Overview

About the property

Condo, 3 Bedrooms + Convertible bed(s), 3 Baths, (Sleeps 7-8)

Our spacious, three bedroom condo is located at Pitkin Creek, East Vail's best located and best kept complex. We are only 100 yards from the last stop in the morning and the first stop in the evening on the FREE bus route to Main Vail and Skiing so there's no waiting, no need for parking and a very short bus ride. Pitkin has a well stocked general store on the property as well as a liquor store. In short, there is no better location in East Vail than Pitkin Creek.

Our non-Smoking condo is a large three bedroom end unit featuring two master bedrooms with private bathrooms, queen beds and fantastic views. The third bedroom has a twin day bed with a twin trundle and the third full bathroom is steps away. The living room has a new pull out couch and recliner. The kitchen is large enough to prepare meals for a large family and the dining area comfortably seats seven. The master bedrooms and the living room have flat screen televisions. The upstairs master bedroom and the living/dining area have vaulted ceilings which give the condo an open and expansive feel.

It's an excellent location, just steps to the pool/hot tub, parking and grocery/liquor store and close to the bus stop. Our condo is quiet, located on the top floor so you'll never be wakened by the sound of those walking above you. The elevation also gives you wonderful views of the mountains, cliff bands, and Aspen trees.

Alpine and Nordic skiing, ice skating, snowshoeing, golf, tennis, hiking, biking and fly fishing are all closeby. The nearby bike path runs along Gore Creek into Vail Village or head the other way all the way up Vail pass.

About The Owner

We reside in Denver but East Vail is our home away from home. We use our condo regularly and occassionally rent it out.

The Owner purchased this condo in 2013

Why The Owner chose Vail

Pitkin Creek is ideally located with the closest stop on the bus route to Vail Village with the added convenience of having the only grocery and liquor store in East Vail just steps away.

What makes this condo unique

We looked at a lot of units in Pitkin Creek before we bought. The spacious master bedrooms and the views from all the rooms is what sold us on our condo relative to others.

Perfect summer vacation!

  • 5 of 5

We enjoyed this beautiful condo. The renovations are beautiful and the condo is full of natural light. The kids enjoyed the pool, the volley ball court and the large grassy area to play. Anne was a fabulous host and very prompt and helpful when I messaged her with questions. We'll be back.

Great location for a biking vacation at the foot of Vail pass, minutes from Vail center

  • 5 of 5

Our family had a fabulous time at this nice condo. After a day of biking and mountain vistas the pool was refreshing. Kitchen had what we needed to fix our meals and the grocery within the complex had what we didn't bring. Lots of dining and entertainment in Vail in the summer. Nice price for all you get and clean. Friendly owner wants you to have a good time. Overnight bike shelter is limited but sufficient. I'd like to see it again with fall colors. Bike to Frisco and Breckenridge or drive 50 miles to Glenwood Canyon. Great trails all around.

Perfect summer vacation condo for vail

  • 5 of 5

My wife, myself and my two teenage sons really enjoyed our 5 days in vail. We loved how quiet and scenic this condo unit is. Other parts of vail are nice but east vail is a little quieter and is still really close to everything. The pool and hot tub were a nice way to relax and socialize after adventuring out in the area during the day. There are nice hikes and a bike path that takes you into downtown vail right at the condo complex. Anne, the owner, was great to deal with and we would stay there again whenever we return to vail.

Enjoyable

  • 4 of 5

We enjoyed staying in this property. The only reason I lost the property as a three is due to the many stairs one needs to take to reach the condo and then a final flight of stairs to reach the master suite. We found the stairs refreshing during our summer stay but if it were winter and we had spent the day skiing, it would have been a different story. It was south nicer having a three bedroom condo with three bathrooms to come back to each night versus hotel rooms after our day's activities. This condo is in waste Vail which is in a much quieter part of the valley and made for quiet, restful nights too. The kitchen had everything we needed too.

Awesome Spot and Priced Better than Most

  • 5 of 5

We stayed here in the Fall and to be honest, I was very impressed with how nice it was since it is priced more competitively than many of the others in this same complex. The owner was very flexible and responded quickly to all inquiries. The pool and hot tub were awesome. Highly recommend this place.

Awesome Girls Weekend

  • 4 of 5

The apartment was perfect for a group of 5 ladies and just as described. My party enjoyed being able to hang out in the living room and kitchen which were both well maintained and the later had ample cookware and glass/stemware. While slightly (very slightly) confusing to find, the apartment was well situated and conveniently located off the bus route to Vail. I would gladly stay again and recommend this property.
