Everything was exactly what i expected and it was enough room for me and my friends that came to see me out of town they loved the coffee maker and the patio area it was nice and quiet and felt like home I didn’t want to leave

Perfect for what we needed!

We had my family of five along with my parents in town to visit other family in the Birmingham area. This house had everything we needed for all 7 of us to stay comfortably! It is well furnished and close to food and shopping. Overall a great trip!

The property was reasonably priced and the Manager was excellent. unfortunately the listing does not clearly state that all main bathrooms ( showers) and full beds are upstairs. Do Not reccomended for anyone who cannot tolerate stairs well. we had to find a different place for my parents to stay due to this. Back yard area is very small ( just enough space for pets i suppose tho.

We do want to clarify a few points for future guests. The listing photos clearly show that all bedrooms and full bathrooms are located on the second floor, and the property description indicates that stairs are required to access the sleeping areas and showers. We understand that this arrangement may not be ideal for every group, particularly those with mobility limitations, and we always encourage guests to reach out if you have an specific concerns- I’ll gladly clear any confusion up! Regarding the backyard, it is accurately represented in our listing photos. While it is a smaller outdoor space, many guests find it suitable for relaxing and for pets to enjoy. We appreciate your stay and your feedback, as it helps future travelers determine whether the home is the right fit for their needs.

Great Weekend Base Camp

Our group of four adults stayed here while we participated in the Mammoth March hike at Oak Mountain State Park. The neighborhood location was great and very convenient to the state park and area amenities. The property was spotless and exactly as represented in the listing. We found the house (and beds) very comfortable and well appointed with everything we needed. Alise, the host, was very responsive and provided thoughtful, detailed instructions and area recommendations. 100% would book this property again!

Careful with the stairs

Overall, decent place, clean. Stairs are a real death trap though, being slick and slanted downwards. Also broke under the weight of one of our guests. Owners were reasonable about the situation though.

Awful please beware

It was the worst place we ever stayed. We are volleyball moms with their daughters. The house had roaches it was in a sketchy neighborhood and when we sent pictures and complained we received no consideration from the office that owns the property, they were persistent that they didn’t know what i was talking about! I let you all know please consider this as a serious review.
