Beautiful Princeville Pali Ke Kua condo perched on a cliff overlooking Bali Hai, with unobstructed views of the ocean, sunsets, waterfalls, and rainbows. Turtles can be seen swimming in the cove below. December through April whales can be seen on their journey to and from Alaska. This corner unit has spectacular views from every room and the best views on the North Shore. Just read our reviews! Photos in our listing are the actual views from our unit.

Sleeps 4, with queen bed in master bedroom and queen bed in large open loft (loft is not fully private). 2 full baths with showers. Generously equipped kitchen, free wifi, smart TVs with cable, washer and dryer. Electric BBQ on the lanai. Tinted windows and roller shades on lanai to reduce afternoon sun.

Many beach supplies including chairs, mats, towels, coolers, umbrellas, snorkel equipment, boogie boards.

Large collection of Hawaiian music, movies and books. Games, puzzles.

Walk to the beach just below our unit on a steep, but paved trail, where you can swim and experience amazing snorkeling. Hanalei Bay is just a 10 minute drive - the most picturesque spot in all of Hawaii. Hiking trails can be found nearby such as the world famous Kalalau Trail on the Na Pali coast. Don't miss taking a day trip to the other side of Kauai to see Waimea Canyon, known as the Grand Canyon of the islands.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

1. A/C: We intentionally chose not to include air conditioning in our corner unit, as we value the natural Hawaiian trade winds that flow in from the bluff in Princeville. Pali Ke Kua units are not designed to be sealed air-tight. With multiple ceiling fans, portable fans, window shades, lanai shades, and screened front door, our unit remains comfortable & breezy throughout most of the year (July-September are the warmest months). This choice is part of the authentic island experience we enjoy here. If air conditioning is a priority for your stay, there are other Pali Ke Kua units that offer it. We kindly ask that you take this into consideration when booking and sharing feedback.

2. Not wheelchair accessible. No elevator. Must use stairs both outside and inside the unit.

3. Pali Ke Kua is a smoke free property. Smoking/vaping is not allowed indoors, on the balcony of our unit, or anywhere outdoors on the Pali Ke Kua property.

Replace the pool key by the front door and leave all beach supplies (clean) where you found them.
If possible, please wash some of your towels & sheets prior to departure.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Rentals of more than 30 days are not accepted.
Maximum of 4 guests per stay, including children. No exceptions. Policy firmly enforced.
If you have an evening flight departure and would like to check out after 1:00 PM, you must reserve an additional day.

Why they chose this property

The first time we walked in and looked out the dining room window there were whales spouting and playing right in front and were awed by the views of Bali Hai.
It didn't take much more convincing for us to decide to buy this beautiful property.

What makes this property unique

Simply the best views in Princeville. This was the builder's unit back when Pali Ke Kua was built. We've been renting our unit for over 30 years, while our own family & friends also visit frequently. Pali Ke Kua 218 is truly a treasure.
