Absolutely beautiful! Jim and Bethany were wonderful hosts! Everything you need is right here! Beautiful home, beautiful lake and wonderful people and place all around. Thank you!
This home was wonderful. It let us all be together, but had spaces to be alone. There were amazing views from the deck, and protected spaces behind the house. Already booked a second stay.

All three generations of our family thoroughly enjoyed this property. Proximity to the beach and lake are unmatched. We often had the beach to ourselves. Cleanliness and amenities were top notch!
Our family had a wonderful time celebrating my in-laws’ 50th wedding anniversary in this house. The location is absolutely perfect and the semi-private beach can’t be beat! Jim and Beth were awesome to work with and very attentive to our needs. The house is very well stocked in addition to being beautiful. We hope to be back!

Perfect place for 3 generations to stay for a week
This house is wonderfully situated steps from the water's edge and has everything from inflatable rafts to hot tub. I highly recommend it. And the hosts couldn't be more accomodating.

We enjoyed hosting your family. Hope to see you again!
I was very impressed with our home away from home! It was clean, cozy, and very well stocked. Communication with the owner was excellent. The beach was literally in our backyard. I would definitely recommend this for both children and adults.
Our family of 9 enjoyed our stay here. Right on the lake with everything needed close by without feeling like you were in the middle of the strip. The host was quite gracious and made sure we had everything needed, including a solo stove for a fire on the beach. The view from the family room and master were out of this world and the hot tub was on par. Stay here, you won't regret it!

We absolutely loved this house. For our young kids, the largest lake sandbox and very safe waterfront was all they needed. For the adults, the relaxing view, the ship watching and the very close access to great restaurants and several fun towns was such a treat. We came in the fall and even without swimming, it was a place with plenty to do. The house is so very clean and bright, and the hosts stocked the home in the most loving and hospitable way. They were always a text away if we needed anything and we even got to meet Jim who is such a fun dude to talk to and learn about the area. You can’t go wrong with a getaway in this property!
House is beautifully decorated, spacious, charming, and spotlessly clean. A well stocked kitchen. Being right on the beach was amazing. Beautiful sunrises, sunsets, and rainbows. Small rocks at the waterline. Fun if you like Petoskey stones. Bring water shoes if you have sensitive feet. Multiple comfy indoor and outdoor spaces. Hosts were lovely to work with and very responsive. The power was out in our area one day. Jim reached out immediately to make sure the generator had automatically started. It had. Would highly recommend the house and hosts.

We loved meeting and hosting your family. Thank you for the lovely review. We hope to host you again in the future.
We rented this property to celebrate our parents 50th wedding anniversary and it did not disappoint. There were 12 of us all together (kids and adults). Everyone had enough space, and having a bathroom on each floor was helpful.
Our parents stayed in the upstairs bedroom which provided great views of the water and sunrise. The living room also has a great view. We were only rained out for one day and it was actually relaxing to watch the wind and waves crash along the shore.
The star of the show here is having your own private beach. Not having to load up the car and fight the crowds is a huge plus to this property. We enjoyed lots of family time looking for Petoskey stones (found several), swimming, sitting by the fire, and soaking in the sun.
The hosts were very friendly and made sure that we had everything we needed. There are also lots of things to do around town, even on a rainy day. All the popular retail stores and restaurants are just 5 minutes away. I highly recommend this property.
One word of caution. Watch your step heading out to the deck from the living room. The step is raised and I wasn't really paying attention. Cut my toe wide open on the very first day. Didn't take away from a great trip though. Lol

About the host
Hosted by Bethany S
Born and raised in the Fort Gratiot/Port Huron area, we returned after living abroad with the Airforce. We decided that this was the perfect place to raise our two children. We currently live across the street from the Beach House. This is such a peaceful and relaxing area to live. We have lived in the neighborhood for over 20 years.
Why they chose this property
We always wanted to own a house on the beach. This home was built in 1925 and has been completely updated. After we purchased the Beach House we realized that my mother played her as a little girl. This is a very special house with spectacular views of Lake Huron.
What makes this property unique
The back deck, living room as well as the primary bedroom have fabulous views of the lake. The sunshine sparkling on the water, the ducks swimming by or the freighters that go by to and from the St. Clair River. The ultimate place to relax!
