Wonderful opportunity to rent this original barn in Wainscott with farm views and ocean breezes. This 3-acre compound offers the main house with 4 bedrooms, 4 full baths, vaulted dining and living room with fireplace, open kitchen with breakfast nook, family room and fireplace, loft, master suite on second floor with doors leading out to a private deck, finished lower level with ping pong, gym, TV, game area and laundry room. The exterior of the property is professionally landscaped that includes a pond, heated pool, pool house, vegetable garden, detached 2 car garage and with a studio above. One can walk to the ocean, a stone's throw to a local farmer's market, and convenient to East Hampton and Bridgehampton.

Why they chose this property

I love Wainscott as it is pastoral and peaceful surrounded by many farms. At the same time it is centrally ocated in the Hamptons and very convenient and easy to get to Sag Harbor, Bridgehampton and East Hampton.
The renowned Seafood Shop is uip the road and one of the most popular farm stands is on the corner.

What makes this property unique

This home has a long history as it was originally a barn from Addison Vermont built in 1820. It was taken apart and reassembled in Wainscott. Additions were made and I completely renovated it a few years ago leaving the original structure intact.
