Come stay with us and enjoy a quiet retreat in the Texas Hill Country. We have lots to offer including a large hot tub, grill, outdoor living spaces, patios & more! After enjoying your day with friends and family on the lake or exploring the hill country, come home to a relaxing evening in our spacious stay on two acres with a main house and small private Casita. Enjoy the lake, tubing the river, hiking, zip-lining, visiting wineries, shopping in nearby towns, or just hang out on one of our many porches and outdoor decks.

This is a perfect property for large family groups, multi-family groups, wedding parties and bachelor/bachelorette stays. With 4 bathrooms and a private Casita, our property is tailormade for multi-generational or multi-family stays.

Our property is situated in a quiet acreage neighborhood. The only sounds you hear in the summer are the birds and the boats on the lake. It's so private and peaceful. The deer come through our property several times every day. We have a feeder set up to give them a reason to stop by. They also love to be fed fruits and veggies by the guests. Just keep a quiet distance and watch them.

Our place is less than a mile to the nearest boat ramp, and only a few minutes to the Marina and public swimming areas. The Horsehoe on 306 is the perfect place to float the river in the summer months. There's hiking nearby and so much more to do. See our house manual for a more detailed list of all the local attractions. You will fall in love with the small town of Canyon Lake and the clear cool water of the lake and river. Boat rentals are available from the Marina and several other outlets.

If it's shopping and dining you love, there's plenty to see in the area. We anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour to many different shopping and dining venues. Entertainment venues include Gruene Hall, the Whitewater Amphitheatre and local bands at the Baja BBQ grill on Canyon Lake Marina. Wineries galore in the area. There is so much to see and do.

If you prefer to just hang out, we have a hot tub for 7, a fire pit, outdoor games and just awesome places to relax and lounge and take in nature with all the outdoor decks and porches. Whatever your preference, you will be happy you came!

We had the best time. House was just perfect - so clean and comfortable. There was a place for everyone! My husband especially liked the casita to go take a break and watch his sports games. Loved the deer visits we got in the morning and evening. The owner was so friendly and helpful! We loved Canyon Lake and will be back!!!!

Week of Family at a Beautiful Home

Perfect for family gatherings

The parents get away for the weekend!

We had a delightful weekend getaway at this charming rental! The house was simply beautiful, and waking up to the sight of deer grazing just outside our door was a truly magical experience. Excellent stay!!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Our stay was excellent…but the communication with our Host Rhonda was top notch. The place was very clean and cozy. It had everything that we needed and the hot tub was a great way to relax after the lake. Highly recommended !

10/10 would recommend this property. The house was very clean and had comfortable beds. There is a deer feeder on the property and there was always deer nibbling on corn. It was nice to drink coffee in the morning and watch the wildlife!

We Love Deer

Beautiful house in a secluded area! Having a hot tub was wonderful! Close to Canyon Lake! Highly recommend this property for a vacation trip ! The property manager always answered all questions quickly. The casita was an adorable little house beside the main house.

Loved it!

My Team stayed at Canyon Lake while they were taking a class. From the moment they arrived, I got non-stop messages about how awesome the place was. In fact, several of them mentioned booking it for a weekend away with their families. The host was fantastic and very responsive! Highly recommend this location.

Love this beautifully designed and decorated space. It is positioned on a great lot with plenty of room for parking. The casa is super cute. We loved having the mater on the second floor as you don’t hear people walking above you. Loved the wrap around balcony. Plenty of deer to watch. We will be back!

Family lake trip

We had a great time with family at the Canyon Lake house. Everything you need is there such as coffee, soap, shampoo, etc. We loved having rhe casita for the grandparents since we go to bed earlier than the young people! It was very quiet and peaceful at the property. The deer and fox kept us entertained and are friendly. We enjoyed watching them and feeding them. We only wish that the lake had enough water to take the boat out, but that was only mother nature’s fault. Tubing the river was close and fun. We would highly recommend the lake house. We had plenty of space for the 10 of us.

Oasis in Canyon Lake

A beautiful home in an equally beautiful setting. The house was clean and cozy, with ample seating inside and out. It was the perfect setting for a large family reunion, and Rhonda was an all-star host! We were able to unwind after a long trip around the firepit, enjoy our morning coffees on the balcony, and do some catching up around the dinner table. (Even if some of us were a little crabby after a long day on the water!) Once you get off the property, wow is there so much to do around Canyon Lake! While the lake itself was a little low, spirits were still high; so if the waterline is low, don't let it scare you away. We also went to Wimberly, which has some great bars and restaurants, as well as a handful of unique locally owned shops, hopefully they'll still be around when we come back! While unfortunately we didn't make it out to any of the vineyards during the week, it only gives us more reason to come back. Everyone had such a great trip, and I cannot thank Rhonda enough for letting us stay in her wonderful home. -Z xoxo

60th birthday girls trip

We had an amazing stay at this property. There were 8 women celebrating my 60th birthday in Canyon Lake. Rhonda‘s home was quaint and cozy but plenty of room for everyone. The beds were amazing, and I like that each room is apart from each other so everyone had their own space. I also love the various gathering areas in and around the house. We enjoyed seeing the deer feed each morning. The day of our arrival, we spent the afternoon in Gruene, which is about 35 minutes from the property. I was pleasantly surprised to receive a message from Rhonda saying that the property was ready a little early and I was welcome to arrive at any time. We stop by and HEB to get our supplies for our stay and headed on over to the property. We stayed in the first evening and had a pajama and pizza party from a local spot that delivered. It was delicious and arrived in a timely manner. The next morning, We took a morning hike to at Madrone trails which navigated us to Canyon Lake. It was beautiful and serene. That afternoon, we visited a couple of wineries nearby, Kai Simone and Pontita. Of the two, I would rate Kai Simone, the highest for their beautiful ambience, scenery and quality wines, as well as having a talented musician serenade us during our tasting. Pontita’s staff were very nice and accommodating but the wines were sub par in our opinions. We dined that evening at Gennaro’s Trattoria and sat outside to enjoy breathtaking views of canyon lake. My only regret is that we were unable to partake in the hot tub due to our limited time. I wish we would’ve stayed another night at this lovely home. Rhonda was extremely communicative and answered all of my many questions very cheerfully and quickly. I would definitely recommend this property, and I would love to come back and stay again with my husband and a few couples.

What an amazing review! I’m almost sad I wasn’t there for the fun itinerary. You girls know how to have a great time. So happy you enjoyed the property and many of the things the area has to offer. We would absolutely love to host your family and friends in the near future!

Amazing property!

We had a group of 8 adults at this property, and let me tell you, every single person was blown away by this home and the gorgeous land it sits on. The home had everything we needed, privacy, more than enough room for everyone, and the amenities kept us so busy that we really wish we had booked a longer stay. We were also super impressed by the unexpected finishing touches that were included…Christmas decorations! It was all so adorable. The owner was also very responsive. Loved everything about this place. We will definitely book here again!

We found this place in late 2021. It had been neglected for years, so we took it and gave it a complete overhall. We could see the vision for what it would become. We love the quiet, private area that's super close to the lake. There's always a great breeze and the deer LOVE our property. So peaceful.

This property is located in an acreage community. You will feel completely private. Perfect for star gazing and watching the local deer and wildlife. The nearest boat launch is less than a mile away and the lake is so close you can hear the boats launching at the dock.
