated pool has both electric and solar heating (with cover) – always warm water, even in winter!

On the terrace there is also a TV available – for a nice evening on the TV with velvety air!
The barbecue gas grill by the pool guarantees the best US steaks.

Two beach bikes are available at your own risk free of charge.

The boat dock has a remote controlled boat lift. (very handy if you come back from a boat tour and no one on land can serve the lift)
Access to the river (about 45 minutes) and Gulf of Mexico; a boat can be rented as an option – we can highly recommend.

For activities with the whole family, the large water park "Sun Splash Waterpark" and the beach are nearby.

Wonderful Home!!

My husband and I came down to Florida for a mini vacation! We enjoyed the house so much!! The house was perfect for us - close to all our favorite restaurants. The house was spotless and the pool was extremely refreshing! We will definitely book this home again soon.

Nice place

The place was nice. They said that the pool was heated, that you could swim in the winter.They say you can use the grill, but if it runs out on you, you have to pay for a whole new one. They claimed that there was 4 bicycles, there was only 2 and both had flat tires. They charged by the people, but one person wasn't able to make it, but still charged for them. For the most part, it was a great stay.

Would not recommend

When we first arrived, the lanai was covered in spider webs and spiders! You could not even walk by the pool without walking through a web! I had to remove dozens of webs with spiders just to use the lanai. The towels smelled moldy and were rough. There were no wash clothes available. I guess you need to bring your own. There was an over zealous neighbor who would yell at us when sitting on the dock. I was on a work call when she decided to yell across the canal for sitting on the dock. She did this numerous times. She was yelling to us to not go in the canal. Sitting on the dock prompted her yelling. The internet is terrible. Don't plan on working from this house if you plan on using the internet. Also, the televisions do not work either. They say they are "antena" televisions. Not sure what that means. Because the internet connection is so lousy when you try and watch the Samsung live television it freezes. They do not have a cable/streaming service. Unless you log into your own account and they already have the app on the television, you are out of luck. They advertise as a four bedroom. It is not. One is an office with no closet or dresser. There are only two dressers provided. You will have to live out of your luggage if stuck in one of the rooms with no dresser/closet. They also advertise the house as sleeps eight. They charge you an overage charge for anything above two people😳 This makes no sense- the house is advertised four bedroom sleeps eight.

Clean and elegant

The property was clean and nicely decorated. Pool solar cover was in garage and property manager didn't put it on as requested. Difficult to communicate with vbro. Had to ask repeatedly for copde for opening house. Did not get the email from owners.

Cold pool

Enjoyed the property very much. However, this statement from the listing is NOT true. "The pool has solar heating (with cover) - always warm water, even in winter!" The pool was too cold for us to use and we had 80 degree days. Very disappointing.

Fantastic Get away!!

What a great time we had!! Property was beautiful and boating was so much fun! Home is set up for entertaining with its open floor plan. Beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed, and everything felt like home. Property management was extremely easy to work with and very accommodating. We rented a boat for our entire stay and the value is unbeatable. Would recomend V.R.C.C. properties/rentals to anyone and will be booking again with V.R.C.C. Thank you for the hospitality and lettings us enjoy seeing what Cape Coral had to offer!

Excelente casa

Todo estuvo perfecto, tuvimos cuando llegamos un problema con el código de entrada y enseguida nos dieron otro y pudimos entrar a la casa. Igualmente en primer día en internet no funcionaba bien y vinieron rápidamente los administradores y al otro día estuvo perfecto. Nos tocaron algunos días frescos y la temperatura de la piscina estaba también fresca. La máquina de hacer hielo de la heladera no funciona. Nuestros días en esta casa fueron fantásticos.

Exceeded our expectations. Clean and up to date

As we drove up and saw the beautiful tiled roof we started to get excited. Then we walked in and it just kept getting better. They have everything you want and need. Everything was clean and updated. The pool area is beautifully landscaped and they have thickets of tasteful palm trees that separate you from the next door neighbors. Easy, quick access to all the beaches and restaurants and the Cape Coral area is great. We would definitely come back to this house again.

Amazing stay!

