Hi Valerie, I am so sorry you were disappointed, especially since we discussed almost 2 years ago when you booked that the pool is not guaranteed to be open in April and especially is not heated. It is a seasonal amenity (weather permitting). I went a step further to reach out multiple times before your arrival this April to make sure you understood that since the weather had still been unseasonably cool this year (50s and 60s) it would not even been open yet since it wasn’t usable. As much as we’d like to, we cannot control the weather for our guests and we try to be as transparent as possible especially since you had asked many years ago if it was heated. Those discussions should be in your inbox history (as they are in mine) and might help clear up the confusion. We have 2 different email threads for reference. Many years ago, we did have a hot tub - but we removed it from service at the end of 2022 and has not been listed as an amenity since then and has not been available for use for almost 4 years (and it is not listed anywhere in the description of our home or amenities - because it’s no longer an amenity). We even make sure to mention in the description that we no longer offer a hot tub, in case someone who is looking at our home sees it listed in someone’s review from years ago. Hope you’ll look back at our exchanges and confirm this. We pride ourselves on being as transparent and go above and beyond to make your stay as great as it can be.

Hi Cole! Loved having you guys! The propane tank was actually full (in fact it was newly filled for your stay) - sometimes it’s something called“vapor lock” that locks the tank up and the trick is to disconnect the propane tank, and roll it very gently on its side to disengage the locking mechanism. Not sure why it happens, but definitely give that a shot next time! Some tank brands have this feature - probably a safety feature? Hope you come back again!
