This beautiful lakefront retreat offers breathtaking water views, a serene setting, & convenient access to everything you need!

Pine Cone Cottage is a spacious 2,600 sq. ft property with 5 bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms.
The kitchen is stocked with all major appliances and utensils for homemade evening meals, as well as the essential coffee pot (regular drip coffee pot) for guests to enjoy with complimentary coffee from a local roastery to enjoy! There is a dining room table that comfortably seats 6 guests (4 chairs and a bench) and two additional bar stools.

The upstairs family room boasts great views of the lake, as well as comfortable seating in front of a stone fireplace. Enjoy walking out to the deck and listening to the morning loons while enjoying a cup of coffee or tea!

The downstairs family room provides a spacious and comfortable experience for all ages. There are games provided that will be sure to create instant laughs and lasting memories, as well as a newly added ping pong table!

In the master bedroom, there is a full-bath as well as a king size mattress and walk-in-closet.
The other four bedrooms provide a cozy and comfortable queen size mattress and closet space in each room.

There is a beautiful and spacious laundry room located right off of the main entrance door on the first floor.

The downstairs family room provides a spacious and comfortable experience for all ages. There is a ping pong table and games provided that will be sure to create instant laughs and lasting memories.

Outside deck includes a table and chairs, grill. A fire pit also available with ample firewood provided for use!
A dock with a bench to sit and enjoy the beautiful scenery and sounds of wildlife!

Great location in the area. Easy access to Pequot Lakes, Nisswa, and surrounding area. The home is a great fit for the 7 of us, with plenty of room for everyone to have their own room and area to relax. The games in the basement were a big hit with our 3 kids so that was awesome. The beach area was fun, but the lake just off the beach was very weedy. I know that’s not their fault but our kids didn’t venture too far out because of it. There is a boat rental that the owner refers you to and it is very reasonable and a very nice boat. The lake isn’t huge but is plenty big if you want to take leisurely boat rides and find an area to jump in and swim. Our kids loved this as well! One downside was the proximity to the highway, which can be loud if you’re sitting by the fire but it isn’t a heavily traveled highway so you can get used to it. Overall, a great place to stay and for the price, can’t beat it.

Great place!

The house was wonderful, plenty of room for each of us to have our own space, but lots of areas for us to enjoy together! The location of the property was not far from places to eat and enjoy :)

Great Girls Weekend Up North

We had a great time as a family. The place was clean, beds comfortable, as well as the seating areas in the living room and downstairs. We enjoyed a fire one night roasting hot dogs and smores. Thanks so much for the firewood. Thank you for a nice stay.

Fun and Relaxing by the Lake

Perfect for moms winter weekend away!

Family wedding in Nisswa

Our family needed a place to stay for a family wedding happening in Nisswa. It was only 4 miles away so it was convenient to the Catalyst event space. My grandkids loved the VRBO..especially the ping pong table! Plenty of space for the entire family of 10. Would stay again!

Enjoyable time at the lake

We enjoyed the property and amenities such as the dock and kayaks. House is very well kept. We caught fish and watched a family of loons. Traffic across the bay is slightly noisy but you get used to it. Had an excellent time. We would stay again.

We wanted to share this hidden gem with many travelers and encourage exploration of what the BLA has to offer. We hope you find it peaceful, beautiful and relaxing during your stay!

It is a quiet dead end road with only a handful of neighbors on the peninsula.

What makes this property unique

This location and proximity to so many local BLA attractions is few and far between. This cabin is right on the lake, yet only minutes from downtown Nisswa and Pequot Lakes, MN. Enjoy the cabin year round with various activities and events depending on the season!
