Vier Tage voller wunderbarer Eindrücke

We very much enjoyed our four nights in an apartment in Andreas’ and Martina’s house. The house is just beneath the Church of Peter and Paul, a mere few steps from the bridge over the river. The old city centre and its towers, Baroque mansions, market squares, picturesque shady piazzas, fountains, and austerely elegant Art Nouveau department store are all within 5-10 minutes’ walk. The districts of for the most part impeccably preserved turn-of-the-century residential architecture are slightly further away. The gently flowing, curving river is ideal for contemplative walks. And on its opposite bank is Poland, where everything is subtly changed, the shops keep different hours and take zlotys, and even the air smells different. Andreas and Martina’s house is perfect and has been restored with love, taste, and care for details. We felt very snug, as if in our home. Andreas and Martina were very welcoming hosts. Thank you!

Urlaub in Görlitz

So stellt man eine Woche Urlaub vor. Eine sehr schöne Altstadtwohnung, von der man die ganze Stadt leicht erreichen kann. Das Wetter passte und wir haben sehr schöne Unternehmungen (Radtouren, Stadt- u. Turmführung) gemacht. Eine nahezu perfekte Urlaubswoche
