I’m sorry that portions of your stay was not what you expected, both the pictures and property descriptions on the website are accurate:…kitchen was renovated last year, kitchen utensils, glassware, cookware were all purchased new last year. Although some of the appliance are not new they are in good working order and I do periodically check these item to determine if they need replacement. For clarification, there are condiments left in the refrigerator as a convenience for guests along with spices, baking supplies, snacks etc which I have found most guests appreciate. The refrigerator and all surfaces in the kitchen and throughout the house are throughly cleaned in between guests. I have an excellent cleaning person who makes sure that all of the linens are cleaned, regardless of whether they are guest washed or beds already made or not. I do ask, like many short term rental owners, that the laundry left to be cleaned is limited to 2 loads. There are two sets of bedding for all the beds to make the check out process easier and more efficient for the guests. I also encourage guests to review house rules/policies upon arrival(guest information booklet is at the front door) to minimize mis-understandings. I answer all of emails in a timely manner and provided my cell number in case an immediate response is needed. Once again, I am sorry that your vacation rental experience was not all that you might have hoped for. I would have been happy to come up with a solution that might have improved your stay had I known of your concerns. I truly feel communication is key for a positive rental experience for both guests and owners.
