Perfect for a bachelorette!!
We had my sisters bachelorette here last weekend, start to finish it was amazing. Plenty of space for us all to sleep & bathrooms! On top of it all, so many things to do that we spent the entire day Saturday by the pool and using the amenities. The rooms are so fun as well, we all loved it!!
Excellent property that is perfect for a large golf trip group. We had 16 guys sleep comfortably and the amenities (pool, hot tub, etc) were exactly what was needed.
Unbelievable place for 7 of our golfing friends. Loved the rooms, pool and hot tubs. We would love to have this house on all our golf trips.
Thanks for the hospitality!
We went to Traverse City to snowmobile and visit area wineries. The house was amazing. They truly thought of everything one might need or want when staying. Plus the unique and thoughtful details made for a memorable stay. We had a great time in the game room and looking at all the memorabilia.
This property is everything is says it is!! We had the absolute best time here. The hosts were easy to communicate with and we were so sad to leave come check out day. Everything was amazing!
Nostalgic, Comfy & Cozy Atmosphere! I Dream of Jeannie Room, Star Trek, James Bond 007, Laugh-In, Brady Bunch, Partridge Family Room and more...the attention to detail in each room is incredible! You could play games, pickleball, swim (the pool was spotless) or just relax in the sauna or by the fire pit. The Pool Barn, game room and grounds are perfect for a family reunion, wedding or a large gathering. So much to do and too little time. Thank you Dan & Lisa!

This place was everything we thought it was going to be and more! We had a very large group of adults and lots of kids ages 11 and under! It was great for everyone! Even in the middle of winter, there was a ton to do for everyone. The owners have thought of everything and their communication if great! We were so so happy with our stay!!
Our group of 25 have an annual girls weekend trip every year. It’ll be hard to top the amount of fun we had at the 70s lodge! We never left the property for the entire 3 days!
This house is an absolute treasure. We were only there for a weekend and it wasn’t enough time to see and do everything this house has to offer. Will definitely be coming back. 10/10
Everything we expected in the house on during the stay was there, clean and in working order. Additionally plenty of towels, bedding and toiletries which is not always the case with these types of properties. We all had a great time and would recommend staying here to anyone considering doing so.
This was the perfect property for us!! It had so much entertainment for the kids and adults. The game room, pool, hot tub, and pool garage is where we spent most of our time. It was great for family ping pong and bags tournament. Dan, the property owner, and Shawn, the guest service manager, answered any questions we had and were great hosts!! We would definitely use one of their properties again.
The uniquely decorated 70's House provided a well-stocked basic home with plenty of room for everyone for social interaction as well as entertainment. The game room, hot tubs, play area were spacious and well equipped. It was off a main road just 5 minutes from Traverse City.
That 70's Lodge exceeded ALL expectations !!! I promise you the Pictures look cool but they don't even do this place justice on how amazing it is!!! The details of this place are beyond anything I could have ever imagined, on day 3 of the trip I was still finding cool new things! 10/10 would highly recommend staying here! From the cleanliness of the place to the quick response time from the owners about any questions, I couldn’t say one bad thing! Also, this lodge is so close to TC, perfect for wine tasting and hanging out in downtown Traverse City! I wouldn’t change one thing. That 70’s lodge will NOT disappoint!
Our group of 15 ranged from 1-69 years of age and everybody had a great time. The owner and property manager were very responsive to requests for a pack and play and location of items within the home. The double washer and dryer were really nice to have - a plastic hamper would have been nice for wet towels/dirty clothes. The kitchen was a bit dated and the dishwasher was not consistent with the tabs (didn’t dissolve many times) so cooking and cleaning after larger meals was a challenge but doable. There are plenty of pots, pans, refrigerator space, utensils, grilling cookware etc but I’d suggest more bowls if possible. The sleeping arrangements in the tiny house and main floor were great but the basement rooms were tough to sleep in if people were walking overhead. The noise from footsteps on stairs, the main entrance and kitchen reverberated throughout the basement and even the youngest of our kids at 20 lbs walking could wake a light sleeper due to the creaking floorboards. The pool, grill by the pool, and hot tubs were fantastic. Given the cooler temps the week we stayed, the pool at 80 degrees was a little cold but the cold plunge barrel was well utilized to make 80 feel like 90. Overall I would recommend the 70s house to those looking for a fun filled stay with a lot of indoor and outdoor activities. It isn’t a luxurious home but it’s definitely an experience.
