The Butterfly Sanctuary: We are doing our part to restore natural habitat for one of Oregon’s most endangered species: the Silverspot Butterfly. The front of the cabin is a meadow specially designed to house and feed these beautiful creatures during the summer months.
The Agate Hunter’s Advantage: Bob Creek Beach is one of the few spots where the "gravel" stays year-round, making it a prime spot for agate hunting even when other nearby beaches are sanded in.
The Marbled Murrelet Habitat: The property is on the Cape Perpetua Marine Reserve, home to the endangered Marbled Murrelet. These charming seabirds can be spotted bobbing on the waves at Bob Creek Beach, or flying overhead towards their nests in the old-growth forest.
PLEASE NOTE THESE KEY DETAILS:
The Bob Creek Cabin shares the property and a common driveway with a separate, completely detached “Bob Creek Studio” next to it, which is also a SeaNik rental. The Bob Creek Cabin and the Bob Creek Studio each have dedicated VRBO listings. The two rentals also have separate parking areas; 2 vehicles are permitted for The Bob Creek Cabin.

We enjoyed our stay, the house was perfect for our family. We were looking forward to the wood fireplace and it was not working. We were bummed, but Nikki responded immediately. We will stay again.

Thanks for your kind review - I just want to mention that the woodstove has been repaired. It's a small stove and a guest tried to stuff too large of wood in there and broke in panels in the inside. Please note: The woodstove was originally put in for emergencies as there is a mini split that adequately heats the Cabin. We supply a small amount of presto bricks that are sized to fit the stove for each guest. I am so happy to heat that you will be back, thanks for leaving the Cabin in top notch shape!
We were very happy with our stay. The location was perfect for visiting the area and such a beautiful setting. We walked along the creek, and loved being right across from the beach for evening strolls and watching the sun set. The house was immaculate with very comfortable beds and everything we needed for our stay. Definitely recommend!
Nicely remodeled home with tasteful design and furnishings. Very well equipped with ample kitchen utensils/dishes, bedding, towels, and other supplies. Lovely location on a beautiful section of the Oregon Coast.
This property is amazing!!!! I actually relaxed! I never relax!!!! Thank you! I love the wood floors. Can you tell me what kind of floors these are? Thank you for having us. We three sisters had a lovey time.

Thanks so much for your review! I am delighted to hear that you were able to relax and enjoy some respite at the Bob Creek Cabin. The floors are DuChateau - Old Dutch, they have it in hardwood and vinyl. Hope that you can come back and stay with us again in the future!
The house was lovely and we had a wonderful stay. The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking and the closets had hangers and drawers for clothes. The area is beautiful! As the listing states, there is no cell phone service. There is wifi that is usable but pretty slow. There was a landline phone in case of emergency. We had never played shuffle board before but had a blast with it! Instructions were included in the house binder.

Hi Katherine,
I am so happy to hear that you had a wonderful stay! This is the first time someone has mentioned that the wifi was slow, so I will look into that. Glad you had a blast with the shuffle board - Hope that you can return again in the future!
This was such a beautiful home with all of the details covered. The location couldn't have been better and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was perfect for our family of four. We will definitely stay again.
Great cabin. The exterior looks quite rustic, while the interior was new/updated. Lots of natural light, with blinds available for privacy.
Plenty of space for our young family of 4. Had a good amount of dishes, towels, and was well stocked with the necessities such as dishwasher detergent, laundry soap, TP, paper towels, etc.
The grounds were beautiful and very natural, with lots of trees and some blooming rhododendrons. We went in springtime and much of the back yard was quite marshy. So we spent some time playing and running around in the front yard/driveway area, which was much more dry and solid. The creek is very close to the house, a few steps down a trail, just next to the driveway. The "creek" was also very high and fast (more like a river), but the neighbor mentioned that it is much more mellow in summer. Was pleasant sitting in the hot tub, under a whimsical and twisting evergreen, and listening to the creek running nearby.
The beach across the road was mostly rocky tidepools, not much for long walks on a sandy beach. Found a few sea creatures in the tidepools. Other beaches nearby (short car ride) offered sandy stretches. FYI, to get to the beach across the road you must cross a main highway. We ended up loading our young kiddos in the car to drive across. But couldn't have been closer.
Expect to drive at least 10 minutes for a few small restaurants/coffeeshop in Yachats. Or back south 20ish min for Florence, for some fast food or other restaurants.
Like the listing mentions, little or no cell reception. Wifi is available.
Will stay again!
