University Area Great Escape

The Great Escape is a newer construction modern farmhouse design in the university area. Located near the UM Golf Course, Dornblaser Field, Bonner Park, and down the street from Missoula Fairgrounds and Glacier Ice Rink. The house is just blocks away from campus with biking and trails near by. The house is also minutes from downtown, and has views of Mt. Sentinel from the deck and a patio in the back yard with plenty of room to lounge. A bus stop is nearby and guests can walk to nearby Cambie Taphouse for breakfast, lunch or dinner and enjoy a cold beer. Built with solar panels on the roof, in floor radiant heating and AC, it’s comfortable during all seasons. The house is in an excellent location with vintage farmhouse decor and is very family friendly with room to spread out. The location is ideal for guests who want to enjoy Missoula and be centrally located in an excellent location.

Really enjoyed our stay! 5 couples came together to celebrate a birthday and everyone had their own clean comfortable room to sleep in with shared living space to hang out in. A wonderful experience.

The property is located in a great spot. Close to the university and very walkable. The space is awesome for large parties with six well appointed bedrooms and three bathrooms. There is also great outdoor space with fire pits and a grill.The kitchen is well stocked with quality appliances and cookware.

Wow! These guys nailed it. It’s like they built the house to be a VRBO and stocked it with everything you could possibly need. Our family rented this space for a wedding weekend. The grandkids loved having the lower level all to themselves. Our elderly mother was able to stay on the ground floor and not deal with steps. We had our own private retreat upstairs. Highly recommend.

This house was perfect for our stay with extended family in Missoula for a wedding. Beautiful new home in a quiet neighborhood. Three floors with two bedrooms and one full bath on each floor. The kids loved hanging out in the basement tv/game room, leaving the adults quiet space upstairs. Elderly family members could stay on first floor to avoid stairs, and plenty of room for our large party to spread out. Fully stocked kitchen, laundry facilities and bathrooms, and fenced in outdoor patio with lots of seating, grill and small fire pit. Hosts were very helpful and communicative. Would definitely recommend!!

We spent Thanksgiving here with our family. The house was set up very well for multiple people and provided privacy with bedrooms on 3 levels. I was very skeptical about cooking a turkey dinner at a rental and was pleasantly surprised at how well the kitchen was stocked. The location was great with easy access to downtown and the university. I would stay here again!

Great Property and great host

I had a group of colleagues stay at this property for a weekend event, it received glowing reviews from everyone. Very nice and spacious property and a great host. We will definitely stay there again if it is available.

Great house for a extended family celebration

What a great house! Perfect location for all the activities we were scheduled to participate in. House was well equipped with everything we needed. Check in was super easy and the owners were so helpful throughout our stay.

Perfect for large or multiple families

Brads house was perfect for my family, my sisters family and my parents. We came for a cousins wedding and it was the perfect location. Everything is super nice, new and modern.

We organized a week-long family get-together several months ago, and from the very beginning, Brad was so easy to work with. They bent over backwards to accommodate our needs and requests, and I appreciate it so very much! When we arrived at the house, we found everything exactly as described, only better! We found snacks the place overflowing with snacks, fresh flowers on the table, a great selection of toys and books for our four-year old granddaughter! And I have never stayed at a place so well-stocked with every little convenience we might think of, from lotion, toothpaste, nail files, to a well-stocked pantry. We needed a griddle for pancakes, and Brad found one and dropped it off bright and early before breakfast, and left it on the front porch! This is also the cleanest place we have ever stayed. Thank you so much for your absolutely wonderful home, where we could visit with family all week in beautiful Missoula. Our son lives there, so it's very likely this will become an annual or semi-annual event, and we will absolutely love to stay there again! Thank you! The Carpenter - Bolte Family

This property exceeded my expectations! We were in town for my daughter’s wedding and to have my entire family have a comfortable and safe place to stay and socialize was wonderful. This place is STOCKED and has everything you could ever need. Brad was highly communicative which was appreciated. Can’t say enough but if I ever needed to come back to house that many people it would be my first choice. Economical too!

Perfect Family Casa

We loved it! Great house that was fully equipped with every possible amenity. Check in and access were easy and the owners were helpful and thoughtful. House was easy to find and accessible to downtown Missoula, UM and other areas. We hope to stay again when we are back in town!
