Beautiful condo

My birthday weekend getaway with the kids was an unforgettable adventure. The condo was perfectly equipped with all the essentials, including beach chairs, ensuring a hassle-free stay. The spotless space and abundance of towels were a lovely touch, and the breathtaking beach views from the balcony left me feeling grateful.

Good getaway

This property was perfect for a short weekend getaway with my younger daughter. You can’t beat the location, steps from the beach and the community pool. We also enjoyed the surrounding area. Nothing was too far away to get to, kure beach has good food and a cute coffee shop that we also enjoyed.One minor thing to be aware of, household conveniences were minimal. No paper towels were provided for our stay, no liquid hand soap in dispensers, and one dishwasher and laundry pod provided for 3 night stay. Easy items to bring along if I had known ahead of time. Other than that, our stay was great.

Beach Vaca

Clean and tidy condo in a great location. Internet worked good our entire stay. Beach is not crowded. Lots of things to do nearby if you want a break from the beach. Disc golf, trails, ice cream shops, shopping, ferry to Southport and etc. Check in and check out was easy.

Steps to the Sand!

You really are steps to the ocean and the view was amazing! Not too far from food places and would highly recommend Celtic Creamery, the Irish Butter Pecan!

Nice place to stay to see the beach

The condo has a nice balcony to sit and watch the waves. The beach was mostly washed away during our stay. The management company was very respnsive and quite easy to deal with on the one minor issue we had. The issue was corrected on the day we checked into the condo.

Quiet Beach Getaway

We loved this unit because it was not near public beach access, and it was like we had our own semiprivate cove to play and swim in. We LOVED the pool right on the beach. Not big and fancy, but never overcrowded. It is also 1/2 mile from the NC Aquarium, and steps away from the Fort Fisher Museum. Overall, the room was clean when we arrived and instructions were easy to follow. There are several nice restaurants close by and Carolina Beach is just a short drive (less than 10 minutes) with more choices and activities. If you love beaches that are not full of people, this is a great place.

Comfortable for a quick getaway

I enjoyed my short stay at this condo. The location was ideal, located directly next to Fort Fischer and the ferry to Southport. Some amazing sunrises and sunsets were enjoyed during my stay! The view from the deck was gorgeous, and I enjoyed sitting in the morning sun and listening to the sounds of the ocean. Access to the beach was easy and a nice walk (1.8 miles one way) to the Kure Beach pier was perfect on a beautiful day. The unit was comfortable and clean, although the kitchen and bathroom could use an update soon. The condo building needs some TLC. Overall a good stay and recommend this condo for a quick stay at Kure Beach!

This place is great, but

Could use a good cleaning. I do not want to knock the condo itself as it is adorably decorated, spacious and in a great area with easy access to the beach, pool and ft. Fisher. The view from the balcony is great! Not noted in the listing is the fact that there are beach chairs and toys in the closet by the door which is always nice to know when you plan to bring these things. The management company needs to do a better job 1) giving instructions on how to get there, find your spot and get in. A map would help. We showed up at night and had a really hard time finding not only our parking spot but also the correct building. The entry code is 9 digits long. 2) cleaning. The place was not cleaned properly. We found crumbs in the couch, someone else’s bathing suit in the shower and the floors were generally grimy. The vents were also all dusty as well as the tops of some of the decorations. We had to do some cleaning ourselves to be comfortable there and I am hoping to get a portion of the cleaning fee back from Vacasa.

Nice for the price

Sea spray had a wonderful location and is clearly loved and cared for by its owner. You have a good view of the ocean, considering it's second row, and Fort Fisher Park is right next door for walking and adventure. Beds and furniture were pretty comfortable and the bathroom is spacious. We had some issues with cleanliness in the kitchen, and it could use a little bit of updating and additional baking items (like a sheet pan). Otherwise it had everything we needed and we enjoyed our stay. Note: I give this condo a four star, but I give Vacasa a 1-star rating. They have been nothing but difficult to work with, fairly unresponsive, and non-bending to the customer when they should be. I personally will never book with them again, but if you do, make sure you buy the insurance and "all your ducks are in a row." Issues like canceling or moving locations is an utter nightmare with this company.

Great place, great location!

I had an amazing stay at Sea Spray Place. It's a perfect little getaway with ocean views, modern updates, and all the comforts of home. The Fort Fisher state recreation area is right outside the door with some of the most scenic views I've ever seen in NC. Carolina Beach is right down the road and offers an abundance of food and entertainment along the boardwalk. I highly recommend Sea Spray Place, it offers something for everyone.

Keypad

Only issue was working the keypad. Need to make sure you let guests know the code is for keypad on the door and not the one next to the door. Also that you need to enter number without pausing much...maybe some basics instructions in welcome email would be a great help! This doesn't need shared on the review site but wanted to give some feedback that was a bit stressful at first. The place was very nice!

Very nice.

Great location and amenities. Private beach access, nice community pool. Condo was clean with simple decorations. Washer and dryer in bathroom was very convenient with provided laundry soap. Kitchen was well-stocked with towels, soap, and blender for margaritas provided. Clean linens provided. We had a lovely stay. Thank you. (Just can't let the kiddos run around inside or the people below you will pound on their ceiling...)

Last minute planning was a SUCCESS

Comfortable furnishings, laundry (perk for my 4yr old grandson), private deck, ocean & pool just down the steps & a walk away. No crowds. No noise or parties. Ideal for my daughter & I (RNs needing to get away- one from NC / one from CA…) and my sister- a dog trainer from NC…my grandson who vacations frequently in Hawaii w/ mom & dad said it was beautiful!!! Solace fir ALL.
