The variety of cultural-historical evidence paired with the romantic flair of the Rhine flowing in the valley can best be explored during extensive hikes along the Rheinsteig. Among the most famous destinations are the Loreley in St. Goarshausen, Sonneck, Rheinstein, Stahleck as well as the Electoral Castle near Koblenz, the German Corner, the castles Ehrenfels, Reichenberg, Liebenfels and the fortress Ehrenbreitstein as well as the wine slopes in Rüdesheim and Bingen.