We had an amazing stay! The house was beautiful and accompanied all of our needs, very spacious open floor plan. 5 adults, 2 kids. Everyone had enough room. The way the patio doors open up to the pool was another amazing feature, along with the pool it’s self. High recommend renting the boat with the house. Though it did take some time to get out to the ocean from the canal (about 20 mins), the boat cruising was very fun. Would highly recommend, if you have a party of 2 or 7, the house was ideal, very clean, provided everything needed for the week, management very easy to get ahold of and very pleasant. 10/10 would stay again!

Rested and RESTORED

We had many goals for this very purposeful trip and I can honestly say that we have met them ALL. We enjoyed the cleanliness, space, amenities, sense of peace, sunshine, main attractions and so much more. Property management addressed our questions/ concerns appropriately. 30th Birthday well spent!!! 🥳 We hope to share out experience with others. Cape Coral has not seen the last of us! Relaxing Getaway

We totally enjoyed our time here. The property had everything we needed. Very clean. Sitting by the pool relaxing was just perfect! The management was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend this property.

Lovely House

We came to Florida to get away from Minnesota for a short stay. The home was extremely clean and very nice. There were actually 4 rooms with beds which was not noted on the listing - an office was converted to a bedroom - which was a nice surprise. All of the beds were very comfortable. The property Management was extremely responsive - when we checked in we asked about a few items missing from the kitchen and they immediately provided them. Our adult kids loved using the kayaks in the canals and they are runners and found great running routes nearby. Two things to note: The pool really is too cold for swimming in January - even with the solar pool cover that was noted in the comments. Even with the cover on at all times, the pool did not get enough sun to warm it up. This did not, however, ruin our stay. Also - the adult kids were interested in the bikes noted in the listing and two of the 3 bikes had flat tires. The property management company was very responsive and attempted to fix the tires, but it did not work. We attempted to ride the bikes and had to return after a couple of blocks. Don't count on the bikes. Despite these comments - this home was spacious and comfortable and the perfect get-away.

Clean & modern home

Stay was amazing 😉

Awesome area ! Loved the kayaks ! Lani was amazing ! Pool water too cold to use in February for us but we enjoyed the covered porch area ! Dock by water was very relaxing. Close to Sanibel island ! Good restaurants. Definitely will be back ! Nice Neighborhood and friendly people. Walked the area every day and felt safe . House was beautiful loved the layout .

Great stay!

Beautiful home and location. One big detraction for us was pool is describe as having a solar cover and heated so you can enjoy year round even during winter. There was no solar cover and pool was not heated. We were here for nine days the first of February and were not able to enjoy pool at all. Water was quite cold. You are required to replace tank for grill if you empty it with a full one. You should bring your own toilet tissue.

Very clean and a great location for us but a couple negative traits

This place was very clean and it a quiet location with access to many attractions such as beaches, restaurants, nature preserves, etc. However, part of the appeal of this property was the access to the canal, the heated pool, and the available bikes. Although our weather wasn't great during our stay, the pool was cold. It was difficult to know for certain if it was indeed heated or not. It felt like it was not heated. Also, there were 4 bikes in the garage. One had a wheel removed and the other three had flat tires. There was a pump to fill the tires, but the tires did not hold air. Thus, the bikes were not an option to use. Lastly, in the description, it states that you will be charged for the KWH while in the rental. There was nobody there to confirm the measure at the start of the stay and nobody to check us out so we are not sure how they determine this. We have not received a bill for this so maybe they decided not to have this charge.

Beautiful propety in a quiet neighboorhood.

We recently retired and wanted to go to a warmer climate to see what it is like. I looked for properties in this general area to try it out. We lucked out by choosing this one. It is very well kept as the pictures show. Some of the things I liked most: the shower is neat the way it is set up. There is no door, you enter from either side of the tub and it is wide open. There are windows that allow a lot of light in but they aren't see thru. There is a large jetted tub that is very nice. The bed in the master bedroom is very comfortable great mattress, very nice sheets and the pillows were so comfortable we ordered some when we got home. I used the grill once and it worked well. I had to change the tank as the one in it was empty but there was a full one in the garage. There are bikes in the garage but I didn't have time to use. The layout of the kitchen and living room was really nice. Open concept so you can use the kitchen and watch TV at the same time. The property is in a quiet neighborhood but only a few miles form grocery stores, nice restaurants, the yacht club, beach, etc. Nice place. We likely will return. Try it, you'll like it.
