A solo una cuadra de las arenas blancas de la exclusiva playa de Mamitas, y a tiro de piedra de los pintorescos restaurantes, boutiques y vida nocturna de Playa en la 5ta Avenida. Disfrute de todas las comodidades de los dos clubes de playa públicos en Mamitas Beach: alquiler de sillas / camas, bares, restaurantes, baños, servicios de spa, voleibol y piscinas. Con 1,500 pies cuadrados en el interior y otros 1,100 pies cuadrados en el exterior, este apartamento tiene mucho espacio para relajarse y descansar. Pisos de travertino, encimeras de granito, parrilla de gas Weber y aire acondicionado son solo el comienzo de la lista de lujos que encontrará aquí. Esta casa de vacaciones, Casa de Belleza (traducida: Beautiful House) se encuentra justo al lado de la popular playa Mamitas Beach, que le ofrece excelentes vistas al océano y fácil acceso al voleibol de playa, alquiler de deportes acuáticos y clubes de playa. También se encuentra en el corazón de Playa del Carmen, con acceso al casco antiguo y al nuevo y animado desarrollo en la parte norte de la ciudad. A perfect beach holiday!

First of all - the photos do not do this condo justice. It is absolutely beautiful and tastefully decorated, with the comforts and amenities of home. It is sprawling, with plenty of room for a family of 4, and the proximity to the beach, the shops, and nightlife were ideal for a relaxing holiday. The miniature Christmas tree was a nice welcoming touch as well. I spent nearly one week here with my parents and my sister, and we were sad to leave it. Check-in was a breeze. The owner was away, so I spoke with I believe her son, Eric before I even landed in MX, about places to run errands - like getting some grocery shopping done, as well as places to listen to music and dance (Zenzi is amazing, go check it out if you stay here!). He was responsive to my messages (even about having to shorten my reservation) , and the recommendations from a local's POV were much appreciated by me and my whole family! I rented a car because I wanted to do a bit of traveling to Cancun and Tulum (PDC is located conveniently right in the middle of the two locations), however if you JUST want the PDC experience, you definitely do not need a car. There is no shortage of shopping, bars, and restaurants just blocks away. The condo and surrounding areas felt very safe/secure to me, and by the end of the stay I felt comfortable navigating the area by myself. Tip - if you stay here - buy some beers from the OXXO down the road, and enjoy the night time stargazing on the beach or on the rooftop terrace. Just beautiful! Would love to revisit this spot someday.

A nice condo in PDC but lots of construction

This was clearly one of the nicest places to stay in Playa del Carmen 5 to 7 years ago. It is a lovely penthouse apartment with all the amenities one needs for a great vacation. The unit is showing its age in several ways: The smell from the bathroom sewer unaddressed despite several messages during our stay. we were told "It is common in PDC" . Apparently the local plumbers do not know about adequate vents? Fortunately for us the smell was not bad the first few days when the front bedroom was being used by our kids. The hulking 5 floor building being constructed between this 3 floor condo and the beach. Apparently the zoning was changed from 3 floors to 5 recently? This unit used to have a nice beach view from the 3rd floor rooftop. Now it is buried by the monster building being constructed between it and the beach. Be aware the pix with this unit on VRBO are deceptive. It looks like there is a green zone next to the unit. That is a eco-hotel and the street below is a construction zone. The relentless construction noise. It does stop from 7pm to 7am or so each day. Otherwise this is a lovely place to stay. PDC is a great town, many restaurants, bars and stores. The beach is nice,and only a short walk from the unit; just take the provided rusty beach chairs with you when you go to the beach. The "Beach clubs" that provide you a lounger and crummy food for a huge fee are a complete rip off. I feel very sorry for the owners in this condo building. Their equity and peace has been disrupted by the apparent lack of zoning laws in Mexico. If you decide to stay here make sure the price figures in the shotcomings as well as the benefits.

Best location, great space and tons of amazing outdoor space

We had a great time in this place; Jean was great to deal with and always attended our requests fast. The apartment itself is very well appointed and clean, big spaces, beds are great with good linens, bathrooms spacious with good quality towels, well furnish throughout. But the major pluses are the outdoor spaces and the location (right in Mamita’s village) a block from the beach and many restaurants! Was so nice to wake up and sit in the large balcony and enjoy the view and warm weather or arrive in the afternoon and relax in the rooftop area or the splash pool. I can’t wait to be back!

Love this condo!

Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us. Our family of six spent the week before Christmas enjoying the Playa del Carmen area and had a fabulous time. Upon opening the door of this condo, it was immediatedly noted that they had set up a small Christmas tree for us. We knew that right there, they were vested in that we have a fabulous stay by this small gesture. The condo is large and spacious. Two bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathroom inside. Full kitchen with "EVERYTHING" you will need. Very clean and modern feel. Your family will enjoy every aspect of the vacation rental. Lots of towels and linens, I think we were the first to use the new beach towels that were provided. The outside living area is just as spacious. On the main floor is a large patio area with lots of furniture and a BBQ. The thing that we like the best about this patio area, is at the end of the day, after being in the sun this patio faces away from the afternoon sun. Making it enjoyable for hours without feeling the heat. The upstairs patio area has its own bathroom, entertaining area and a tub. So if you want the sun for tanning and etc. This is your spot. The beach is a short 5 minute walk. Even a small convenience store along the way to pick up those cold beverages. Our family is very adventurous, everyday we ventured to new beaches, ruins, cenotes, excursions and etc. Staying down in Play del Carmen puts you so much closer to these adventures than staying in Cancun. Check this condo out!! You will not be disappointed and if you need any help they are also very accommodating to your needs. Enjoy your time at this rental.

Above and beyond what we imagined!

This condo is seriously amazing. We felt right at home and were really sad when it was time to leave. The pictures don't even do it justice. Its big bright and open very modern and clean. Rooms are large and the deck space is amazing specially the upper deck with Bbq area. Private parking underground was awesome. We felt very secure inside the building at all times. The location is amazing. 1 block away from 5th ave and 1 block to Mamitas Beach. Couldn't ask for anything better. Thank you Jean for having this place available and thank you Sergio for your kind help.

Life of luxury

We were four adults who rented this fabulous condo Dec. 1 to 7, 2015. We all thought it was among the very best vacation rentals: extra clean, spacious, fully furnished, in a great location and managed by a very helpful and pleasant lady. Even if the jacuzzi was out of order, we would highly recommend this property.

Great place to stay

We stayed in this condo for 12 days in November 2012. We are a family of four with 2 young children. The condo itself is spacious, very well equipped and decorated with a personal touch unlike some other "bare bones" rentals. The terraces are huge and make a great place to have breakfast, drinks and barbecue or just play with the kids. Just as described the location is fantastic, one block away from Mamitas beach (which is likely one of the nicest stretches of beach in Playa) and a couple of blocks away from Fifth Avenue with its restaurants, also walking distance from grocery stores, bakeries, ice cream shops, etc.. The small swimming pool in the complex was a nice plus for our 4 year old. Add to that, very helpful condo management handled by Jean who made the whole booking, arrival and stay easy and pleasant. We'd definitely recommend booking this condo.

Family Vacation

We spent a week at this roomy, stylish but comfortable condo 1 block from the beach with our 2 adult daughters. They loved being near the activity of 5th ave and we all enjoyed the beach and quaint local restauarants where the locals eat (away from 5th ave). Jean, the condo manager was extremely helpful; answered all of our questions and even assisted with booking taxi to/from airport and day trips.

Simply spectacular!

Just returned from a spectacular week of vacation with two other couples, all contemporary (between 30 and 38 years), one of them with a 5 month old and a little girl of two years. The apartment is spectacular, spacious, comfortable, very nice, where they have taken care of all the details so that you sit at home and do not need anything. The condo is very calm and quiet. The location is perfect, just a block from the best beach in the area (Mamitas Beach), where you will find extraordinary beach clubs with all amenities and careful attention, and two blocks from the 5th. Avenue. In our view right in that area are lively bars of the street. Clubs like CocoBongo and Mandala are about seven or eight blocks, but all sides are easily reached on foot. We encourage everyone to enjoy a few days at this property, to which we will return on our next visit to Playa del Carmen. Jean thank you very much for all your attention and congratulations for a wonderful property!

Beautiful and 1 block from beach and dining!

My husband and I, along with another couple, have stayed at this condo for 2 years straight. Prior to that, we have NEVER stayed at the same place twice. However, this condo has everything we need: plenty of outdoor space, a fully equipped kitchen, and a rooftop outdoor area that is just spectacular. The outdoor space of the condo (there are 2 deck areas and a sitting area outside the front bedroom) faces a sanctuary that is like a private park in the middle of town - we sit out there and drink our morning coffee and watch the parrots and birds fly in! It is quiet and secluded, but yet right in the middle of everything! It is a $3 cab ride to Mega for groceries - though we walked there most of the time and cabbed it back. The condo is beautiful and we especially like the dual master suites as we both had king beds and our own bath (one bedroom has a king bed and the other has 2 twins that can be made into a king). It is located one block from the ocean and one block from 5th Avenue, this condo has it all. Another plus is the on-site management, Jean. Jean and her husband have graciously helped us in finding dinner locations to site seeing opportunities. When I dumped the sand out of my beach bag and my i-pod along with it into the locked patio area of the condo below, Jean was able to retrieve it. We cannot say enough nice things about Jean or the condo. You will not be disappointed in this condo and we give it a 10 out of 10 stars.

