Condo, 1 Bedroom + Convertible bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4)
Rent a piece of Boulder history! This double brick Victorian was built in 1905. You get the benefit of solid construction and detail of the past updated with all the modern amenities. One of the best features of a double brick house is its acoustics. Watch a car drive by and you will notice that you see it but don't hear it! This is a perfect getaway for a couple.
Everything is brand new since the remodel was just completed in January of 2010. Enjoy the kitchen with cherry cabinets, granite countertops and new Samsung appliances. The bathroom is brand new also and includes a washer and dryer for your convenience. Bamboo floors grace the bedroom and living room. The living room includes a Samsung LCD TV and Blu Ray player along with Direct TV and a view of the Flatirons.
The unit includes high speed internet provided in both wired and wireless access. A new furnace and air conditioner were included in the remodel and are exclusive to this unit so you can select the perfect temperature for your comfort. If you need more than one bed the living room includes a pullout sleeper couch which was selected for its above average mattress.
Although the unit is exceptional its location is even better. It is at 18th and Spruce. Walk to the shops and restaurants of Pearl Street mall. Take a hike up Mt. Sanitas or visit Chautauqua park or the trails on Flagstaff mountain. This is close to CU but far from the noise of 'The Hill'.

I moved to Boulder in 1982 for my first job out of engineering school. I moved into an apartment in an old victorian and my next door neighbor in that apartment is now my wife of 31 years! We purchased the house on Spruce when we married in 1985.
Owner purchased this Condo in 1985
Why Owner chose Whittier
In 1984 my wife and I bicycled across America. We lived in Boulder at the time and realized after touring the country that Boulder is very special. I have been a nordic ski racer for 38 years. We share a love of cycling and I still love to run the trails close by. Boulder provides the perfect mix of proximity to great outdoor adventure and yet has all the amenities and diversity of a college town. It is not too big and not too small. The city planners had the forethought to purchase open space and keep a greenbelt on the edges of town. Enjoy Boulder, I know we do!
What makes this Condo unique
Skiing - Head to Eldora for the day its only 30 minutes up the canyon. Hiking - Choose Mt. Sanitas or the trails beneath Flagstaff mountain. Lunch at Chautauqua is the best! Rock Climbing - The third flatiron is a classic climb that can be done by a novice with the help of an experienced guide. Swimming - Just a few blocks down and you are at Spruce pool Boating - Rentals are available at Boulder Reservoir Shopping - The house is close to Pearl Street Mall and 29th Street for an abundance of shops Theater - Boulder Dinner Theater is a great place to take in a play and a meal

Loved our stay!
Modernized; quiet; wifi; outstanding location; nice TV--we had all we needed! Thanks!
Location Is Everything
I really enjoyed my week in this little Victorian apartment. The remodel is fresh and spacious, with a well-appointed kitchen and roomy bathroom. The windows allow a great cross breeze is you prefer, but I was thrilled when I arrived on a 100º Boulder day to an air-conditioned, dry, clean space. I hope it is available the next time I come to Boulder for work!
Walk to everything
Nice place, as advertised. We enjoyed our stay here.
Great location, sweet accommodations.
Located steps from Pearl Street in a quiet neighborhood. Parking off street. Comfortable bed. Large kitchen. Nice place to call home! I did not require any assistance from the owner but believe he would have responded in a timely fashion! There are several stairs into the upstairs apartment, keep that in mind if you are unable to 'step up'. We did not have to use the hideaway bed in the living room, do not know how that worked. Thank you for letting us stay! Love Boulder! You are so close to music and great coffee at the "Laughing Goat", few blocks to "Jax" for seafood dining, breakfast at "Snoozy".
home away from home
