Quiet, idyllic and with a unique view of the playful coasts of the southern Argolida, the small islands of Psili and Koronida and the sea is the comfortably furnished Villa Myrto with its own pool. Salanti Bay is located in this beautiful corner of south-western Argolida, close to the pretty harbour town of Porto Cheli and the charming village of Kranidi. Above this beautiful bay on a gentle slope is the neighbourhood of Aghios Ioannis. What awaits the visitor here is a clear sea, several small bathing bays, unforgettable sunset experiences, a well-kept rural idyll, several summer houses, olive groves, Mediterranean surroundings and a charming, hilly landscape.

The tasteful Villa Myrto with pool extends over 2 floors and offers its guests plenty of space and the appropriate comfort for a relaxing holiday.
Completely enclosed, well-kept and partly terraced garden plot on a slight slope above the sea, particularly suitable for families with small children. On the ground floor is the spacious, light-flooded living/dining area with open-plan kitchen corner. Adjacent to the living room are 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and 1 guest WC. One of the bedrooms has direct access to its own terrace with marvellous pool and sea views. Direct access from the living area to a terrace on two sides, partly covered and facing the sea, with fantastic views of the sea and the surrounding countryside. To the side of the house is the terraced BBQ area and one level lower is the garden plot and the pool. On this level, directly in front of the pool, the 4th bedroom of the villa with its own outside entrance is located on the lower ground floor due to the slope of the plot. A sitting area with adjoining kitchenette and a private bathroom complete the picture of the separate bedroom.

The approx. 40 square metre freshwater pool (8.5 x 4.5 m, depth 1.10-2.10 m, not heated, in operation from 1 May to 30 November) provides refreshment and bathing fun for guests.

The beautiful Villa Myrto is ideal for a relaxing beach holiday with family or friends as well as for visiting the ancient sites of the Peloponnese and exploring the Argosaronic islands of Spetses and Hydra. The famous theatre of Epidavros, Schliemann's excavations in Mycenae and the remains of the palace of Tyrins are nearby excursion destinations.

We loved our stay at Myrto. Elen was very welcoming and the house is comfortable, clean and homely, with all amenities required. The view is even better than the pictures suggest. A quiet area, ideal for relaxation. Nice little towns on the south end of the coast to visit for shopping and restaurants, and trips to islands. Good access for ancient sites Epidauros and Mycenae. Nice little quiet beach for morning and evening swims 5 minutes walk. Most of all the view of sea and mountains! Thank you Elen. Justin and family.

The house was great. Even perfect. All bed are very qualitative, Even the one in the basement studio. The pool was great. We did not go to the nearby beach. We regreated a bit the location. Last year we were much Closer to Porto Heli (5min drive). From Myrto house you nées to drive at least 30-35 min to go somewhere. For this reason we won’t come back

Great quiet villa

The villa was perfect for us, we were a family of 5 and a friend. Our friend stayed in the clean and perfect annexe and was grateful to have a bedroom, bathroom and living space away from our noisy boys! Her living space has a fridge and stove so perfect for a couple and a family. The villa was amazing with the most spectacular views. Beds were comfy, living space perfect with a tv, dining table and perfect sized kitchen. The pool was perfect with floats and life aids for children. Booking the villa was incredibly easy and the host couldn't do enough to help us, welcoming us with a tasty homemade cake, fruit and local vegetables and giving us some homemade olive oil and oregano when we left! Don't be alarmed by the small track leading to the property it just adds to the villa being away from it all giving that incredibly rural feel. There is a very small beach that my family walked to 200 metres away which we were the only people there. Just over 1km away is another bigger pebbled beach and a great taverna that we ate some lovely fresh seafood. For supermarkets, we drove to Kranidi to a Lidl and a MyMarket which took around 20-25 minutes. We would also recommend travelling to Porto Cheli which is lively with good restaurants, markets and we hired a boat for the day there too. My family would recommend this quiet property and would stay again.

Wir haben über den Monatswechsel Juli / August 14 Tage mit 4 Erwachsenen und 2 Kindern hier verbracht. Wir hatten das Haus 2019 schon einmal gemietet und waren damals bereits begeistert. Das Haus ist für 8 Personen perfekt, viel Platz, bequeme Betten, gute Klimaanlagen, überall Insektenschutz. Wir haben nichts vermisst, die Ausstattung ist super. Der Pool (groß und tief!) wurde jeden Tag genutzt. Die Fahrstrecken (20-35 min) zum Einkaufen, Essen gehen und Bummeln waren uns bekannt, dafür ist der Ort Salanti herrlich ruhig. Die Vermieterin Elen ist immer erreichbar wenn es Fragen gibt, sie vermittelte uns eine Bootstour mit einem lokalen Fischer, hat uns leckeres Olivenöl besorgt und als wir anreisten waren Getränke im Kühlschrank, Obst, Gemüse und Kuchen stand für uns bereit - so toll!

