The cabin is in a beautiful location on Dudley Creek and has a lot of potential. There is plenty of space to walk your furry pet, which we really appreciated. The bed itself was very comfortable, but the pillows were all different sizes and mostly flat.Unfortunately, there were several issues that affected our stay. The hot tub motor is extremely loud and produces a constant humming vibration. It runs continuously and is located right outside the head of the bed, making it hard to relax or sleep. The hot tub also only reached 98 degrees, which was especially disappointing in 20-degree weather. The bathtub does not drain properly, so water collects while showering and you end up standing in dirty water. Cleanliness could also be improved, particularly the floors and baseboards.Only four towels were provided, with no extra towels for hot tub use. The kitchen utensils were loosely thrown into a drawer with no organization. The refrigerator opens into the main hallway and hits the wall when opened, and there is no ice maker, so be sure to bring your own ice.Several of the blinds are broken and could use replacement. Overall, this is a beautiful cabin with great surroundings, but it needs updates to the interior, décor, and maintenance, along with some extra attention from housekeeping, to truly match its potential.
