Better than expected!

We were so impressed with this home! Everything was spotless and so much nicer than the pictures showed. The kitchen is truly stocked with everything you could ask for. Plenty of space for the 6 adults and 2 little girls. Carol was so easy to work with. She even left us a bottle of bubbly! Definitely recommend this one!

Folly Beach stay

The property was nice for our family, but a little distance from the public beach entry. The kitchen was well-appointed and perfect for cooking while there were late sleepers.

Great Location, Great House

The location of the property is just two houses down to the beach entrance. Because it was so close, we were able to go the beach every day and see it early with low tides and evenings. We were able to get to the beach early and find a great spot. Carol had beach chairs and beach towels available to use. The Kitchen was stocked with many dishes and bowls and pans. We found a pick your own strawberries place and the kitchen had an angel food cake pan! So we baked an angel food cake to enjoy with our fresh strawberries! Check in/out was easy. Really enjoyed our week.

Excellent Folly Beach Experience

What a great house and location. The house was in excellent shape with great facilities and steps from the beach. We all loved Folly Beach and can't wait to go back.

Good Location, Close to Beach

This home is very nice and it is super close to the beach with a short walk. The only issue that we had was the construction going on next door. We weren’t told it would be going on and it was VERY disruptive. We also lost power for about 3 hours when the power company changed out the power lines / poles. Other than that, it was a pleasant stay.

Truly a Hidden Treasure

This home is fantastic and perfect for a large family -or- family with friends. The interior is very nice and very clean. The kitchen is fully stocked allowing for quick snacks or full meals. The home has two porches but the upstairs porch with the hammock is excellent. We hope to return next summer.

Total relaxation

My husband said it was the best beach house we ever stayed in. Location was ideal with two porches to enjoy the breeze. The house had everything you need to spend the day on the beach.

Fabulous house and location!

We couldn't have been happier with this rental for our vacation. Clean, excellent location on the island (very quiet part of Folly), close beach access, and house was equipped with everything we needed. Will definitely rent again!!

Amazing Beach House!

This house is everything a family needs to have a fantastic beach vacation. The location of the home to the public entry to the beach is maybe a two minute walk. This came in handy many times when one of my children had to run home to use the bathroom etc. The view of the beach from the top floor porch is breathtaking. The house itself is better than what the photos present. The beds are very comfortable. The kids room even had a blackout curtain which was really helpful for my kids bc they go to bed before the sunsets. Overall we loved it and will definitely rent from Carol again!

Great home & location!

The descriptions are accurate, more so than some of the photos (in a good way!). Specifically the TV's are modern flat screens. The upper deck and its hammock are the best feature. Great breeze and a calming view of the ocean (but not the beach, no great loss). The hosts are amazing! They were very responsive to any question we had. One brand new appliance had issues, nothing they could have controlled, and they were very supportive and helpful. The house is much bigger than two people need, but the location was good which is why we opted for their larger place. We liked Folly Beach's laid back vibe and vibrant town center (lots of restaurants). If we come back, we would hope to rent there again.

Folly Beach House

Nice property. Everything worked as it should, including all appliances, tv's and lighting. The master BR was great with lots of room and beautiful view of the ocean. Loved the large decks on both floors. The only issue was that the upstairs was warmer than the main floor, which was nice and cool but that's to be expected, I guess. Everyone loved the short walk to the beach with easy access. Also, it's only one mile to the town of Folly Beach, which was an easy walk if you wanted to.

Perfect house near the beach

Our family of six loved staying at this house! We truly felt like we could have been home because everything we needed was provided. The house was clean, safe, and spacious! It was so nice to just unpack and relax. Just across the street was access to the beach, the very short walk was appreciated with kids and gear (also a plus that fun items for the beach were available for guests to use). Folly beach was lovely and just a short drive to get to Charleston and other activities. We hope to return and would definitely stay here again!

Great trip

We had a great vacation. Loved the house. Very clean. Close to the beach and just the right distance from the shops and restaurants so there was not an excess of vehicle traffic. Great hosts!

Lovely beach house

Great 2nd row property that has very close beach access. The owner is so nice and easy to communicate with. The house is really clean. The beach was very nice and not as crowded at this location as it was closer to the pier. Fun, beach town atmosphere and easy access to shops and restaurants especially if you rent a golf cart.

Sisters celebration

The place was wonderful! It was perfect distance to beach. Porch was our gathering place for coffee and discussion for the days adventure. Our bed was comfortable. If you stay here I would recommend renting a golf cart, if you are planning on checking out the island. I will come back!

Perfect house in a perfect location

This house is located across the street from the beach, and the beach access is just diagonal to the house. The house itself is roomy, clean, and has plenty of parking. The beach toys and chairs were a bonus!

Fabulous Folly Vacation

This house is in a great location and has everything you need for a great family get away. We loved spending time on the beautiful porches. The walk to the beach is so close, easy for our three year old grandson to walk.

My wife and I had an incredible stay here in Fall 2020 during Covid. The house was a very short walk to the beach, quiet, and well maintained. Relaxing ocean view from the 2nd balcony and short drive / walk into town. We would stay here again and highly recommend to anyone considering it.

Great stay on the beach

Great place for a stay on this great island. We enjoyed this comfy home and it’s proximity to the beach. Sleeping with open windows, the sound of the ocean will soothe you to sleep. Stores/restaurants are within a 15 mins walk, offering great choices for dinning and celebrations. Carol has been great and responsive. Will definitely go back.

Beach bliss

This property met all our needs. The kitchen was fun to use. Porches are relaxing. During this pandemic, the homes cleanliness was reassuring. Folly beach without the usual beach business was ultimately relaxing.

Wonderful property

The home is beautiful and clean with views of the ocean. It was amazingly comfortable and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The owners are so kind and responsive. We will definitely come back.

We love the view of the ocean from the upper deck. The house is impeccably built by a local builder with careful details throughout the house. We also enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of Folly. It has the open feel of a beach community without the constraints that sometimes occur in more recent planned communities. There are great restaurants right on the Island and downtown Charleston is only a 20 minute drive away. There are hidden treasures within Folly Beach and beyond in Charleston, waiting for you to discover to them!