Im Ferienhaus Myrto haben wir (Familie mit fünf Erwachsenen) eine sehr schönen Urlaub verbracht. Das Haus ist großzügig geschnitten, sehr gut ausgestattet und hat sowohl vom großen Balkon/der Terrasse als auch vom Pool aus einen wunderschönen Blick aufs Meer. In wenigen 100 m entfernt sind mehrere hübsche kleine Buchten, die man gut zu Fuß erreichen kann. Wenn man Glück hat, hat man eine solche Bucht auch ganz für sich alleine, vor allem in der Früh. Das Haus ist - nur mit einzelnen anderen Ferienhäusern in der Nähe - etwas abgelegen, für Einkäufe etc. braucht man Auto. Dafür hat man aber absolute Ruhe und Privatsphäre. Die Vermieterin Eleni war sehr herzlich, hat uns mit einem vollen Kühlschrank und selbst gebackenem Kuchen erwartet und war jederzeit für uns erreichbar. Vielen Dank dafür!

Die Villa Myrto liegt etwas abseits. Eleni und der gute Geist "Omar" waren immer sofort zur Stelle. Ab Ende September ist das einzig fußläufig zu erreichende Restaurant geschlossen. Die Villa ist sehr schön eingerichtet und auch die Küche ist gut ausgestattet.

Erholsamer Urlaub in der Villa Myrto. Nette Begrüßung durch die Besitzerin Eleni. Erste Getränke, Obst & Gemüse standen am Anreisetag im Kühlschrank. Das Haus ist sehr gut ausgestattet, geräumig, sauber und sehr gepflegt. Den Ausblick von der Terrasse aufs Meer haben wir jeden Morgen genossen. Der Pool ist ausreichend groß und verschaffte trotz der Hitze eine Abkühlung. Die Beschreibung im Internet findet man vor Ort 1:1 vor. Der kleine Kiesstrand (runde Steine, keine Seeigel) ist fußläufig erreichbar, das Wasser glasklar. Keine Liegen oder Sonnenschirme vor Ort. Die Taverne Costa Bianca war Spitze. Die Inhaber sehr aufmerksam, das Team sehr gut!!! Typische griechische Küche, hervorragender Fisch zu fairen Preisen. Lamm und Moussaka stehen nicht auf der Karte, werden aber bei Nachfrage für den Folgetag angeboten. Weitere Tavernen sind mit dem Auto in Didima, Ermioni, Kilada oder Porto Heli zu finden. Nächster Supermarkt, Bäcker ist in Didima vorhanden. Größere Supermärkte in Richtung Kranidi. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Villa Myrto uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Meine Frau und ich verbrachten im Juni 2024 drei grandiose Wochen in der Villa >Myrto Salanti.< Unsere ausgesprochen sympathische Vermieterin empfing uns warmherzig als wären wir alte Bekannte. Wegen der Hitzewelle hatte sie umsichtig einen größeren Vorrat an Getränken bereitgestellt und uns zudem mit Früchten und selbst gebackenem Naschwerk erfreut. Haus und Grundstück sind überaus gepflegt. Die Inneneinrichtung zeugt von erlesenem Geschmack. Die Ausstattung der Küche ist perfekt - es fehlt an nichts. Es gibt keine direkten Nachbarn, Störungen sind also nicht zu erwarten. Eine Taverne befindet sich vier Autominuten entfernt. Der Abschied von unserer Vermieterin und ihrer exquisiten Villa >Myrto Salanti< fiel uns schwer. Eine weitere Buchung unsererseits wird nicht allzu lange auf sich warten lassen.

Die Villa Myrto bietet ein erstklassiges Ferienerlebnis mit einem traumhaften Pool und atemberaubendem Panoramablick. Ideal für Spaziergänge und kleinere Wanderungen in der Umgebung, überzeugt das Haus mit komfortablen Betten und geschmackvollen Möbeln. Der Service der Gastgeber ist hervorragend, und für den ersten Tag standen sogar Lebensmittelvorräte wie Obst, Gemüse, Bier, Olivenöl und Myrto bereit. Eine rundum gelungene Unterkunft für einen erholsamen Urlaub. Wir werden wieder kommen Vielen Dank!!! Siegfried und Familie

Wir haben unsere Zeit in der Villa Myrto genossen. Mrs Elena hat uns sehr nett begrüsst und uns sogar mit ersten Lebensmittel versorgt, vielen Dank. Das Haus ist ruhig gelegen. Zu Fuss erreicht man in 5 Min einen kleinen Strand. Die Taverna in der Nähe ist sehr empfehlenswert. Die nächst grössere Ortschaft ist rund 20 Min mit dem Auto erreichbar.

