We enjoyed the cottage so much! We spent quite a lot of time hanging out in the house and outside by the fire pit. The area was so quiet and it was very relaxing. We loved that it was located so close to downtown and it was easy to get around.

Great place to stay in Aiken

The Sweet Tea Cottage was a perfect fit for our stay in Aiken. It was well appointed and comfortable for our stay visiting relatives in the Aiken area. In fact, it's our 3rd time staying there over the last few years. Cara is a great host and was helpful and responsive with any request we had about the place. When we have to be in Aiken again, we'll be sure to check on availability!

We enjoyed the cottage very much. Perfect size for our little family. Kitchen was equipped with all we needed. Decor was adorable. Had a difficult time with check in, but once the host answered our call we were able to get in without a problem. Will visit again!!

Hi Allen, I'm glad you were comfortable for your stay. Sweet Tea Cottage was fully updated in 2022 and we strive hard to make it modern and comfortable. We have had many 5 star reviews here and on AirB.... for Sweet Tea. I'm sorry you don't appreciate the charm and historical value of the neighborhoods in downtown Aiken as most of the properties have been built prior to 1950's and many have been lovingly restored we a few still in need but they continue to get purchased and updated. The neighborhood is quite and very friendly with easy access to everything. Perhaps you might enjoy the Wilcox or one of the more expensive accommodations in town next time. Cheers, Cara

Cute and Convenient Cottage

Really enjoyed our stay in Aiken in this southern 2 bedroom cottage. It was perfect for my daughter and I. Everything appears to be new, beds are super comfy, and its only 3 minutes from Bruce's field if you are in town for a horse show. Would definitely stay here again.
