Amazingly beautiful property
We meet friends from Florida enquiry year half way and this year we picked The Cypress House. We were not disappointed. Absolutely beautiful property and incredible house! More room than we knew what to do with. All the rooms were spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen and living area. We enjoyed fishing, a campfire and just relaxing. There were multiple things to do in the nearby towns of Ashburn and Cordele and we decided to take a trip up to Plains to visit Jimmy Carter's boyhood home. Our hosts were so accomodating and we felt totally recharged by the time our trip was over. This would be a great place to meet for a family reunion or just to relax by yourself. We look forward to returning next year.

Comfy little get away
We were in town for a race weekend at Cordele and we were happy to of found this place to have the whole family under one roof. Was perfect for all ages. Relaxing morning and evenings on the porch were excellent. Kids even enjoys some catch and release fishing. Certainly will stay again if we have another big race weekend up there.

Unhappy renter
The house is clean is the only good thing. My group drove 2 and a half hours to go fishing to arrive and read a sign that says CATCH AND RELEASE ONLY !! I spent 563.00 to play spades. It was false advertising ! I also have never had so many rules either, no eating except kitchen ,don't open closed bedroom doors, can't use washer and dryer without permission, don't move furniture. Worst rental ever !!!!

Peaceful and quiet
This is a fantastic rental. One bedroom and two baths on one side and four bedrooms and two baths on the other side of the kitchen/living area. There are two separate air conditioning units for each side of the house. The kitchen has everything you could ever desire for fixing a gourmet meal. Outside land is flat and well kept. There is an extra refrigerator in the double carport area. The hosts go way above and beyond to make absolutely sure your stay is as good as possible. The only thing you need to bring for your stay is yourself and what you want to eat. Everything else is provided.