Wie schon von den anderen Gästen beschrieben, ist es ein sehr schönes Haus mit allem Inventar, hochwertiger Einrichtung , kompletter Küche und sehr sauber. Es liegt sehr ruhig mit weitem Blick über das Meer und die Buchten, sowie zwei Inseln. Auch Pool und Garten sind sehr gepflegt. Der Kiesstrand (angenehm runde Steine, keine Seeigel) liegt nahe und ist geschützt und ganz sauber. Man muss sich darauf einstellen, dass die nächsten größeren Supermärkte einige Kilometer entfernt sind, und der Weg dorthin über Bergstraßen, teils mit Schlaglöchern, führt. Ebenso für die Wege nach Norden zu Epidauros, Mykene, Korinth etc. - aber das Haus ist ja so schön, dass man evtl gar nicht weg will. Die Begrüßung und Betreuung vor Ort war sehr freundlich. Wir würden gerne wieder kommen.

Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, alles war blitzsauber, innen und außen. Pool und Garten sehr gepflegt - exakt wie beschrieben. Trotz Verspätung freundlicher und herzlicher Empfang, alles wurde gut erklärt. Wir haben uns sehr über den gefüllten Kühlschrank, das Obst, Olivenöl und den selbst gebackenen Kuchen gefreut. Von der Terasse aus bietet sich ein herrlicher Rundumblick. Aufgrund der Lage der Villa ist ein Auto unverzichtbar. Supermärkte findet man in Kranidi oder Porto Heli, etwa 20-30 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. In Gehweite (10 Minuten) ist eine hauptsächlich auf Fisch spezialisierte Taverne zu erreichen. Weitere Tavernen sind mit dem Auto in der Nähe von Didyma, in Kilada oder in Porto Heli zu finden. Sehenswürdigkeiten der Region, zB Mykene, Epidaurus oder Nafplion, sowie die mit der Fähre erreichbaren autofreien Inseln Spetses und Hydra sind gut erreichbar. Wir haben uns jedenfalls sehr wohlgefühlt und können die Villa uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

Alles ist genau wie von anderen Urlaubern beschrieben - blitzsauber, tolle Begrüßung durch die Vermieterin mit selbst gebackenem Kuchen, gefülltem Kühlschrank, für den Flug verpacktes Olivenölals Geschenk etc. Die Villa ist ein Traum für alle, die die Ruhe lieben; der Blick vom Bett direkt aufs Meer der Wahnsinn. Salanti bietet sich als Standort für Ausflüge in alle Richtungen an; wir waren in Nafplia, im antiken Theater von Epidaurus und dem dazugehörigen Fischerdörfchen, auf der Insel Spetses, in der Franchthihöhle und den Dolinen von Didima. Eine tolle Taverne direkt am Meer ist zu Fuß in 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Auch der Strand mit runden, kleinen Kiseln, den man in 5 Gehminuten von Haus erreicht, ist traumhaft schön. Wir waren selbst im August fast immer alleine, konnten beim Schnorcheln an den rötlichen Felsen links und rechts des Strandes Oktopusse, eine Muräne, Seesterne, Seeigel und natürlich Fische beobachten. In den Felsen nisten sogar Eisvögel, was für die Ruhe und Einsamkeit dort spricht. Wir würden die Villa uneingeschränkt jedem empfehlen, der die Ruhe und die Natur liebt.

Sehr schönes, gepflegtes Haus in absolut ruhiger Traumlage. Wunderbare Aussicht von allen Terrassen und vom Pool aufs Meer. Kleiner, quasi privater Strand mit glasklarem Wasser in 5 Min. zu Fuß erreichbar. Durch die separate Einliegerwohnung im Erdgeschoss viel Privatsphäre auch bei Belegung mit vielen Personen.

Villa Myrto verdient 10 Punkte. Nachdem wir schon viele Häuser in GR gemietet hatten, war dies das Haus mit dem schönsten Blick. Von der Terrasse und sogar vom Schlafzimmer im Bett Blick aufs Meer und den bunt beleuchteten Pool. Das Haus ist sehr geräumig, alles war blitzsauber, innen und außen. Pool und Garten liebevoll gepflegt, der zuständige Herr kam extra früh, um uns ja nicht zu stören, wir haben ihn aber immer begrüßen können. Eleni hat uns freundlich und herzlich empfangen, alles gezeigt und erklärt, und uns so mit vielen Sachen verwöhnt, dass wir richtig gerührt waren. Von dem, was sie für uns bereit gestellt hatte, haben wir tagelang gezehrt. Obst und Gemüse, Brot, Milch, Wasser, Gewürze, Öl (gleich eine ganze Flasche)plus einer vollen Kanne mit ihrem guten Olivenöl, und sogar ein selbst gebackener Kuchen. Kleine Geschenke, Marmelade und Salanti-Oregano. So nett undfürsorglich haben wir es noch nie erlebt. Das Haus ist riesengroß und wohl für mehrere Leute gedacht, aber wir haben die Freiräume genossen und geschätzt, auch den Frieden und die Ruhe ringsum. Nicht zu vergessen die nahe wunderschöne Kiesbucht mit glasklarem Wasser, ganz für uns alleine! Wir werden Eleni nicht vergessen und kommen vielleicht mal wieder. Ihr Abschiedsgeschenk, eine Flasche Olivenöl, flugtauglich verpackt, passte noch in unsere Taschen.
