Lakefront property on Little Lake St. Germain. Two bedroom, Spring, Summer and Fall season, heated cabin also on property (priced separately). Two boat piers, beach, ample parking. Cabin may be rented with or separately from main home.
Great for summer fishing, boating, water skiing, wake boarding. Fantastic location for winter snowmobiling and cross country skiing. About 30-45 minutes south of downhill skiing in northern WI and upper peninsula Michigan.
Property is adjacent to our other property that has a main home with 4 BR and two full baths plus two 2BR cabins. All properties can be rented simultaneously and are easily accessible by walking. There are a total of 13 bedrooms available on these two properties including two main homes and three cabins. Please ask for rates on any of these homes or cabins!
We first chose this large lake home because they accepted pets, but we couldn't have asked for a better place! The photos on this site don't do it justice. The home is nicely updated with two large bedrooms upstairs and a connecting bathroom. There is another bedroom and bathroom downstairs as well. The large living and dining room can accommodate a big group and the large upper deck is perfect place to enjoy the spectacular lake view. The kitchen is roomy and very clean. The only suggestion we have is to replace the old charcoal grill, it was a bit rickety, but we managed.
Although Oak Leaf Lodge is near several other cabins, it feels very private and we were barely aware of our neighbors. The managers of this property are top-notch. Last year, we had 6 adults in our group and two Labrador retrievers (additional pet deposit required). We also rented a pontoon boat from the managers and it made our vacation nearly perfect. The only thing we couldn't control was the cooler than normal weather. However, we are hoping for a few more degrees and a few more fish when we return again this August! We have referred this place to several of our friends and some of them will be renting another cabin on the grounds this year.
