Holiday home in Southern Ireland, sea view, secluded location Wild Atlantic Way

The house is located on the Wild Atlantic Way, with 2500 km one of the longest coastal roads in the world with untamed, rough nature and spectacular cliffs and panoramas as well as evidence of millennia-old culture.
Located on a hill with large windows with sea view, secluded location with a lot of privacy, a few minutes' walk to the small, picturesque sandy beach on Tragumna Bay (blue flag). Magnificent sunsets, 7,000 square meters surrounding in the middle of nature. The wider area is populated by friendly local Irish people who often meet in the evening at the nearby Skibbereen Eagle Pub.

Fully equipped kitchen, dining area with sea view. Dishwasher, washing machine, dryer. Bathroom with large shower, toilet. 2 bedrooms and pull-out couch in the living room, fireplace. SATELLITE TV. Large winter garden (unheated) with seating, dining table and 2 deck chairs to fully enjoy the Irish nature with wind and weather with an Irish coffee.
please note, for Internet access you can contact the caretaker Maeve Davis, for €20 per week she will provide you with a router during your stay.

Very enjoyable visit to Tragumna

The property was perfect for our needs. Clean and very nicely decorated. Everything worked as expected. Lovely views from the property, which is a short 10 minute walk from the beach.

Just Excellent!

One thing that was not very accurate in the description... the view!!! it is beautiful and can be enjoyed from the dining table, the winter garden and the sofa in the living room. The house has everything you could need for your stay. Super well equipped kitchen, pub and beach nearby. Just excellent!

We've had a truly lovely time at Lilos house. The house is very comfortable providing lots of light filled different spaces to be in with fantastic views We've loved it so much that we will have been here a month when we go !! We’d love to visit again!

The property has the most stunning views, eating breakfast was a treat every morning. Make sure to stock up as there isn’t a shop in walking distance but the blue flag beach a few mins walk away is just lovely and there’s a pub close by too. Recommend a short drive to Glandore for lunch/dinner. We did the SeaKayaking, I went once with my sister at Lough Hyne, lots of sparkles and went with my Husband to Castle Haven Bay and was lucky enough to get the full Bioluminescent Algae experience. The house has everything you need, is very well looked after, super comfortable beds. Very comfortable living room and big shower. We are hoping to come back next year. I felt very comfortable there with my 3.5 year old. There’s a couple of steps to tiled floor in the conservatory but it’s easy enough to just keep that door closed. Otherwise it was very baby/toddler friendly. Some vegan options within a 15 min drive. Connellys in Leap being one of them for pizza and sometime they have other options too. The supermarket at Skibereen is VERY well stocked with Vegan food and I would advise to pick up a protein selection there as opening times for restaurants, availability of vegan options was a bit hit and miss so my sister struggled a bit eating out but Seafood wise it’s just brilliant. I had the best Chowder of my life at Hayes in Glandore. So many views, so much to go back for. We loved our stay and the accommodation. Thanks for being great hosts!

Sehr schönes Haus mit tollem Ausblick. Das Haus ist top ausgestattet, gerade in der Küche fehlt es an nichts. Sehr gemütliche Gesamtaustattung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Pub ist fußläufig gut zu erreichen.

Ein tolles Haus!Viel Komfort, Ruhe und ein herrlicher Blick.Die Gegend ist wirklich schön, Skibbereen ist ein netter Ort mit einem sehr schönen Farmers Market. Man kann überall wandern und hat tolle Naturerlebnisse. Der Wintergarten am Haus ist wirklich grandios und generell mangelt es an nichts.

Herrliche Woche in West-Cork

Das Haus liegt traumhaft auf einer Anhöhe mit toller Aussicht und hat eigentlich alles, was man sich so wünscht als Familie mit (Klein)kindern. Waschmaschine war ein absolutes Plus, die Kleidung wurde sehr schnell trocken im Wintergarten. Der Strand ist zu Fuß zu erreichen und wenn man keine große Angst vor toten Quallen hat, kann man mit Kindern dort ausreichend im Sand oder Wasser spielen. In Tragumna kann man nur ein paar Sachen kaufen im Pub, aber Skibbereen ist mit dem Auto einfach zu erreichen und hat als Kleinsttadt bzw. größtes Dorf in der Umgebung (keine 3000 Einwohner) mit Lidl, Aldi und Spar und weiteren Geschäften für den täglichen und weniger täglichen Bedarf ein mehr als ausreichendes Angebot. Die Umgebung ist wunderschön, die Wege manchmal ein bisschen schmal, aber man gewöhnt sich daran und die Iren sind auch im Straßenverkehr höflich. Fahrradfahren können sich in der hüglichen Landschaft ausleben, für Wanderer und Läufer gibt es Wanderwege, aber auch am Straßenrand wird man unterwegs sein, was manchmal eine ziemliche Herausforderung in Sachen Eigensicherheit ist.

Tolles Haus in wunderbarer Lage

Das Haus ist toll eingerichtet, alles da, was man braucht. Der Wintergarten ist ein Traum - wir haben bei Regen und Sturm die Aussicht genossen. Wir hatten kein Glück mit dem Wetter, aber das Beste daraus gemacht - es gibt viel zu Sehen in dieser schönen Ecke Irlands.

Schöne Tage in Tragumna Beach

Das Haus liegt in einer ruhigen Lage mit Blick über eine bezaubernde Bucht. Die Übergabe ist einfach und problemlos gelaufen. Das Haus ist sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, mit allem Wünschenswerten ausgestattet und auch gut heizbar. Der große Wintergarten bietet einen schönen Ausblick und so viel Tageslicht, dass man sogar an Regentagen gut ohne künstliche Beleuchtung lesen kann. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und würden gerne wieder kommen. Vielen Dank an Lilo!

Wunderschönes Haus in traumhafter Lage

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Woche in Lilos Haus. Es gibt einen sehr schönen Badestrand in direkter Nähe und der Blick von der Terrasse bzw. vom Wintergarten aus auf Tragumna Bay ist malerisch. Direkt vom Haus aus lassen sich schöne Wanderungen unternehmen. Insgesamt sehr empfehlenswert!

Irland - jetzt auch mit dem 3. Kind

Wir hatten sehr schöne 7 Tage (wie immer zu kurz) bei wechselhaftem Wetter, immerhin sind wir einmal im Atlantik geschwommen. Die Küche mit ihren reichhaltigen Utensilien forderte uns zum gemeinsamen Kochen auf und wir aßen gemeinsam am großen Esstisch mit herrlichem Blick aufs Meer. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Wunderschöner, erholsamer Urlaub. Das Haus entsprach der Beschreibung. Es war sehr gut eingerichtet, es fehlte an nichts. Besonders schön war der Blick in die Tragumna Bucht. In Summe war es ein Ort zum Erholen.

Sehr schöner Erlebnisurlaub im Südwesten Irlands

Tolles Haus, in sehr schöner Umgebung. Es fehlte wirklich nichts an Haushaltsausstattung. Das haben wir in dieser Form noch bei keiner Ferienwohnung oder Haus gehabt. Uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.
