Very quaint historic home from 1890. Neighborhood is quiet with shops nearby. Convenient to all of Lincoln. Great space for a solo traveler. My only advice is there are no closets, so plan accordingly. Make sure to check out the bookstore on cooper street as well.
My husband and I really like this area of Lincoln with shopping, restaurants & gas station close by. We attended the NE football game while we were in town. The quaint little suite we stayed in was perfect for our short visit! We will definitely tell our friends and family about your Inn! Thank you!
We thoroughly enjoyed a 3 night stay! Highly

Guest flipped out on me over the phone the day that she had checked out. She asked for an iron the night before & I explained that it was currently in use by another guest. I have purchased another iron as this issue should be resolved going forward. Otherwise, Nancy was very clean while staying in the suite.
The location was great, the hosts were exceptionally nice and accommodating. Coffee shop and bakery at the end of the block! Easy private parking. Great place!
Quaint property as advertised. Denise was quick to respond to questions. Enjoyed our stay.

I loved staying at the Sisley Inn! The home is charming and very comfortable. The owners were very friendly and personable. I love the neighborhood; it was quiet and the beds were very comfortable. I will definitely stay again. It was just perfect for my needs. The Mill Coffee shop around the corner was nice as well. 💕
Suite 1A was absolutely charming! I loved the antique decor! The landscaping was delightful! The space was clean and had everything I needed. The host was very kind and down-to-earth. It is directly across the street from Union College so I was able to attend Alumni weekend events easily by just walking across the street. I would definitely stay here again!
The property was clean and the check-in process was smooth. The accommodations are a bit cluttered, however, and the parking area (which is only accessible through a dark alley) has no lighting.

No communication what so ever. I reached out seveal times with no response.
Actually my son ended up doing this trip. He said everything was just fine and as advertised. I may make this trip next year and use this location. No issues.
Great comfy bed, soft sheets and towels, clean rooms and bright bathroom. It's all got that older home charm but updated and clean. It's a tad tight but that is just they way older homes were made. We loved it. Very quiet and right across the street from Union College. We walked to coffee every morning and enjoyed the easy parking in the back. Denise was easy to get a hold of and made check in effortless. We will stay here next time.

Thank you Whitney! I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay at Sisley Inn. You are welcome back anytime!
I had a lovely stay at Sisley Inn. This historic home is filled with charm. Denise & her family were friendly & wonderful during my visit. It was the perfect location that allowed me to walk for a meal, shopping & right across from a university. The bed was comfortable, towels fresh & all I needed for my stay. I would definitely stay again if I’m ever back in Lincoln.
This is not a negative, only awareness - if you are sensitive to sound while sleeping, you may want earplugs. The house is over 100 years old, so doesn’t have the sound insulation of recent years. & I expected to hear other guests above & next to me. I slept peacefully.
The location was great as a coffee shop and bakery was just around the corner for a morning wake-up.The accommodations were a bit cramped as it is essentially a bedroom with a lot of furniture in a small space. Also, there is a doorway adjacent to the room next door (within 3 feet of the bed) and the guests there were engaged in "lively" conversations that easily became part of our space. It was though they were right next to us....Though I am hesitant to offer criticism of other's rental property, I felt it appropriate to point out parts that were unexpected. We were in need of an overnight on our way from CO to MN and picked this lodging for connivence but regrettably didn't feel it was worth the price point
The room was very clean, and cute. Right in the middle of a small square of shops, so super easy to walk to. Window outlooked the street and some shops. There was a smart tv, whoch was really great. It was not what I was expeting, though. There were other people living in the house, so I had to walk upstairs through their house to get to my room. The door had a lock with a code, but I felt uncomfortable knowing the owners still lived there, and presumably knew the code. It says in the listing they had air conditioning, but not per room, so it was very hot and stuffy in my room. The wifi also went out at night, and didn't come back until the next afternoon. They were super nice, and no one bothered me and it does say in the listing that it was a privite suite, I just had a different impression of what that meant. I would recomend if you are more used to an appartment living style.
House is cute and older. Messaged host ahead of time and she messaged me back the wrong address so drove around Lincoln for awhile, but found the address in VRBO listing. When I arrived there was another renter there for same unit. I was told I didn’t have a reservation. I explained my payment had gone through and I had messaged days ago. She gave unit to the other person and said she had another but it needed sheets. She seemed upset with me. Someone came and put sheets on the bed so it worked out except the bathroom had hair in the sink and on the floor from prior tenants.
