It had a lot of mold smell. I had to use my asthma inhaler.Also lied to there was no beach. There is water but nowhere to get onto a beach to sit on.I tried to contact the owner more then once and tell him just for a future reference. He should definitely get the air quality fixed. We were forced to stay there because we had no money for a hotel and they were very expensive in that area anyway He never answered my calls. I did not want to give him a bad review, but unfortunately he's not even respectful enough to answer me. If you have asthma or children don't stay there!

Wish there was a microwave

No hot tub no way to cook anything except outdoor grille. Would have been nice if a small microwave was available. Enjoyed ourselves. Convenient for hunting seaglass.

Fortescue NJ rental

The property was ready upon arrival and clean. It was lacking in paper products (no Kleenex or paper towels. No extra toilet paper). The grounds were in a bit of disarray. It looked like a few projects were half completed. So it was like a work site. The listing stated a hot tub was available. We saw no hot tub. But still, we are fairly easy to please and the rental as perfectly adequate.

A quick get away

It was wonderful! lTony and his wife were great. The Red Eyed Crab restaurant was delicious and my daughter and I returned to it for dinner the next night as well. 2lb Alaskan Crab Boil ( a special not on menu)$65.00 dollars. You definitely have to drive to the beaches and plan your day trips which I understood before renting.

Very misleading

This property was atrocious. Walking on the floor was felt like we would fall through, the shower was disgusting and the beds where trash!!! The marketing was very misleading because it wasn’t close to the water. The neighborhood was not inviting. We did not stay.

Nice

The cottage was adequate for our stay as we went to the beaches in Cape May and Stone Harbor which were about an hour away. Unfortunately the green heads were in full swing but somehow we didn’t get bit. The mattresses were new and supportive and the place overall very clean.

great place to stay

Tony was great to deal with. This property was very easy to find. The apartment was clean and perfect for us. We stayed there over night due to going on a fishing trip the next day. We would stay again.

Wonderful stay

Antonio's home was a great place to stay before heading to Cape May the next day for Bikes and Beers. The place was exactly as advertised and Antonio and his wife were both very welcoming. The Charlesworth restaurant, just a block away, is a must when you stay here.

Hidden Paradise in New Jersey

A place away from noise! The rooms very clean and Antonio, the property manager was very helpful and courteous. Cape May is about 1 hour away, but even that was a plus as it gave us the opportunity to feel as if we were in a real adventure. There is no convenient store nearby, so make sure to bring supplies. Thank you Antonio, we enjoyed our staying.

Not as good as it sounds/looks in pictures

Was about a 15 minute walk from the nearest beach. It is different from how it looks in the pictures. It’s 25 minutes from the nearest gas station or convince store. The owner stared at us the whole time we were getting settled in the room. The pictures show the front of the house but it’s actually around back. After we left, about a half hour before check out time, the owner tried to charge another $80 because we had more guests then he was expecting. He provided us with nothing extra and still insisted, against Vrbo policy, we must pay extra. Definitely would look elsewhere. The owner however did have good communication before checking in

Easy getaway to a beach town

Antonio was good to inform us that the property was 1hr from Cape May - where we really wanted to go. Rooms were good for our weekend trip and beds were very comfortable. Shower could have been better. Coffee maker did not really brew coffee through the pods, water just dripped out of it. Nearby restaurant called the Charlesworth was splendid. Local beaches or quiet and relaxing. Not great to swim in.

Good location

Rooms clean and quite. Air was musty like rooms has been closed up for a while but with doors and windows open it cleared up. Host was great.

Quaint place down

Property was quaint and clean. Initially expected it to be closer to the beach but it was just a short walk away. Cool to see the horseshoe crabs mating. Thanks Tony!