Outstanding!

This condo is everything you could want. Wonderful location, spotless, amazing view, great staff. Mamitas beach is by far one of the superior beaches in Playa, and this condo is only one block away. You couldn't ask for anything more. We loved everything about it, and so did our 2 teenagers. It was awesome to venture out to Starbuck's and the french bakery first thing in the morning, spend the day on the beach, the evening partaking in the 5th ave shops and restaurants, and end each day in the jacuzzi tub having a nightcap and gazing at the stars! We highly recommend this property!

Another wonderful vacation at its end. Stayed 24 nights at this super condo in the middle of all you need. Beach just a short walk away, White sand, azur coloured see, wooden, big lounges, paradise. Few steps away from charming 5.th ave where you will find all the shops, restauranter, bars you may tdecire. But don't hesitate to choose this penthouse when you make your visit to Playa. It has all, spaceous bedrooms, wonderful beds, big livingroom and a nice kitchen. Balcony at bedrooms 2, big terrace from the livingroom and master bedroom. The patio invites you out for relaxing in nice and comfortable furnitures. And if not this should fill your needs, another big terrace at the roof with heavenly, wooden sunbeds, nice diningarea and your very private jaccusi.. TV sets in each bedroom and a big one in the living room, you can easely have a lazy night at home. No need to bring you whole wardrobe, washer and dryer make it easy to get your clothes fresh again. So join in on the list of very pleased renters, you will never regret. Our best recomandation from two happy Norwegians.

Amazing vacation!!!

This condo was everything as promised! The beach & 5th ave are steps from your door. Everything you need to cook or just relax is available to you in this condo. The people in Playa are so friendly, the food was delicious and everything was more than affordable. Brooke was easy to work with.

Second Stay – Second to None

This was our second stay in this rental and as we described in our first review, every single aspect was perfect! Please read “Exceptional Rental” submitted on June 1, 2010 as it really sums up both of our experiences. During this stay we experienced a maintenance issue. Let me preface this by saying that we own a property management company in Washington, D.C. and the response we received here far and above exceeded the service we provide our residents/tenants in DC. We told the on-site property manager about our issue on Sunday morning and to our great surprise she had the problem diagnosed on Sunday afternoon and repaired on Monday morning. A similar issue (refrigerator compressor) would have taken us 1-2 business days to resolve back home. The measure of a great hotel or rental property is not only the experience when things are new, working and in perfect shape, but more importantly the response when unexpected things go wrong or break. The lightning response with which our maintenance issue was resolved only goes to reinforce our confidence and the exceptional quality and value this property presents at all stages of the rental experience. Another GREAT stay and more reasons to come back! We are foodies and on a side note, Como Como is a new restaurant that opened up on the northwest side of 38th St and 5th Ave – best food we have ever had in PdC; three courses with drinks for around $80 for two. Maybe the best meal we have had for under $100 worldwide, but probably it was just several days of barely okay food… Well worth a visit (4 minute walk from condo). The parmesan steak and peanut/pumpkin crusted tuna were great both nights we ate there.

Wonderful Condo

We stayed here for a week in late October and found the unit to be terrific.Just as pictured-beautifully appointed and spotlessly clean.Very comfortable condo with everything supplied you will need to have a great time in PDC.One block to Mamitas/Kool beach clubs and 1.5 blocks to 5th Ave.Couldn't ask for a better location-close to everything but perfectly quiet in the evening when you want to relax.Playa is full of great restaurants but the ones in the North End are the most diverse and wonderful overall.Nice clean complex with a small dipping pool for cooling off at the end of the day.Beautiful roof top area with spa/bath/sun chaises etc.First time we ever had poor weather on a trip to Playa and almost didn't mind since the condo was so nice.Would recommend to anyone who wants a great place to call home while in Playa.

First Trip to Playa August 2010

When we booked our stay in this condo we had plans to vacation with another couple. The other couple was not able to make it so we had this spacious condo all to ourselves. This condo easily has room for 4 adults or a family of 5 or 6 without any trouble. The condo is very conveniently located close to Mamita’s Beach and 5th street. Even though the beach and 5th street are just a short walk Mamita’s Village was extremely quiet – in fact there was never any outside noise that we heard while staying in the condo. Clean, spacious, very well appointed with everything you might need while staying in Playa. The owner was a breeze to deal with and the local property manager met us upon arrival, gave us a tour of the condo, and answered all of our questions. The fridge had a nice surprise with 6 cold cervezas and chips/salsa waiting for us when we arrived. We’d highly recommend staying in this condo and will definitely book it again when we return to Playa del Carmen.

