West Maui, Kahana Sunset, vista al mar con aire acondicionado, playa privada

Kahana Sunset es bastante especial ya que tiene su propia playa espaciosa de arena blanca en Keone Nui Bay. Sentado en nuestra playa con orientación oeste, tiene vistas pintorescas de las islas Molokai y Lanai.

Como se trata de un complejo pequeño, es ideal para vacaciones familiares y hay algo para que todos disfruten. Un montón de césped y jardín si la piscina y la playa no son su preferencia. Nuestros dos lanais le ofrecen vistas directas de nuestros jardines y puestas de sol en el agua.

Estamos seguros de que una vez que haya pasado sus primeras vacaciones aquí ... regresará. Más del 50% de los huéspedes de Kahana Sunset son huéspedes que regresan, muchos han estado de vacaciones aquí por más de 20 años.

The place was absolutely beautiful. Very clean. Loved the property. Had easy communication with the Host before arriving which was so nice. He gave us clear instructions on accessing the property as well as fantastic driving instructions. Overall we had a wonderful time and will definitely be back!

The condo was perfect for our family of 7. We loved the pool and the two decks overlooking the pool and ocean. We enjoyed how quiet it was. We liked that we were in walking distance to Napili Market and Boss Frog's. The host John was quick to answer our questions which we really appreciated. We had requested a cot but did not actually need one as the fold out sofa bed was big enough for two people. The different levels of property management were a little confusing, but despite that we heartily give the condo 5 stars.

Great Stay

Had a blast here and location was wonderful! Condo was well equipped but only accommodation it did not have was beach chairs and would have been nice to include these. Otherwise, very nice place to stay and property was very well taken care of, would rent here again!

Outstanding Location

While the property did seem like it could use a good deep clean, the location was everything we had hoped for and more. Great layout for families and outstanding beach. We loved our sunset view and couldn’t beat swimming with the turtles!

Great location, wonderful beach, terrific views

It was fantastic place to stay and very good location. The newly installed AC worked as expected and was really helpful during our stay. The surrounding property is well-kept with plenty of flowers and tropical fruits. The beach is great, and we enjoyed swimming and snorkeling with turtles. We enjoyed having a barbecues with ocean view. Kahana Sunset condo is just comfortable place for vacation on Maui.

The property was very nice. we could see whales from our balcony. My grandchildren and all of us enjoyed seeing the turtles down by the rocks and even on the beach.

LOCATION!!!

Everything you could ever want with a stay in Maui! Small, quiet beach, gorgeous grounds, and nice accommodations. (The beds are hard, they could use a nice 3" topper to help make them softer and a deep clean is due, but general surfaces were clean.) John was so great with communicating and really seemed concerned about making sure we enjoyed our stay. Absolutely will stay here again!!!

This condo complex is a jewel. The beach is small but wonderful. Sea turtles were seen everyday. The condo is a basic place with everything you could need for your time at the beach.

My Maui Vacation

The unit was in a wonderful location and was secluded whichbwas may favorite part. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Family Fun

Great location to great dining (Ulu Kitchen enjoyed by us and our son and his wife on separate date nights) as well as to the beautiful small crescent shaped beach surrounded by nature (Slaughterhouse Beach that was awesome for snorkeling, boogie boarding and body surfing and tide pooling with our 6 and 9 year old grandkids). Many happy times had by the 6 of us. Condo amenities including pool, BBQ areas, decking near beach ( where turtles hung out) and condo lanai’s were terrific.

Nice and far from the city. Peaceful. It would have been nice to have a hot tub. Parking was little tight for a mini van. Otherwise, safe and beautiful place to stay. The view was awesome. The unit was great.

Beautiful/lovely stay

Great place & location. Easy check in. 6 of us stayed and there was enough sleeping space. The kitchen was great! Cooked most of our meals. Just make sure everything gets put away at night - even frangrace toiletries because the Hawaiian roaches come out forsure, especially in the smaller bathroom. Having a washer & dryer was a bonus! We definitely enjoyed our stay. Thank you John and Kathee.

Amazing view!

This is a great unit in the Kahana Sunset complex and has incredible views of the ocean and island of Molokai. Unit was clean and well stocked. Beds were comfy and having individual A/C units in each room was a great bonus! The complex was very family friendly and the grilling area/pool were very nice. Ending each day sitting out by the rock wall watching the sunset was a memory our family will never forget! WiFi and TVs worked great and so did all the appliances. Will definitely stay here again when visiting Maui.

Our family of four (two children aged 9 and 12) stayed comfortably over the past week and had the best time. Location is fantastic in relation to everything on west/north Maui but away from the crowds. The facilities (pool/lawn/grills/etc) were clean, very well maintained and entertaining for all. The condo was comfortable and well equipped— especially for us since we do almost all of our own cooking (with local market finds) any time we are on the island. We are already plotting a return. Nothing could have been better.

Great location, amazing beach, terrific views

My wife, two kids (2 and 5), mother in law and I all stayed at this great home and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Our favorite was snorkeling with the many giant turtles off the beach. I don’t think we could have asked for a better place to stay while we were in Maui. Only drawback was the lack of bathroom on the main floor, but that was not a big deal. Oh and the fridge was a little noisy. Also not a big deal. Overall if you stay here, you won’t be disappointed.

Thank you for your review it is very helpful to know what a guest experiences were while enjoying our condo on their vacation. Most of these condos were built in the early 70's and without a half bath downstairs. When you have a large group the extra bath would be very helpful. I'll have the refrigerator checked out, thanks again for your input.

It’s interesting to me how in the past 8 reviews that responded we have all 5 stars. One would think that there would be more 1-2 star reviews if according to the last review were correct. Unfortunately I don’t live on Maui to check out the cleaning of the condo but I will pass this review along to our Property Manager to correct this issue. Your request on updating the bedding. We did replace the master mattress in the middle of 2019 so it’s only two years old and it wasn’t a cheap mattress. The back bedroom is about four years old and again I’ve had no other complaints over the past few years. When it comes to the softness to hardness on mattresses it comes down to you can’t please all the guests all the time. I’m sure ours are not like the one you have at home which you bought strictly for your comfort needs. But we tried to pick the middle of the road when it cam to firmness.

The King's, Kathie and John. Our first visit to this complex was on our honeymoon in 1994 and we have been vacationing there once or twice a year ever since. In 2002 we decided we had to purchase our own piece of paradise. Our son Marc and his wife Nicki and our grand kids Gianna and Dante really love this Maui paradise too. We should all be so lucky, G We all live in Windsor, California, which is about an hour north of San Francisco.

We chose to buy here because it's a smaller complex, the grounds are well maintained, has it's own beach, great views of Molokai and Lanai, good snorkeling, and it's peaceful.
