Experience an amazing retreat when you book this vacation home in Taos Ski Valley! Start your mornings with coffee on the mountain-view front porch. Enjoy tranquil river views. A shared yard has a gas grill and picnic table, perfect for an afternoon cookout. Inside, settle in on the plush furnishings in front of the wood-burning fireplace and watch a movie on the 40” smart TV. The kitchen provides a full suite of appliances and ample cookware to prepare meals, which you can share in the quaint dining space. The comfy queen-size bed offers quality lines, and the bathroom is fitted with a tub/shower combination. Complimentary WiFi is also provided for added convenience.

In warmer months, enjoy hiking, biking, and fishing all within a walk or short drive. Restaurants and shops in the ski valley are conveniently nestled within a leisurely stroll, while more entertainment can be found 30 minutes away in Taos.

Things to Know
Check-in time: 4:00 p.m.
Check-out time: 10:00 a.m.
All guests shall abide by Vacasa’s good neighbor policy and shall not engage in illegal activity. Quiet hours are from 10:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m.
No smoking is permitted anywhere on the premises.
No pets of any kind are allowed at this vacation home.
No sprinter vans are permitted.
Parking passes must be visible at all times or the vehicle may be towed at the guest(s) expense.
This ground-floor unit is accessed via six steps at the entryway.
The condo does not have air-conditioning.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Yaaos trip

The condo is great. Short walk to the lifts. Vacasa however was an epic fail! We had a coffee maker and a tv remote that weren't working. Called Vacasa about both, they took our # and said someone would call soon. Had to unplug the TV to shut it off and manually pour boiling water through the coffee maker. Not a big deal but the lack of response was not good. If I owned this property I would dump Vacasa.

Great location, poor communication

Overall this place is all about the location. It was great to step right to the slopes. It did snow during our stay which was great, but the sounds and lights of all the snowplows and such comes in at about 4am. Plenty of firewood, which you need as there is no there is no other heat to use. It does have heated floors which is nice. Cons: Communication is awful. I tried contacting the host to see about checking in early. We got no response until the next day. I then tried to contact to see about getting more towels and where the laundry is. The response was 12 hours later. Note that I was told we only get one towel per person no matter how long you are staying. And you can wash your own towels located at a different location that requires coins. The washer and dryer are not located in the unit. This would have been great to know prior. Also, there was tons of someone else’s food left in the refrigerator and freezer. That just seemed gross to me that it wasn’t cleaned out. It was eggs, meats, leftover food. Also wanting to wake up and enjoy some coffee, but the coffee pot does not work. This listing also states there is a hot tub. We did not have one and was never told about where we could find one. There is a bathtub in the property but it’s difficult to get enough hot water to even shower. We have stayed at several places in Taos and I have to say, we have stayed at better for not that much.

Perfect stay

Exceeded expectations. One of the better stocked kitchens when it comes to equipment - can handle almost any recipe. Great location; the lift is a 3 minute walk from the front door. Overall a great experience.

Very Convenient Ski Condo

We stayed during January for 5 days of skiing and really enjoyed being very close to the center shops and ski lifts. We were looking for a small efficiency, and this property was exactly that. It had a well-appointed kitchen, eating nook, comfortable couch and a good TV for watching the football playoffs. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was that although the condo was small, it was very cold, and took about a day and a half to warm up. There was a space heater that helped, and a wood stove. We could not use the wood stove because of a medical condition that one of us has.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very nice place only a short walk to the main lift. NOT ski in ski out. Very neat and tidy, clean, well stocked and pleasantly decorated. Many thoughtful touches, wonderful bath towels and excellent kitchen set up. Some coat hooks near the front door would be very useful.Ability to adjust temp should be changed. The space was a bit warm, but the property manager/handyman happened to be nearby and re-set the temp for us. Excellent place overall. We really enjoyed our stay and will stay again if it's available.

Great Place! Great Location!

Everything was as advertised. Small challenge with a few needs during the stay but the manager had Covid so was out. The neighbors pitched in and we were good. This place is so close to the lifts and super comfy.

Good location, no hot tub

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location of this condo was good. We were disappointed that the hot tub was shared with all the units and also not accessible during covid. The title / description of the property highlighted the hot tub and nowhere made clear it was shared and wouldn’t be available now. It felt quite expensive for what it was without a hot tub. Our overall experience with Turnkey was disappointing (they changed our booking from the original property we booked in Taos ski valley to something in Taos town the day before we were to arrive. It took a lot of back and forth and inconvenience to get rebooked at this property so we could continue to be in Taos ski valley.)
