Wonderful family pet-friendly getaway. Beds and pillows were comfortable. House was clean and property well maintained. The view from the deck while having morning coffee was fantastic. Hosts did a great job communicating with us during the stay. Would recommend to others looking for a place to stay in St. Germain.

We had a wonderful stay at this property, which boasts an incredible location right near the Heart of Vilas County Bike Trail and was spotlessly clean upon arrival. The layout is great and we enjoyed our time on the water. While the lakefront was shallow, we had no difficulty with our pontoon boat. Future guests should note that the lower-level bedrooms run considerably cooler than the main level and loft. However the owner, Jeff, was responsive to our feedback and is an excellent, attentive host. We highly recommend this clean and beautifully located home.

This is a beautiful home with a stunning view. It worked well for the 5 of us to bike the many trails in the area. Kayaks, life jackets and other items for lake life are a plus. There is so much room! The 5 of us only used half of the beds available. There’s a full bath on every floor. There is a tiny bit of shabbiness, cracks in the kitchen tile; some older and scratched furniture and some walls need painting. But my fellow guests didn’t mind. The basement and main floor folks felt they could have used more towels but when checking out, we found extras on the 3rd floor! There seems to be a lot of concern about doing the trash and recycling and there are a list of chores to do before checking out like stripping beds and running the dishwasher. Maybe that’s standard for VRBO. We did everything we were asked to do. Glad to have the reminders from the manager.

Fantastic communication!. We had trouble using the Vrbo app for some reason we had to communicate via text instead, which went incredibly smoothly. The property is beautiful and as described. The loft was perfect for the kids. The deck is beautiful for having your morning coffee watching the water and even seeing some deer. We watched a mama flicker feeding her babies in the tree next to the deck. We brought our fishing boat, we weren't really able to figure out the fishing on the lake due to the odd depths of the lake, so the fishing wasn't the greatest for us. We would certainly recommend this cabin to others.

The Grandview Getaway was a great place to stay. It was very clean and comfortable. The host quickly responded to our questions. It was nice to be close to both the Clearview Supper Club and Fibbers Bar and Restaurant. The snowmobile trail is right across the road, and there is plenty of room for trucks, trailers, and sleds.

Our stay in St. Germain was amazing! The cabin was beautiful and spacious. We have a pontoon boat and it was cool to jump right on when we wanted to go fishing or boating!

The host and property were very nice and accommodating. There is a serious problem with Asian Beetles. They were everywhere. Keep food covered, and check the beds.

Family Vacation

This is a very nice place with easy access to Big St Germain Lake. Fishing, boating, pet friendly, proximity to supper clubs…this place has it all. Highly recommended!

Summer Family Vacation

This property is a great place for a family vacation on a lake in the Northwoods. It has a very nice waterfront and great pier. We especially liked paddling up and down Lost Creek, which is just a short distance to the west.

Family Lake Stay A+

This property was exactly as listed and perfect for our group of five kids and four adults. The lake access, lawn, kayaks, well equipped and clean home were all perfect! Great host, will recommend and stay again!

Great for Families!

We loved the location of this property and the setup! It is in a great location on the lake — only a few minutes into town and just down from the boat landing. The shallow shoreline is great for younger kids and the flat yard provides lots of room to play.

Great place for family vacation.

This home was great for our family vacation of 5 adults 5 children and fur baby. The house was perfect with a lovely lake view. Hosts were amazing. We would definitely srat there again.
