Convenient Location, Spacious

Easy to find and convenient to local landmarks. We used this as our base to visit NYC and the Statue of Liberty from Liberty State Park.

This was a very large and comfortable unit!! The host, Kim, was easy to communicate with and was accommodating for an early check in! Thank you again for a great stay!

Excellent and Extremely Accommodating

Kim was an outstanding hostess!! She accommodated us the entire trip and even afterwards when I had a guess who accidentally left several items, she was more than understanding. The property was clean and depicted accurately. I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone I know visiting the area.

Great Host

We stayed for one night while in the area. Check in was super easy and Kimberly was a super host. She was very accommodating and quick to respond if we had a question. Next door neighbors played their music very loud but not Kimberly's fault. We found street parking easily.

The apartment is great and close to everything. The parking wasn't bad. We did have to park on the street. Everything you need is available in the apartment. The place was clean. We would recommend the place to anyone looking for an affordable apartment near the city and MetLile/American Dream

Beautiful home but location, location!

This property is beautiful but parking is difficult. The Owner is a doll and did call me back when we were checking out about locking the door which needs to be electronic because that huge pad lock is bruising her door/side wall. She needs to also invest in new chairs in that kitchen area. They are very weak and a portly renter will break them. Parking well, I leave that alone. Overall, good stay!! Thanks🙏

Nice place and convenient

We stayed to go to NYC for Christmas and it was convenient and easy to get to the Penn Station! House has a lot of amenities and extras, my husband enjoyed the snacks! The neighborhood was loud and worrisome for me..I couldn’t find on street parking and while I was driving around and pulled over by a cop that told me I needed to get inside and stay inside! Didn’t have any issues with the house but just loud neighborhood compared to what we are used to! Check in very easy but not check out instructions given.

Hot mess

The chairs for the kitchen table broken, not enough towels for a family, no soap or papers towels, holes in the wall, internet was broken, she bought over the cord the next day. The pots were no usable at all rust. The bathroom door looked like it had poop on the door. This is the worst home I have ever stayed in.

Overall the house and cleanliness was great but there were a few things i did not like things were broken holes in the walls expired things in cabinets and fridge and communication with host was terrible she would not respond

Sean Davis has left a retaliation review. He or his guests vomited all over the property & smoked out the entire apartment. There is nothing expired in the home or holes. Every message from Sean was responded to.

Very spacious unit. Overall it was ok but several improvements recommended. First the neighborhood needs investing in. Lots of garbage everywhere & very loud music all evening. it badly needs to be painted. Towel rack broken in master bath. No flat sheet to cover up with, fridge wasn’t clean. Finally we never received check out directions.

We enjoyed our stay here. It was only 15-20 mins to American Dream Mall which was great. The first couple of nights parking on the street was fine, we were able to park right in front. However, the last two nights the parking spaces in front were taken so we had to find parking on the street down from the house. The only down-side is that there was only ONE television in the living area and the sofa there should definitely be replaced with something much better. I traveled with kids and it was a hassle when we got back in to wind down and there was only the one television. 🙃 The neighborhood wasn't too bad, it was quiet for the majority of the time. There are not many food places near either so getting groceries worked better for us.

Very Spacious Updated Home

Very clean, well maintained unit. AC was super cold, felt nice during these hot summer days. The neighborhood does seem a little questionable, however this is not the hosts fault and its out of their control. The area does seem like several homes are getting renovated. Only two complaints, there were only three chairs to eat at the dining table, we had a group of six. Also, two of the guest were not a couple, so one opted to sleep on the sofa, however there were no extra blankets or sheets. It was no biggie, since it was a hot summer night, the guest was fine without. The extra amenities were great such as the keurig, condiments, & snacks, etc... Would definitely stay again when visiting the area.

Not worth it, don’t do it

Place was not cleaned even after being told at 7pm. I change my plans to accommodate them to clean. They said she will have someone take care of it. If it wasn’t because I was there for a funeral I would of took my family elsewhere. Sofa was broken and no place to eat or sit as a family. We booked because it was supposed to accommodate 6 adults. If you gonna just stay in the bed all day this location is for you. Fridge, stove and living areas looks like they haven’t been clean in a while. WiFi didn’t work at all.

Good size and comfortable, Needs some cosmetic love

Pros: * Host was responsive and easy to work with * Apartment was spacious and had plenty of room for 5 people to be comfortable * The decor was trendy and felt fresh and updated. * Kitchen was lovely and had what we needed. * On-street parking, but we were able to find a spot pretty easily. Cons: * The place needs some quick cosmetic love and drywall patches. A new couch would be a great investment. * The cleaning company really needs to do a better job. It didn't look dirty at first, but a few things stood out after being there a few hours. * The neighborhood was loud (music pounding from a neighbor until 2am on a Wednesday night). Overall, it saved us a lot of money from staying in the city and we had room to spread out and be comfortable. I think if the owner talks to the cleaning company and does a bit of a refresh on the walls/couch, it'd be very close to ideal. Thanks for the hospitality!

Never Again

We were quite disappointed with the rental. The unit itself was quite clean, but that is the best I can say about it. The neighborhood was quite bad, as this appeared to be the only reasonably maintained property within a 3-block radius. On-street parking was not readily available, so we had to park blocks away. And, despite communicating our concerns to the host, our Wi-Fi never operated correctly--- so, we eventually just gave up on trying. The small couch in the living area had no support in the middle of it, so it sagged close to the ground in the center. The towel holder in the master bathroom was not fixed to the wall, and there was no towel holder at all in the other bathroom. We tried to make the best of it, but it was pretty horrible overall.

Initially we contacted the owner straight away for check in , but after that it was spotty at best , to reach her We ranged from 27 - 92 years of age 4 of us Supposed to be free wifi , there was none ! So then there was no TV. ( like to watch local news when away ) House looked good when we got in at first , looks pleasing but here are the problems as I remember them No wifi , she did give me $80 discount because of that Absolutely no parking Neighbour has a whiny dog … all nite ! Gave us face clothes to use as hand towels No shampoo , no hair dryer Nowhere to lay open your suitcase in bedrooms No chair in bedroom Only light is ceiling light Only small sectional couch in living room, no extra chair Table had 4 wobbly chairs I guess if we didn’t want to squat on sectional we could use kitchen chairs! Garbage on sidewalks on street , no pride in neighborhood ! Toilet paper holders broken off walls , I did see that on another review , I guess it doesn’t matter to owner We had hard time regulating the heat/ air instructions would have been nice The neighborhood was a little sketchy and I think that was because of all the garbage in the streets ! we used Uber to get around I asked if it was easy to get to Times Square and was told yes it takes half hour or so ! NOT ! It was however close to the cruise port as she said
