Our family had a brief but pleasant overnight stay on our way to visit Acadia along with points further east. The cottages are adorable and we would definitely stay again!
A cute little cottage that was clean and convenient. It was a little over a half an hour drive to Acadia, and about ten minutes into downtown Ellsworth. My kids appreciated having their own bed. The host was quick to reply to messages, and check in/out was very easy. It isn’t a luxury cottage, but it was clean and the beds were comfortable. The photos are very accurate. The bathroom had plenty of towels, a good hairdryer, and a 3-1 body wash. Bring your own shampoo, or it was cheap to purchase at the grocery store. We would stay here again.

My Mother in law went to use bathroom and couldn’t get off the toilet and had to us to help her. There were no bars in the bathroom. So we went to a Hotel in Ellsworth

Liked everything, especially the bright yellow color of the cottage and pinkish bed sheets
We appreciated just how clean the apartment was. The check in process was easy. We were able to check in around 10 pm and everything was ready for us. About 30 minutes to Acadia National parks. It was nice and quiet!

So cute!! The only complaint is that it smelled a little sour/off in the cottage, especially the bedding/carpet...other than that it was great!

Nice little cottage. Really served our purpose for a kind of last minute trip up to Bar Harbor. We found Jon to be very responsive and accommodating. We did not have hot water the first day and when we reached out to him he had someone fix the issue right away.

Disliked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
I'll start with no hot water in the evening & the morning. No showers. The mattresses need replacement, we can feel the coils. The second bedroom door was improperly hung, letting cold air in my room. No extra blankets. The beds did not have blankets. Only sheets (which did not fit properly) and a thin comforter/bed cover.
I stayed here with an older family member that mentioned she wanted to experience Acadia NP, yellow is her favorite color and she was very happy when we arrived and she guessed the correct cabin.
The location is easy to navigate from, just displaced enough to relax and has an adjacent road that is a good walking path.
The host, Jonathan, was attentive and prompt with communication throughout the entire process.
Fire pits, cute cabins with a porch/seating area, nice location and a very reasonable price.
Don't stay in a single room hotel, this is so much better!

The positives - clean, three nice queen beds, upgraded appliances (nice fridge and microwave), convenient location right off the highway, easy check in. Negatives - could definitely use some updating of older features, coffee and cups supplied with instant coffee maker but no sugar, stirrers, or creamer (maybe this is a Maine thing?), tiny little pedestal sink with nowhere to put a hand towel (even adding a hook on the wall would help a lot), awkward room arrangement with having to walk through the bathroom to get between the bedrooms (but I get it - it's a space-saving design). But our biggest complaint is the toilet - it was a NIGHTMARE. It started giving us trouble immediately after getting there and had to be plunged 10 times during our two night stay. By the end it wasn't even fixable with the plunger. And we were being very careful to not overload it.
