The ARTIST'S TREEHOUSE is on one acre in Carmel Valley with views across the property, Carmel Valley Village and the Carmel River. It is nestled in an old oak forest with lots of light, sun and views– beyond the fog belt of the coast yet under 20 minutes from Carmel.

My Artist's Treehouse and Artist's Library couple-size apartments are at the top of the most popular in the Carmel/Monterey Peninsula area. Experience them.
A wide staircase winds up to the deck with table and seating (smoking allowed outside, only) and the double doors to the apartment. The all redwood building has a peaked, open beam, tongue and groove ceiling with cathedral-shaped stained glass windows on each end and screened windows throughout.
Carpeted with oak parquet in the full kitchen and tile in the full bath (shower)– the effect is light and lovely! Extremely well insulated, the Treehouse has a gas wall heater; in summer the ocean breezes come in early afternoon to cool and the days are FOG FREE.
Parking is a covered carport behind full fencing and an electric gate. Addit parking fee for a second car, by request only.

We loved our stay at The Treehouse! It is a peaceful, welcoming setting and we'll come again!
The drive from SF was lovely, our dinner in Carmel Valley Village was delicious, the Aquarium was great to visit (and Desiree shared her membership cards!). We will definitely return!

Honeymoon trip
We were able to enjoy a few peaceful days in the Treehouse. The area is very safe and quiet yet close to wonderful places to visit in Monterey and Carmel. We especially enjoyed watching birds off the deck

Hidden Gem
Stunning hideaway surrounded by beautiful countryside. The accommodation was uniquely and perfectly designed for comfort and serenity.
A truly enjoyable getaway....we will be back!

Wonderful property great host
Great property and very roomy. Amenities top notch. Close to every where you want to be. Can cook some. Beautiful property and very safe. Wonderful host who gives you all the information you need to have a great time.

Great spot
Conveniently close to town in Carmel valley and a brief drive to the ocean. Just what we needed. A cute shabby chic vacation getaway with a rustic feel.

Great place, in great location, with great host
Idyllic spot with very nice view. Unit, inside and out, full of charm and comfort. Host was very accessible and communicative. Would stay again w/o looking for alternative.

Stunning Location!
Our 3 night stay was perfect in every way, a total contrast to recent properties we have stayed in. Desiree is amazing, she really looks after you and is a font of local knowledge, which comes in very handy if you don’t know the area. I would not hesitate to recommend a stay here if your in the Carmel area…we will certainly be back 👌

I love the outdoors and wildlife. Between here and the 3 minutes to the 'Village' watch out for deer and turkeys on the road. At the 'Treehouse' we also have turkeys and quail, gray fox, raccoons, squirrels, opossum and birdsong. At night you can hear the river running in the canyon below and birds singing a morning wake-up. Night skies are exceptionally starry and we are fortunate with our clean air to view the Milky Way most nights.
