Propane was empty on porch fire table, disappointed but not a deal breaker. The bed in the room with a crib is a pull out twin, from the pictures I thought it was a regular tein bed. Overall the house was very nice, clean and in a quiet neighborhood.
A group of 7 adults stayed in this VRBO as a get together to explore the Bourbon trail. The property was clean and very nice inside. With the 2 king beds, there was plenty of sleeping space for everyone (4 people shared 2 king beds). The neighborhood was nice and within walking distance (10 minutes, not sidewalks all the way) to places to eat. An easy 15 minute drive to Louisville. Communication with the host was excellent!!!
What a great place to stay! Great location close to downtown Louisville. Plenty of sleeping options for my 5 friends. Great communication with owner. Highly recommend this place for your bourbon trail experience.
House is super super cozy! Was decorated very nice with Christmas warmth as well. Beautiful bedrooms and bathrooms. Easy parking and access to everything!
The accommodations were very good and had everything we needed. My only negative is there are too many decorative glass pieces sitting around just waiting to be broken. Otherwise I have no complaints at all. Thank you for allowing us to stay in this nice place in a great location.
The house was spotless, and the location to everything was fantastic . This place is a gem! The host was extremely responsive and the house had everything we needed.
Super cute house in a great area. The host was extremely responsive and accommodating. There was a small miscommunication regarding how many bedrooms there were, but she immediately recognized the error and corrected it. 10/10!
This home is beautiful and well decorated. It is in a nice and quiet area of town with lots of restaurants. The kitchen had adequate furnishings for cooking. Bedrooms located on three floors was nice to give our group of 7 space for privacy. The owner was responsive to the couple of issues that we had during our stay. One thing to note for those staying in the basement bedroom during the winter is that we found it to be quite cold. When we arrived the top two floors were set at 63 degrees; however, the basement was closer to 50 degrees. We discovered that the only air vents in the basement were closed and covered. There are return air vents, but no vents providing heat. We purchased a small space heater and turned the house unit fan on so that it circulated air throughout the house constantly. By our second evening in the house, the basement was more comfortable although still cooler than the rest of the home. The basement bathroom floor had a leak, which maintenence addressed on day two of our stay, but we did continue to notice water leaking through the tile. Even with these issues, we enjoyed our stay and would consider staying here again when in Louisville.
The entire house was beautiful. It had everything we needed and really felt like home. We especially enjoyed hanging out on the back porch. Catherine was extremely accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed. It was close to downtown Louisville and Churchill Downs. I would definitely rent again.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
The place was beautiful upon entry and the top two levels we had absolutely no issues with. We enjoyed the back patio with the fireplace and everything was great until we were able to view the downstairs with brighter lights after the first night stay.We found what looks like smeared vomit on the bedside table so we proceeded to takeoff the sheets thinking they may not have been changed. We found a chunk of vomit on the mattress and then found more on the comforter the next day.We sent a picture of this to the owner. It took her over 13 hours to respond and when she did, she was very defensive and said the cleaners said it was not there, and she could assure me that sheets have been changed. She never responded about the sopping wet rug we found under the king size bed downstairs. There we stood in wet socks putting the sheets back on after a full day at the expo center playing volleyball, and still no response from the owner about the vomit. You can imagine this wasn’t the comfort we wanted after being in a busy gym all day. Staff will make mistakes while cleaning, but that was a huge one. And I’m assuming there has to be some mold in the basement with the water soaked rug after a day with rain.
The house is beautifully decorated and it had all the amenities we needed! We had multiple married couples in our group and each had a large room with extremely comfortable beds. There are 3 levels in the home, so know you’ll be climbing stairs. We were in town for our son’s wedding and we were able to have small groups of extended family come by to visit in the living areas and on the back porch. We also were able to host a breakfast and place to get ready for our son’s groomsmen. The host kindly provided extra tables and clothing racks for our groomsmen, which was very thoughtful. The location had a nearby Target and Kroger which made shopping a breeze and many in our group took walks in the neighborhood. We would highly recommend this property!