Great vacation

Super location 1 block from white sands and crystal blue sea and 2 blocks from restaurants. Condo was absolutely amazing and far exceeded our expectations - extremely well equiped with just about everything you could possibly need. Immaculately clean. Climb the spiral staircase to our very own rooftop terrace with sunbeds, jacuzzi and bbq - just add a good book and maguerita HEAVEN. Highly recommended

Beautiful and close to everything!

I had the pleasure of staying at Casa del Belleza for my birthday in July. The owner was great to work with from start to finish. The property manager showed me around and was there if needed. The condo is beautifully decorated, very clean and has everything, except food and drinks. Oh, I take that back...they have a six-pack of Corona and chips/salsa for you upon arrival. Very nice touch. There is ocean view from the balconies, as you are I'd say 1 1/2 blocks from Mamitas Beach and Beach Club. A 5 minute walk, tops. 5th Avenue is about 2 blocks the opposite direction of the beach. There is plenty to eat and drink on 5th or the many side streets. All in all a great stay. Can't wait to go back in November!

Wow! Perfect Place for a Family

Folks, this is the way to go! My wife I along with our 2 teenagers just spent an incredible week in this condo. The TV area, dining area, and kitchen were a great for our family to spend time together. Having our family split up in different hotel rooms doesn't appeal to us. This condo really provides a luxurious setting with all the comforts for our family to enjoy our time. Having our own large private penthouse deck and sitting area provide a great escape with an incredible view of the beach. It's a block from a beautiful beach with 2 popular beach clubs with great amenities. It's a block away from the quaint 5th avenue with all its small shops and boutiques and restaurants. There is a large grocery and Wal Mart 5 minutes away where we were able to get everything we needed to cook a few meals in. The owner, Brooke, is great, easy to work with, and very responsive to questions. My family is planning our next trip back to Playa del Carmen. And, I can promise you it won't be to to a hotel room even if it is all inclusive. We are going back to this condo - its the only way to go!

Excellent Stay - Excellent Condo

My husband and I visited Playa del Carmen for our 5th anniversary and truly loved how relaxing our stay was, thanks mostly to this beautiful condo! The weather was very hot and rainy when we visited - but not worries because we had a beautiful place to hangout indoors. As mentioned in the other reviews, the condo has all of the amenities of home and has plenty of space for two couples or a family. The beds and furniture were very comfortable and there were plenty of towels for both showers and the beach. We even found a deck of cards that came in handy when the rain was pouring down. Jean, the property manager on site, was wonderful and was able to promptly answer any questions we had. We booked through the owner and it was a quick and easy process with just a few emails. The beach clubs only a block away were great, but we did find a restaurant (where 12th hits the beach I believe) that provided free umbrellas and chairs as long as you let them wait on you...it was great! We would have gotten food / drinks from the beach club anyways, so why not enjoy free chairs. The service was wonderful and the food was the best we had during our stay. Who doesn't love shrimp Tacos on the beach! I believe the restaurant was called Lindo...or something similar. The condo was also in a quite area, so no need to worry about noise from restaurants or clubs. There was a bit of construction noise during the day at the new condo across the street, but I imagine that will be wrapped up shortly, plus you'll be at the beach during the day! If we return to Playa we'll definitely rent this condo again!

Relax

The condo was perfect for two couples. We ate out a lot but we also enjoyed snacks, cocktail hour, and late night evenings on the main floor patio. The outdoor, extra-comfy, furniture made the condo extra special. You have a great breeze and a view of the ocean! I was a bit hesitant to book the condo because of the location from the "central" location of Playa but what I realized on this trip is Playa is growing and growing. The condo was a perfect location to the beach (2 blocks) and had much better restaurants a few blocks away than in the heart of playa. I would recommend this condo to anyone looking to enjoy a comfy home environment.

I first vacationed in Playa del Carmen in 2005. I immediately fell in love with it and returned four more times in 2006. There is something magical, even mystical about this city. That's when I decided to buy a vacation home in Playa. I've traveled all over the world, so to decide to put roots down in Playa says a lot about the town. After looking at many properties, as soon as I walked into this condo, I new I was "home". This being my first vacation home, it was almost like having my first child. I thought it was so beautiful (because it is), I named it "Casa de Belleza", which in Spanglish translates into Beautiful House. I invite you to share in my little slice of heaven, Casa de Belleza, in my beloved Playa del Carmen.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Casa de Belleza is located right off of the popular beach, Mamitas Beach, giving me great ocean views. It is also in the heart of Playa del Carmen, with access to the old town and the lively, growing new development in the northern part of the city. Adjacent to my condo are beautiful mangroves and an old lighthouse that keeps watch over me. The living space is extra large (for Playa), yet it's a relatively small condominium building (24 units), giving me privacy and a sense of home. Truth be known, it was probably the oversized, private penthouse terrace that sold me on this unit. I've had all-night jam sessions under the stars with local musicians on this terrace that made memories of a lifetime.
